LoopyLueA Wonderful Audio DramaI love a good character-driven drama, and Small Victories is a great one. Between an enchanting cast and some incredibly well-written scripts, this is a pick you can’t go wrong with!

OPJelloQueenAmazing WritingSometimes when I start a podcast people feel… unnatural. Overly trope-y and one dimensional. There is none of that in this show. Right off the back the characters and their backgrounds are full of life and animation. I was immediately sucked in and adored each and every one. The story is heartfelt and makes you feel annoyed as a friend because as dumb as the decisions are… they’re real decisions the characters have to work through. And that goes for each character. And you hope their cast of friends and loved ones help each other along the way. Absolutely amazing work by the writers, editors, directors, and last but not least the cast. Everyone in this project should be so proud of the outcome.

Finding PattersbySlice of Life Heartbreak HumorAt least once an episode I'll relate super hard to the thought process of Marisol even though we come from different worlds. My favorite thing about the storytelling here is how the tone is always hopeful even as it careeens into dangerville. Oddly makes me think of Better Call Saul as navigated by someone in recovery. POP IN...POP OUT!

GoodPointeInstantly HookedI don’t know that I’ve ever been hooked by a podcast or a character as quickly as I have with Marisol and Small Victories. Anyone who has ever struggled with addiction will be able to feel the hopeful truth of Marisol’s words, expertly laced with brilliant and biting subtext. Small Victories knows when to be blunt and when to be cutting, and the dialogue is always sharp and on point. The Pilot episode made me laugh out loud at 7am, clap to myself in an empty living room and instantly care about the journey the protagonist was about to endure. Give the first episode a listen and I guarantee you’ll be hooked.
