Bea JulietHopeThis is the most informative education I’ve EVER received on PCOS and that’s saying a lot, because I was diagnosed in 2008 and it’s now 2022. No one ever took the time to explain the A to Z of PCOS to me. I’m so grateful I found Melissa through my own research and, fate-ishly enough, my SIBO dietician recommended her shortly after I found Melissa. I’m looking forward to working with her. It’s been tough, to say the very least, “living” with all my symptoms. Again, I’ve learned so much just by listening to only the first few episodes (so far) of this podcast. What a total shame conventional doctors don’t have this knowledge. They don’t even care to have this knowledge.

terreppLove the content but the audio needs improvementStill rating a 5 star review because I love Melissa’s content! But sometimes it’s difficult to listen to with headphones because the audio is so poor. Hopefully that can improve as the podcast expands :)

lesliedietitian1WowJust so much information that anyone looking to improve their hormones with some basic take home messages can follow! Really well done highlight the latest research updates !
-
ElizibethBramReally helpful, practical helpI’ve always enjoyed the hormone dietician and her practical approach to PCOS management. Before I found her on Instagram, all I could find was advice to cut out all carbs, dairy, etc. This advice keeps a regular person in mind and amplifies the voices of other trusted practitioners. The weekly cadence also helps me stay on track with my goals as listening to the podcast can help me re-center what I’m doing that week. Favorite episodes so far were about stress with Kendra Tobert, Keeping cultural foods with Amber Charles, and New Years Resolutions. Keep up the good work!

Mrs. LocherSo helpfulAll of the information is great, I love how straightforward the information is!

Ms. Jenn MaineAn easy listen with helpful informationThis podcast has given me the information that I hoped to receive from the MANY doctors I’ve visited. I feel that I can trust the information because of the credentials that Melissa and her guests have, but I don’t feel that the information is too stuffy to be relatable. I feel the exact opposite - it’s easily digestible and encouraging. I look forward to more episodes!
-
NessNPGreat showI especially enjoyed the episodes with Dr. Janelle Howell and Sam Abbott. As a HCW and PCOS patient it helped validate the care I advocate for myself and and patients.
-
mrd724A must listen!Informative in a way that’s easy to understand and entertaining. Look forward to listening to future episodes!

mdhuffySo Helpful!Melissa is an amazing resource for PCOS information. Her social media has helped me to feel like there is hope in working with my PCOS. Now her podcast is just as informative, if not more so and an easily accessable way to gain even more information and confidence! I have already learned so much and look forward to all that is to come!

jacyt3Just the guidance I need!I’m so glad I found Melissa! I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and this podcast is such a wonderful source of information, and Melissa also makes all these challenges feel so manageable- makes me very confident that I can improve my symptoms over time. I appreciate her citations throughout each episode to scientific literature.

M.KetchWanted and NeededI have loved following The Hormone Dietitian account and am so excited she is providing another form of content. The conversations that are had between The Hormone Dietitian and her guests are beyond wanted, they are needed by the PCOS community!
-
katiepotatobinInformative PCOS podcast! There is so much misinformation about PCOS circulating on the internet and this podcast does a great job at providing evidence-based information (with research updates!) and having conversations with professionals in PCOS

Ebony L.Beneficial InformationThese podcasts give women who are overcoming their PCOS great knowledge and understanding of what’s happening in their body. I have benefited so much from this information and being able to spread the word to others who share the same story is a big win as well! Thanks Hormone Dietitian for the work that you do! 🔆
-
fofinatrixAmazing podcast for people with PCOSI am so happy that I was referred to Melissa as a dietitian specializing in PCOS some time ago. Her work has been invaluable to me as I heal from this common endocrine condition, and when I saw she would have a podcast, I was thrilled. Already the first few months of episodes have been life changing. Thank you Melissa!

