LibrariesaremylifeI would love it even more if I could pay for ad freeBut I do love KC and her book and all her work.

VertigoVirgoMind OpeningI was just looking for a random new podcast…I wasn’t intentionally looking for this type of help but I like a variety of what I listen to. So that fact that I randomly clicked this and it relates to my current struggle with my husband and I. Him and I both have Bipolar and ADHD…but we have different functioning struggles. I can comfortably stretch myself super thin and care for everyone and don’t require a ton of “me time” and I don’t have an addictive personality so when I’m done with something I just drop it. My husband on the other hand requires a lot of “me time” and needs to reset more often and has an addictive personality. I can also ignore the mess of our kids until I can really get to it properly, but he goes and cleans it right away and gets frustrated when the kids mess it up right away. So finding this balance to help us both out has been amazing. We are starting to better understand each others highs and lows.

thegamerLThank youAs a 19 year old who has just been diagnosed with autism and is struggling to get her adult on thank you ❤️

jncole5432Gentle feedbackLove this show and KC, AND would really like KC to work on listening more than talking with guests. Or separate the episode of her opinions from the episode interviewing guests. Especially in the most recent episode (beyond fragility). The guest contribution is limited because KC is telling them about their own work. I’m sure it’s adhd related, but inhibition is a skill that can be practiced and improved!

ShayLiv3I’m Always Learning!I love how KC has a variety of topics and guests, I feel like she really strives to know others perspectives. I appreciate the one about Special Education. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this episode! So many parents don’t know their rights and how to advocate for their children with disabilities, at no fault to them, it is a difficult and sometimes daunting process! This is so encouraging to hear, I love how KC is able to empower those that need it the most 💕

Jewel HohmanReal Advice with Real life Experience!KC does a great job bringing her own experiences into the podcast to make it super relatable and helpful!

Debler101I am not morally flawed!KC's Ted Talk (and later book/social media/podcast) changed years of self-shaming about my messiness. I tried so hard. Read every organization book. Got diagnosed w ADHD. Constant conflict w ex-husband bc he was neat. Churchy people saying that "Jesus was not being glorified" in my home and my kids will be embarrassed to have friends over. Funny we were always the house with ALL the kids over. Got out of that group, thank Buddha! 😆 KC's content put a pin in all that shame and I do my best in little chunks. Funny that my house is actually more functional. Meds help more now without the shame holding me Back. 👍💕

desertflower01Please let guest shareKC’s ideas are nothing short of revolutionary in a social media space where type A’s dominate and are revered. For myriad reasons so many of us struggle with care tasks and KC has created a whole new discussion and perspective to help us. But speaking of dominating, KC as a podcast host overwhelms her guests with her own stories and thoughts. If you’ve followed her socials, you know her stories and you know her systems. The podcast is not the place for these anecdotes to be rehashed repetitively. KC, just work on those interviewing skills, good listening, and follow up questions and your podcast will be as good as your other platforms and writings.

Badpony76So helpful! This is the most helpful ADHD advice I’ve had .

KBMCG123Funny and useful“It’s giving … health bro to alt right pipeline” gave me a full laugh I didn’t know I needed. Love this show

Yos at WorkThe addition of Emily made this a perfect podcastI already loved the topics and information Kacey shared on this podcast. But adding Emily as CD is SO smart. Can’t wait for all the magic these two brilliant women will make together. And so glad Emily doesn’t have to work for The Weakest Link: Copy Writers Edition

JimFull of itLife givingThis podcast has given me so many healthy ways to think about myself and those around me. Thank you!!

Meg Reynolds1983Love the eve rodsky episode!I really enjoyed the eve rodsky episode! I like what you said about women being interesting and how being forced to be a housewife and only that really robs women and therefore the relationship. I also like the episode about home decor!! It was so validating! I feel so much pressure to have an insta/magnolia style home and it was so nice to let go of only one “correct” way to decorate and organize your home!! Would love to hear more about this!!
-
sarahsawyer23Super helpful content!I really loved the content of the latest episode! Such a great overarching message with helpful practical tips too. Unfortunately I had to stop listening because of the guest’s distracting (bracelet?) sounds every time she talked. Such a shame because this was a REALLY great episode!

meycar46Possible Follow-Up EpisodeK.C. I love that this show challenges my way of thinking. I really appreciate the latest episode “Best of Executive Functioning …” because it gave me a better understanding of what my wife and kids struggle with. I was wondering if you’d be willing to do a follow-up episode on how to teach kids some of the skills to circumnavigate their executive function challenges. How do you talk to teens about implementing some of those skills, letting them have more autonomy in their daily lives, and merging their ideas with my own ideas and ways of functioning as a parent. Thanks for the content, and daily challenges. - Carrie

EEJ19Great Pod!This podcast has been a game changer for me in my own journey of mental health. My only criticism/feedbac: sometimes KC dominates the conversation. Give more space for the interviewee to speak.
-
$eymourSimonToo much consumerism/product placement.Too much consumerism/product placement.
-
KelsiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiLove KC and all her content!I spread everything I learn from KC and her guests to people I know will benefit from her information, even on my own podcast I reference this pod and KC all the time! Thank you for being great, putting up with the trolls and doing this for the people who need it!
-
Sh96!Love, but have some feedbackI love the content of the podcast and find it really applicable and helpful to my struggles. Just some feedback: the balance of conversation between the host and guest skews very heavily towards the host KC in a way that makes it feel at times they are dominating the conversation.

