    Hatian migrants eating animals
Shame on you for denying that you couldn't find anything on the Internet Regarding the above. I searched and found several within five minutes including a woman sitting in the driveway eating a dead cat, a dog hanging in the Haitian neighbor's tree, The four geese that were beheaded and carried off by the Haitians, and many people that came forward and said this is a common occurrence for Hatians. Additionally, they also kill animals for good luck! So I won't be listening to your propaganda anymore I'm sick of Democrats propaganda!
  • Does my opinion finally count
Gordon and cast are the gold standard for fun professionals !!
Listen to these personalities every morning and have enjoyed them for a least 2 years. Entertaining as well as informative and a dash of person opinions. The opinions are mostly about food. That definitely makes me more than ready for breakfast. Keep up the great work!

    A nice morning ritual.
I enjoy your news every day. ā€œJulie on the Jobā€ is great. The Mike-Drop is fun. (Happy Friday Eve)! To Jenniferā€¦ youā€™re leaving the Show! Thank you for all youā€™ve done. Best to you !! ā€¢ Rachel Wolfe is horrible. She sings her voice thru six octaves. I canā€™t understand her at all.
  • Just looking for balanced news
    Balanced News
The one show that truly reports the news without an agenda. Interviews and experts represent both a conservative and liberal perspective. Thank you.
  • hardman801
    Do you have an editor?!?
My biggest problem is the fact that the interviews are pure garbage. I literally canā€™t hear one interview then the next guest blows out my ears!! I just listened to know where the guest sounded like she was under water?! Do you guys not have a QC editor? All the personalities are great. Been listening during the week for a couple a years. (The weekend is just a rebroadcast of a couple stories from the work week). Alsoā€¦ itā€™s biased, roughly 65% left leaning. Enjoy
  • We think it is ok
    Congratulations Jennifer on your retirement
Excellent program youā€™ve made it even better. Best wishes on your retirement.

Julie on the Job is Spot On
This Morning is my morning ritual of four years, I listen while walking my dog around the neighborhood. In a polarized world of spin, this podcast stays un-sensational and objective without taking sides. Julie on the Job content is especially relevant as a millennial navigating this job market. Julie Baukeā€™s insights on the Podcast that aired October 23, 2023, bore sufficient resonance and perspicacity to inspire review. Julie ā€œgetsā€ what my generation is going through. Her observation of a ā€œBoomer Biasā€ is spot on and I donā€™t hear many in the media articulating this perspective so clearly. We millennials were sent off to college by Boomer parents and counselors who passively expected us to just figure out our gifting, life purpose, and career path the day we arrived on campus with shower shoes and Ikea furniture. Turns out, college is an expensive place to figure out what to do with oneā€™s life and America has a $1.6 trillion loan crisis as evidence. As Julie said, Boomers expected a college degree to magically transform into gainful employment but, depending on the field of study, graduates find they can be walking a plank into a job market abyss, especially in fields that donā€™t require a degree. Julieā€™s segment today encouraged me that I am not alone in feeling frustrated with the unrealistic expectations on the value of a 4-year degree in the marketplace. She provided timely and cost-efficient alternatives to liberal arts education. To despondent millennials re-thinking their field of study after a decade of professional experience, she instilled hope that meaningful work exists. Thank you for providing relevant content from expert contributors with the caliber of Julie Bauke.

Favorite podcast to start the day!
Iā€™ve been listening to this podcast for almost 8 years - itā€™s my favorite podcast to start the day when Iā€™m getting ready for work! Completely unbiased reporting & great coverage of national/global stories of the day. Thanks for all you do & for being unbiased in the delivery, itā€™s refreshing.

    Covid, Covid, covidā€¦.
I use to love this show. Listened to it every morning for probably 10 years. As others have stated this shows content has gotten more biased and left leaning. Covid was obviously a concern for a long time but please MOVE on!!!

    Incomplete context
I have been a long time subscriber to this podcast. Today I disconnected my listening status. The most recent concern that I listened to was a misrepresentation of the challenges around the supreme court. Like other recent reviews, I see this podcast becoming less unbiased and for more slanted in its approach to reporting. Iā€™ve always liked Gordon, Mike, and Jennifer. I was listening in back to the days of Gina and the other Mike (Marijuana Mikeā€¦). I find this podcast no longer satisfies my desire for unbiased and authentic reporting. They are fun to listen to, but the stories are incomplete and not critically accurate.

