Ruining 2 great legacies

As a fan of both these guys careers I sure hope they stop doing this podcast soon before they ruin the comedic legacies that they both built individually. This is pretty much unlistenable

Generally, the interviews are spectacular. Especially the old SNL cast. Then, you’re listening to them making sound effects and watching Tik Tok which is mind numbing. Hot and cold.

I know that I am late to the party - but if you like to get an inside look at showbiz - this the podcast for you! I have been watching SNL since it premiered in the late 70s and am riveted by all the stories! To put icing on the cake - Dana and David Spade are VERY funny, and have great chemistry! Please don’t stop - keep em coming. This podcast adds just the right amount of fun to my week!

I generally like these two and tend to like most of their work, so I figured I’d like this podcast but it’s not good. I can’t ever make it through an entire episode. I’ve tried multiple times but I had to give up.

Love it! ALWAYS makes me laugh but can the guests talk?

Great show. Funny and smart. Please don’t ever stop saying “Helloooo” when Jon Lovitz’s name is mentioned! Kills me everytime. I just wish they’d let the guests talk more. It gets overwhelming when everyone is talking at once.

In These Times, This Show is So Needed

It’s a breathe of fresh air hearing Carvey and Spade on their own show. Besides being great interviewers, these guys are still very funny and current. I hope they bring Walken on one day. I can’t get enough of Carvey’s Dennis Miller impressions.

As someone who watched SNL since the beginning this podcast is right up my alley. Dana and David have great chemistry and are wonderful with or without guests. I love when they do impressions of Lorne Michaels. I highly recommend this podcast!

Good podcast, but lay off the crackpot ufo guests

An excellent podcast about comedy, the business of, and the hosts have endearing banter along with great stories. But boy when they veer into the conspiracy stuff, esp that trauma doctor who is somehow a uf expert with no actual relevant or credentials…it made me wonder why these two smart guys can’t recognize that charlatans trade on the absence of proof whereas actual experts do so with facts.

Best episode ever on fly in the wall is the Dennis Miller interview. Hysterical, the guy is smart. You guys really click please invite him back. I love the fact that there was no discussion of political issues on that episode because it probably would’ve ruined it.

What a waste of time. I know Dana’s a sci-fi fan but to allow this guy to bloviate unchallenged for what felt like hours is infuriating. I certainly hope you offer an apology when 30 days pass and there’s no monumental revelation. This is not what I’m looking for in this podcast. Frankly it’s embarrassing you even posted this episode.

Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh My! Just listened to the recent interview with Greer on Superfly #47. The good doctor is, I suspect, mentally ill. There are more holes in his story that you’ll find on a screen door. Not pleased he’s been given a platform to attract and inflame the gullible, even under the guise of “good fun”

That Was Depressing!

I was really looking forward to a podcast with these two, but they do not deliver. This is not a comedy podcast. The only time I laughed was when they did ads, but just because they are so bad at them. A recurring segment of the show is just them reacting to YouTube videos. I was not laughing with them, I was laughing at them. Dana sounds like he’s not in very good health. He stutters a lot and struggles to do his impressions. I don’t think David has ever attempted to be funny. He’s there to play the straight guy like he always does and talk about his hair. Remember what Lorne said- you have to go away so people can miss you.

Just started listening. Fun to listen. Dana is awesome. David is great but he always sounds somewhat disgusted with everything. But the Mike Meyers episode was truly moving. He is incredible in so many ways. His story of George Harrison touched me deeply. I was a huge fan. Lots of other good episodes. I love to laugh so this is my favorite podcast.

Hit and miss, mostly miss with Spade.

This podcast is week to week for me depending on who the guest is. Spade adds zero value, he can’t properly ask questions nor can he record the ads without sounding completely bored out of his mind.

Does Dana mispronounce peoples names on purpose? It’s McKinnon not Maginnon. There’s others and it’s super annoying
