Even in today’s “everyone can be a podcaster” culture, this is not good. I won’t even comment on the subject matter—people will agree or disagree with the host’s takes on the topics at hand. But the presentation itself is not compelling, entertaining, nor humorous so it got boring fast, though I did listen to the 3 most recent podcasts in their entirety. My conclusion is that the host just isn’t very good on the mic, and that is a big problem. The other issue I had was that I just don’t believe the host. I don’t think he truly cares about improving education in Maine; it seems to me that he is far more interested in being an inflammatory firebrand so that he can gather attention for this podcast. He strikes me as a phony opportunist and that lack of credibility was a giant turnoff. I tried. I do agree with the host at times but overall I found it unlistenable and won’t be back.

But that app was glitching. Great to know what’s going on in public schools in Maine. Oof. I’m confused by all the one-star reviews as those reviewers don’t seem to have listened to the show. Perhaps they are unionized public school teachers review-bombing the show. Oh well, their loss.

This is a must for the Un woke parents in Maine who need to understand what garbage Maine is teaching our kids. Don’t let the other foolish reviewers sway you. This is a must!

If you can get over the host’s grating voice and cadence, you’re left with poorly researched rants you could find in many other corners of the internet. It seems he desperately wants to be relevant to the cultural conversation but just isn’t. I was hoping for a nuanced take on the problems in our education system but this ain’t it