renee1500What A ReliefNavigating my potential diagnosis with PCOS is hard enough. It’s easy to feel frustrated, alone and left with no answers. Hormonally yours is such a gift to get real answers for real problem, not just “have you considered losing weight??” Thanks for all you do!!
-
Klei9Informative & FunThis is handsdown best podcast on PCOS. Melissa is a great host and her interviews are really interesting and informative. Like many, I wasn't diagnosed with PCOS until I tried to have a child. And even then, the doctor tried to put my on oral contraception to "fix" the issue. Through Melissa's podcast and Instagram, I have learned so much more about managing my condition.
-
Swingle33Love this podcast!PCOS is such a difficult condition to navigate! Finding people to talk about it in the same stage of life as you is even harder. This podcast helps me so much to not feel so alone in the day to day with my own personal PCOS journey as well as giving me some great tips along the way!
-
NMT1982The struggle is realThis is my new favorite pod cast! As a PCOS sufferer for years. To hear Melissa & guests validate everything I have gone through & am going through with this syndrome puts everything into perspective. As a 40 year old woman now looking back on my young life, trying to figure out why I didn’t have normal periods & had a hard time conceiving babies & much more, this pod cast, following Melissa on social media & my own research on PCOS is a huge eye opener for me! I only wish I had this knowledge years ago!

iamLalaLalaLalaHope after all!PCOS and wacked out hormones have affected me from my hair to my fertility. So often doctors, friends, and strangers on the internet say “just lose some weight” but that feels almost impossible sometimes (most of the time). I’m so thankful for this collection of work and for the insights these amazing women provide to give actionable and attainable goals to get myself to a healthier place both physically and mentality. Thank you!
-
bndodsonFinally!I’m so grateful to have stumbled upon this podcast as well as Melissa’s Instagram account. I’ve been so discouraged with the “advice” from medical doctors when it comes to PCOS. We’ve all heard it...just lose weight, you need birth control, you need metformin, you’ll need IVF to get pregnant. Meanwhile, I’m pumping my body full of synthetic hormones and who knows what else thinking it’s the right thing to do. I’m so glad there are resources becoming more and more available that give real, helpful, and natural solutions!
-
KryysssThank you!Thank you for sharing PCOS info in layman’s terms. PCOS being something that we will have for the rest of our life, it is so refreshing to have updated and trustworthy information out there in a light hearted and segmented way to digest. Will continue to listen!

DanilyJRestoring HopeFinding this podcast and Melissa’s IG page has been the restoration of hope that I needed. I am a glass half full, let’s get it done type of woman but over the past year I began to lose hope of ever balancing my PCOS. With that came drastic changes suggested by others that have worked for them that left me feeling defeated, hungry (oh so hungry lol) and feeling like my body would never budge. I had a hope leak that made me resent my body. When I discovered Melissa’s page it was like looking at the world with new eyes. Hearing from an actual dietician that I didn’t have to beat my body into submission everyday with food and calorie restrictions or become dependent on metformin and birth control for the rest of my days honestly almost made me cry because finally it felt like someone understood. Then this podcast came along and it is a weekly dose of hope that gives me the tools that I need to slowly but surely balance my PCOS. I keep a journal dedicated to all of the great tips, information and motivation that Melissa and her guest provide. I anticipate every episode and when I’m having a tough day I go back and listen to previous episodes. I am not there yet but I’m confident that change is coming!

kelseyschaffExcellent Evidence-based PCOS Nutrition AdviceI am a Registered Dietitian myself and I turn to Melissa’s podcast, website, and Instagram often since I was diagnosed with PCOS last year. She is a wealth of knowledge and is so generous to share it so openly with her audience. I look forward to each and every episode and highly recommend this podcast as a reliable source of information on how to manage PCOS and balance hormones in a healthy and sustainable way.
-
MariaM510Love love love this podcast!I have learned so much and I’m still learning! PCOS is something that has definitely bothered me for what it feels like but with this podcast makes me feel like there’s hope for me to manage my symptoms!
-
RoroiiiPCOS GURUThe Hormone Dietician helped me start my PCOS journey and now she has a podcast too! She provides such excellent information for those living with PCOS. You can’t go wrong by getting involved with any of the content she puts out. Her philosophy and guidance around life with PCOS is refreshing after all the damaging rhetoric around losing weight being the end all be all. Thank you for all that you do Melissa!
-
EG21218Highly recommend! This podcast and Melissa’s content she puts out are incredibly helpful! I stumbled upon her podcast and social media after being diagnosed with pcos and have learned a TON! I love how clear and simple she presents info. I so appreciate someone providing research backed info and NOT pushing overly restrictive diets or one size fits all. If you’re wondering how to eat for happy hormones and need a place to start I cannot recommend this podcast enough!
-
BMuffin4EFreeing InformationI love the anti-diet body positive culture. It has helped me make peace with my body and stopped me from trying some potentially dangerous diets when I was feeling at my desperate. And although it has helped me love my body at every size. I’ve still wanted it to be just a tad bit smaller. Hearing that it is OKAY to want to lose weight and getting great tips on how to do it really helps. The information on PCOS can be way too confusing at times. I loved that the information given was clear and came from a fellow Cyster!
-
StefonovichPCOS eats! This last podcast was very eye opening and helpful as far as what’s foods to eat and are okay. Being recently diagnosed and yes going online and reading all these foods to cut out and not to eat this or that made me feel sad and lost. Happy to have found Melissa and her page and book and podcast. I’m still in the learning process of trying to find out what best works for me but knowing that I can still eat majority of the foods I enjoy gave me joy. Thank you!
-

