    Can you please do more?
We need you and you know that’s the truth. Not many doing the truth like you. So, please- I need something to sip my coffee to at 5am so I can exercise and then be a sane-ish human. bless.

Love this podcast and of course the show
I only wish there was a companion podcast for the entire series. I’m still not done watching the final season because I can’t handle the idea of no more Better Things. Yes, I’m funny like that. My most favorite introduction to any show, ever, was season 4 episode 1, Steady Rain. It’s a love letter to LA and to the home Sam shares with her daughters. I’ve got nearly zero in common with Sam, except being a single mom, feminist. Oh and having a child (children) that is trying to help me with pronouns. This is a tv show I will watch again.

    Pamela Adlon
I wish I could tell Pamela Adlon how much she means to me. I just love her so much. Her work Better Things has changed me as a person. The show made me stop and consider how the women in my own family treat each other, and my relationship with my mother. It hit me so hard I am obsessed with watching the series over and over. Pamela I just love you and your work so much. The episode Robin is my favorite, it was an ice pack to my balls. I wish more than I should that the series didn’t end. I can’t wait to soak up your next adventure!

    I love Pamela!!!!
This podcast is an absolute MUST - for fans and non-fans alike. It’s funny and entertaining and anyone with a soul will enjoy. You get to know more about Jupiter’s (Pam Adlon) awesome personality and just devour all of the banter with the guests. It’s so great! The tv show is soo full of heart and soul and it’s a privilege to be able to hear the creator discuss it with us. We’re blessed to live in a time when this is possible. I recommend this to everyone but especially if you like the Better Things show. Can we PLEASE get a podcast for ALL of the other seasons too?????? I absolutely love Pamela Adlon! I’m so thankful that the Better Things show happened and came into my life. I’m so thankful that it ended up with Pamela taking the wheel because she made it what it was. She is the reason I love that show so very much. It speaks to my soul. I watch it over and over again on repeat - thank god we’re in the age of streaming so that I can obsess over this show properly! Haha I absolutely was not ready to say goodbye to the Better Things tv show. I was so sad when I realized that season 5 would be the last season. I was so relieved to find this show, this mom, this woman who made it all a beautiful story for us to take part in for so many episodes. I relate so much to Sam (Pamela) and now I’m so very thankful again because this podcast is a thing. Pamela is the kind of mother, woman, and adult I want to be. Rarely do you get to see someone as real as Pamela. I hope this podcast keeps going and going. I can’t ever get enough of Pamela! I hope she graces us with her fantasticness for many more years to come.

    Not Ready to Say Goodbye
I love Better Things so much I am now rewatching it with my daughter. When I watched it the first time & realized I was watching the next to last episode of season 5 I started to cry & said to no one “I’m not ready”. And then I watched the final episode & literally cried through the whole thing. It was so spectacular! I walked around for days singing “always look on the bright side of life”. I believe there’s a good chance that from now on whenever I hear that song I will get fer klempt. Thank you Pamela Adlon. I thing you are fantastic! I love you❣️

    Authentic, Emotional, Hilarious, and Heartwarming
You don’t have to watch “Better Things” on FX/Hulu to enjoy this podcast; though I highly recommend you do! Pamela and her guests discuss the ins and outs of the show and also just life in general. Her emotional range and hilarious authentic self shine through and will make you smile and laugh out loud. It’s like a glass of whiskey or cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter’s day curled up by the fireplace. A beautiful trip down memory lane. Thank you Pamela and thanks to your guests…especially Nana! I am very happy you will be continuing this podcast past the ending of your show. Toi,Toi,Toi!!! Much love, Liz

    Amazing
I LOVE this podcast. The show is like no other I’ve seen and the podcast gives us a peek behind the crazy scenes. Pamela in the last episode you say people will forget the robot song because so much else is presented after. Not so! I have gone back to that so many times to watch it from a technical, aspect, from how it celebrates Duke and just because it is a fascinating song dropped in at a unique moment. I love the podcast and the show.

Funny, heartfelt, and very entertaining. I’ve watched Better Things since the beginning and I have enjoyed every moment. Pamela Adlon is a genius at storytelling and directing. Recommended the show to family and friends. Loved the episode with her mom. The podcast is a perfect addition to a memorable show. ✨

    Yeah Podcast!
I loved this show and Season 5 was remarkable. Ephemera was perfect and scary. I am a mental health professional and was so worried about Duke. I’m going to listen to that podcast after finishing England. Thanks for Galaxy Song.

    This podcast gives me life
I love every aspect of this show from the writing and acting to the set decorations, and tons of references that are like “Easter eggs”. Listening to your voice, Pamela, and the other beloved actors, tell us about the behind the scenes gives me life. That Finale episode was a tour de force and now that ep 509 podcast (finally 😉) dropped. I can’t wait to savor every last drop of the Finale podcast. Please keep ‘em coming by going back to season one and featuring your favorite episodes of the past !!!