    Leaning left, left bias
Gordon and Jen clearly have left bias and still talks about bad Trump, still talks about Jan 6, and panders to the left. Donā€™t waist your time on this trashy show.

    Great show!
Iā€˜ve been listening for a long time. I always enjoy the fresh perspective.

    Really enjoy this show
You get a good coverage of news stories. A little banter, some lighter stories for balance and all the headlines. First podcast I listen to in the morning.

Jennifer Kushinkaā€™s failure to investigate facts
November 6, 2020 Jennifer Kushinka made a false statement on the basis that the claims of voter fraud made by President Trump are baseless. This being wrong on its face I will direct her to the fact. Fact, US Customs and Border Protection Agents arrested Brandon Wilson, on November 3, 2020 at 19:30hrs at the US Canada Peace Bridge Border crossing. Mr. Wilson was found with 800 undelivered pieces of mail in the trunk of his car according to the ā€œThe Buffalo Newsā€. Fact, James Okeefe at Project Veritas on November 5, 2020, documented at ProjectVeritas.com and on their YouTube channel interview two USPS whistleblower employees directed to pick up and back date ballots on November 4, 2020. I am seriously disappointed in the conduct of false statements made by Kushinka and the conduct of Compass Media Network which I have been listening to Gordon Deal since 2005.

    Has gone way downhill
Over the years this news program has gone downhill. It used to be a more professional news program focused on facts. Itā€™s turned more into news entertainment, with to much rhetoric. Gordon Deal frequently expresses his personal opinionā€™s, which make him seem dated and out of touch. Not very professional.

    No longer tied to WSJ
I didnā€™t realizeThis show was no longer tied to Wall Street Journal. It explains something about personal opinions sneaking in to the broadcast. I have been listening to the show for a long time and generally like it but itā€™s becoming unlistenable lately and I canā€™t wait for it to get to the end so I can listen to other podcasts. Still Gordon and Mike are very good guys to listen to in the morning. Thank you

    Canā€™t take the ads anymore...
Iā€™ve listened since the show split from the WSJ. The show has always had ads but recently they have been so thoroughly woven into the program I canā€™t take it anymore! How about fewer ads that pay you more? That wouldnā€™t be so abusive to the audience. Anyway meanwhile Iā€™m Un-subbing.

This Morning has Lost its Way
I listened to This Morning with Gordon Deal six days a week for many years and over time, the show has suffered. From gimmicky ā€˜countdownsā€™ (ā€œThe three things you need to knowā€) to the ā€œMike Dropā€ and awful repetitive commercials (Grainger, Blinkist, Kronos, Michigan), I just cannot listen to this ā€˜Groundhogs Dayā€™ any longer. I also question the boast of the show. Several people have referenced its ā€˜conservative appealā€™; however, when your interviewed are from ABC, Politico, Wall Street Journal, etc., I am more inclined to think that you are biased to the left. If you wanted diversity, interview a variety of sources. Gordon Deal is a good personality and is very interactive on Twitter.
  • bmwonchrome
Great news source w a bit of fun
I really appreciate how it takes a fact based approach to reporting news, and largely avoids commenting on those facts. If you want a liberal or conservative interpretation of the news, go to CNN or Fox. If you just want to know the facts of the major stories, this is a great way to start the day. Plus they also give you some lighthearted and funny stories as well.

Three things? No, thereā€™s only ONE.
I enjoy the three (and sometimes 4) primary voices of Gordon Dealā€™s This Morning. I enjoy hearing ā€œthe newsā€ sans the ā€œcry-baby/holier-than-thouā€ remarks heard on some other networks. But I hate being told there are ā€œthree things I need to know! I suggest, there is ONE thing you need to know: I am a customer. Stop counting for me, just tell me the news, I can manage organizing for myself.
  • jbris29
    Hate the Kronos commercials!
Dropping my rating from 5 to 3...the news is fantastic but the commercials are so off putting for the past 4-6 months, I skip through the podcast and keep my phone ready for the second a Kronos commercial comes on. And whatā€™s with the game show effects and ā€œMike dropā€ lingo? Not loving that new twist either.