Woodruff_SExcited about this podcast!Just listened to Episode one. I have lived with PCOS for a little over a decade and there is so much information to sort through. Looking forward to this being a great resource!
-
Savey00032What a relief! When you receive a diagnosis that doctors know next to nothing about (such as PCOS), it’s so infuriating, disappointing, confusing, and maddening. In addition, you have people who prey on this community with inaccurate information that harms the body even more. To have a podcast that discusses helpful information on a topic that desperately needs more attention is a relief. Keep it up!
-
KC0812Thank YouIt has taken me years to finally get a diagnosis of PCOS. Now I feel lost in a sea of information trying to learn not only what it is but how to manage it. I am truly grateful to have found this podcast! The content is fantastic, relatable, and easy to understand. It gives me hope that healing can happen from a more natural approach! Can’t wait for more episodes!

Skunk214For the Husband too!My wife has PCOS, and when I heard her listening to this the other day I started listening to it as a way to hopefully better understand some of the things she goes through, but also educate myself on something that is such a big part of my wife’s life. This podcast isn’t just for the women out there who have PCOS, but as a husband I have found this information very helpful as well. Melissa also has a great soothing podcast voice, easy to listen to!
-

ShawSimpleSwapsA Breath of Fresh Air to Finally Feel Being a Woman is a Superpower!I’ve been waiting for this lady to start a podcast so I could learn even more from her and hear her voice and I’m so glad she did! Not only is this podcast evidence based, but she presents the information in such a manner that makes you feel empowered and eager to navigate your own health journey. sargemuSuper informative!I’ve been following Melissa on Instagram for a while and have loved the very informative, research-backed approach she has and the content she posts. When I saw that she released a podcast I was so excited and can say it did not disappoint, so excited for what’s to come!
-
Doula DietitianLoving It!I’m loving the podcast so far! I’m on the second one already and I love how organically it flows. Even though I’m a RDN, I don’t professionally work on hormone balance with clients. As a person with PCOS this makes me feel validated and understood. I used to have dissatisfaction with my body and I’m glad to know I’m not the only one to ever feel betrayed by my own self. The PCOS Roadmap course she offers is getting me to understand what I need to do for my body. This Podcast will serve as reminders of what I’m learning, what to do and why it’s important even though I’m not trying to conceive. Melissa thanks for the reminder that our hormones are our “superpower “!
-
OldLadyGomezThe only reason I started listening to podcastsPCOS is hard to navigate but a needed process. It’s been slow going but I feel better with the adjustments to my life and how I eat. Some things I was doing were actually working against me and i realize it now. Looking forward to continuing educating myself on how to pick the right foods for my body 😊
-

S65324Full of Great Info!I skipped ahead to episode two of the show and I couldn’t be more excited about the launch of this podcast. Thanks Melissa!

Celise12RefreshingThis podcast is honestly just so refreshing. PCOS needs to be talked about way more frequently than what it is, and this podcast really helps bring awareness to something that affects so many but way too many people know nothing about. I’ve loved what I’ve listened to so far and can’t wait to continue on this journey learning more about myself, my PCOS and how I can live my best healthy life. Thank you for creating this podcast and for helping to bring awareness for so many of us! Knowledge is power!