    I loved this show!
I discovered this show on Hulu and move over Mrs. Maisel, Sam Fox was the best Jewish mother on TV! I am so sad that this show has ended. I loved watching her cook... feeding the souls of her family and friends. I loved watching her daughters grow up. I hope someday in the future there will be a reunion so we can find out what happened to these characters! Pamela Adlon - I can't wait to see what you do next!

    So much love for Jupiter!
I’m late to the party, I must’ve seen Better Things on Hulu but overlooked it, didn’t see much promo for it. I’ve seen Pamela in Californication and Louie and always liked her, but then I was watching Human Resources (Big Mouth Spin-off), looked her up from there and then saw the Better Things podcast advertised… from there I knew I had to binge. Got all caught up right before the last couple episodes of the final season. I love how real she feels on the show and that you can tell she’s just like her character in real life... The podcast has so many disclaimers but it’s definitely better being familiar with the show and all the episodes first and then listening.

    Best show ever!

Love your show!!! Your show is so authentic . I enjoyed watching every episode (many times) and have learned a lot as well. I wish it wasn’t coming to and end. Thank you so much for giving us five wonderful seasons of “Better Things”.

I’m your biggest fan because “Sam” is my personality twin!! Will miss your face and deep exhales with gruff noise!! And also!! I love all on the show! Each and every one ! I did! Also notice the “Better Things” in the coolest places when the show would break away! Brilliant!!

What I really want to know…
Love the show, but I am a genealogist. I saw the episode of Finding Your Roots and what I really want to know is how did your mom’s meeting with your newly found Aunt Gloria go? I hope really well! Your tree pales in comparison to the crazy in mine, starting with connecting my adopted to my biological, completely random.
  • TibbiS
    A perfect after show podcast
My only complaint is it wasn’t done for all the seasons. I love the behind the scenes info and the talking with people from the show is amazing.
  • mahayahahhaha
I don’t want it to end.
Thank you Pamela 🙏🏼 for some of the best art I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I’m going to cry very hard when the last episode airs.
  • LDtennis88
    Love the podcast and show!
I love all the inside scoop of the final season. It’s fascinating to hear the behind the scenes stories as they deconstruct each episode. I love this show so much and the podcast makes me feel like I have a front row seat as each episode was made. Love you, Pamela!

    Uneven
This is my favorite TV series, perhaps of all time. However, the podcast is uneven. The best episodes stay on topic and are really interesting! The least best episodes, or parts of episodes, sound like two stoned people who are cracking each other up but who aren’t funny to anyone outside the room.

Adore Adlon but who checked the levels?
I’m sure taming a dynamic vocal talent like Pamela Adlon is a challenge, but the deafening contrast between thundering show clips and the sometimes whispered comments is excruciating. Carlos, brother, please work your limiting/compressing/ audio engineering magic so we don’t have to sprint to our volume buttons to save our ears. The conversations are stellar but mic discipline is lax so when she deep throats it with a yell I’m in pain. Making this right will be tedious, maybe show an intern how and let them earn their keep. The content is fascinating, like sitting with friends for a drink, sharing behind-the-scenes details the show deserves.
  • Sad fan SF
    Five stars all around, almost.
Love the show, love Pamela, but I’m sorry, the unequalized volume is sometimes excruciating. It will not deter me.

Like listening to Redemption Song or Tangled Up in Blue
This show is truly a work of art. When I watch it’s like throwing on my favorite hoodie or horror blanket- comforting and warm, and allowing me to be with my own thoughts. Sometimes when I watch it takes longer awhile to get through an episode because something I’ve just seen triggers me to write- and dude!- that’s the stuff I wanna do too.

    I’m going through a tough time…
And the only thing that makes me feel better is to hear the humanity and warmth in Pamela Adlon’s voice. I just finished all episodes of the show and now I’m so grateful that I have this podcast as well. Thank you Pamela! I cannot wait to see what comes next!
  • AprilinAustin
Best show for the female experience, hands down!
You and I are roughly the same age and it seems that each time I’m grappling with something your show is covering it. Watching Better Things is like hanging out with your best girlfriend and talking about life. Life is mundane but Sam makes it fun. And meaningful. And beautiful. Sam is who I would want to be if I had kids. And the cooking is beautiful. Sam cooks the way I cook, soulfully. This show is an absolute love letter to women over 45. We aren’t obsolete, we are prime, wise, strong and looking for meaningful experiences. Xoxo. We need more of this.

    Thank you for this podcast!
I love Better Things so much; and getting to hear Goddess Pamela talk through the episodes is like having a best friend tell me secrets.