Last three minutes of podcast missing today
Other than that I love this podcast.

    Long time listener
I have listened to this podcast for years. Unfortunately, this pod has become very, very conservative but tries to hide that with the guests it has on. Still a pretty good source for morning news. Please become more balanced. You NEVER have a Democratic voice on your air.

    Long time listener - Goodbye
The quality of the Wall Street Journal has declined significantly. I can no longer listen or read such poor effort! Goodbye to the idoit management group guided by the bias owners! Two years ago I spent $300+ for Wall Street Journal narrative, Today it is $0. Feels good

    Every Morning, Every Day
This is normally the first podcast I listen to when getting started in the morning.
  • smarmboy
    Audio levels
I donā€™t think this show has an audio technician watching levels - every telephone interview is TWICE AS LOUD as the interviewer. Super irritating!!! Wake up WSJThis AM!!! Listen to your own show!!
  • ChristlovesU
    The best!!
This is the best morning show available on Podcasts hands down in my opinion. Gordon, Jennifer and Mike are pros and have been doing this for so long that they make you feel like your morning is incomplete without their reporting. Insightful, smart, humorous and to the point. Great every single day! Love them!
  • PaHiker
    My first of the day
This is always the first podcast I listen every day, I only wish it was the full broadcast and not just the first hour. My only other problem (request) is that they give the date at the start of the podcast. When I travel I canā€™t always get the days podcast, so when I get to an area with WiFi I download a stream them, knowing what day it is really helps. Especially since Appleā€™s lasted update, sometimes the app picks up podcasts that I have already heard (takes a while to be sure itā€™s an old on).

Great info but Terrible Audio Quality
Gordon, Jennifer and the rest of the on air staff do a great job. But the audio quality of the guest reporters that phone in is so bad! It makes it very difficult to listen to. If they are in the field gathering news and writing pieces can't they find a land line for crying out loud? They must call in on cell phones because their audio is over saturated, muffled, has poor dynamic range, etc. It is really distracting to listen to. Otherwise thumbs up :)

    I love this show
I discovered this show by mistake while living aboard. It was always my go to podcast everyday. I returned to the States and completely forgot about this podcast. Got up early one morning and found out that this show that makes it this podcast was on my local station. That morning at work is when I downloaded the podcast and itā€™s been on every morning since. I love the podcast. Gordon... Stay cranky my friend!

    Entire Format
This podcast has become much too much liberal for my likings! Also has way too many commercials. I have been a long time listener.

    My morning update
Just what I am looking for in the morning. A quick update on what is happening in the world.
  • JakeStarlite
    Has become very right-leaning
I used to enjoy this podcast, but the reports, comments, questions and contributors are now blatantly right-wing. It would be much better if it remained neutral and/or balanced.

    News with just enough personality
Gordon is a master. I've listened to this podcast (used to be WSJ This Morning) for probably 8-9 years consistently, every morning. Great way to get the facts, latest news, and enough personality from Gordon to keep it fresh. Keep going Gordon!

    Must listen
I have four podcasts that I must start my day with, every day. This is one of them. They do a great job of providing not only up-to-the-minute news, but also interesting topical pieces. I find it to be an entertaining program, as well.
  • LynnS321
    No podcast available
I love this podcast and I listen to it every morning - well, at least when it is available. Please sort out the dowloading issue to iTunes. I have already communicated this issue to the WSJ. Many days the podcast is not available in the morning! Thank you, Lynn

    America's First Newa
Don't bother with cable TV or NPR in the morning just tune to Gordon and team for the morning headlines and more. I find myself telling people about stories I heard on AFN all day long. They have great reporters as guests a go deeper than just sound bites. For those wanting it earlier, you probably don't know that the show is carried by 100's of radio stations across the country who don't want to pay for a show that can be heard for free without commercials at the same time. My station carries it at 4am, plenty early for any early bird.
  • LesMcP
    Best news podcast around
Smart, witty, and informative, @GordonDeal and team deliver every single day. No spin, no pontification, just the facts. And done with some fun. The absolute best.
  • JeffKelley
    Not WSJ
The most disappointing part of the podcast is the audio quality of any "guests". They seem so amateur, background noise, um, oh, and hearing them breathing into the microphones. Poor quality.