Jen LangiJaw dropped.I’ve never written a podcast review. ADHD law firm owner woman of color first generation college woman here! I just finished the Color of Tasks episode and I am so blown away by the history of moralizing a woman’s role in keeping house with unseen labor of black women and other women of color. I’ve struggled with feeling so inadequate because my house is messy - to the point that I minimize all my ridiculous professional accomplishments. I loved this. At the end of the day, we need to support each other in the choices we make in how we relate to our stuff. I cannot express how moving this conversation was. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
-
anti-racist politicsSuper practicalAs a neurotypical mom with three people with ADHD in the house, KC’s podcast really gives me perspective on how to support them and practical solutions to issues like time blindness and so many other challenges. Well worth a listen!

Lizzie orskiBinge worthy! Finally gave the podcast a listen and now can’t stop!

KelsListensCan’t Get EnoughI’m just so stinking thankful for this. I feel like I have a better grasp on how to treat myself and the people around me (spoiler alert: with compassion)

Jyoti006Self-Compassion Through Home CareI love this podcast… I think I heard of KC’s book from someone on social media or saw it listed as an alternative to a buddhist cleaning book I was searching for. It gives me exactly what I need to keep learning how to care for myself by inviting my home to support me. I look forward to Mondays because I know that’s the day when I can hear your voice again! <3 —Survivor of neglect by a parent who was an alcoholic and addict and did not live to see my 25th birthday _/\_

MC1920MehIt would be better if most of her solutions didn’t involve buying things. I guess it’s sound advice. Laundry got you down? Buy 4 sets of sheets and mattress protectors. Problem solved? Idk. If you get anything from this show, it’s that you should give yourself grace and think outside the box for solutions.
-
bendy fiddleFun and compassionateI learn things from this pod even when it’s not a topic I thought would apply to me. So helpful to take a new look at things and situations I’ve always blamed myself for not being good at. KC has so much respect for neurodiversity and just plain overwhelmedness.
-

Ariso07Help for struggling womenI can’t say how much KC has helped me. This podcast has covered so much I had to learn the hard way. It really is a lifesaver for working moms like me and those struggling with trauma, mental illness, or just the ups and downs of life.
-
jesshainesGreat podcast, love the host!I found KC through TikTok and read her book “How to keep house while drowning.” She’s saved my life. Well, my home life that is. I’m a new mom and recently discovered I have ADHD and before discovering, I always felt like I was failing. Her book changed my outlook! Her perspective helped me so much and I love all of her content. I have listened to all of her episodes so far and will continue to be listening! Thank you KC! You are helping so many people!

StitchinwrightGrace & ToolboxesI started following KC on Tik Tok and was thrilled to learn she had a podcast. Her no nonsense approach to self care, struggle care, and doing life has added so much to my toolbox of resources & I am forever grateful for the grace she allows us all to have while we figure out our own versions of functional.
-
Ella and the animalsLove KC!Great to listen to, great tips and tricks. Have followed her for awhile and learned so much. My only negative is it’s a little too sped up. I have trouble processing what she’s saying at times bc it her voice is moving so fast.
-
mmoatsKC Davis is…REAL.Authentic, real, and relatable to every day life and relationships. I have ADHD and I struggle. Every podcast gives me some nugget to take away and apply to my life.
-
Instauser82Modern day philosophyEasily the most thought provoking show out there. Every episode is different and listening to KC’s mind work is a pleasure.
-
Sex is supposed to be funGreat info!I wish she would let her guests talk more about their expertise and less stories about her own life. Especially when she is interviewing a person with a high level of expertise in a subject matter. The information is all so great and I enjoy it very much
-
MisBella80Such a relief…to know I’m not alone as I struggle to do “the daily.” I feel seen and heard in the very best ways with every listen and I am so grateful for the practical advice and helpful input from KC and guests. Thank you!!!!
-
Kathy ThurstonI adore KC DavisAlways exactly what I need to hear! And I cherish How To Keep House While Drowning!
-
BlueCelt08Help without judgementA podcast to help people who are struggling with managing their daily lives and caring for themselves. I love the name - struggle care.
-
ardensnow42Great podcast… not great Ad placementReally enjoyed my first episode of this podcast. However, I didn’t love of the “ad” felt like it was part of the podcast and part of a suggestion for a better sleep routine. Especially since the company the ad was for is quite high priced. I also have bedding from this company and wouldn’t want people to think they need as part of advice given in a podcast. Would prefer ads before the podcast starts.
-
akwheelsWe needed this!!!She’s not afraid to talk about the things that a lot of people struggle with. Yes, is hard to brush your teeth sometimes. I needed this to make me realize how depressed I get, how I avoid going to the dentist. Please keep being yourself! Love your TikToks.
-
lsmithadhdInsightful!Literally had three “ah-ha!” moments in the first ten minutes of the first episode. If you or someone you love experiences neurodivergence, this podcast will give you lots of wisdom, insight and understanding.
-
StaceyAndreaSuper Revolutionary. Life Changing.KC Davis’ perspective is exactly what is needed in the self-help space. As a mom with ADHD as well as a physical disability, I need this. She is helping me learn to give myself grace and find ways time function within my limitations. I’m so grateful for this podcast.
-
pmethrExcellentReally informative podcast. The host and guests are intelligent and compassionate. Highly recommend.
-
unicorn h0rnsCompellingIm surprised how much I like this podcast. Helped me w self acceptance and dealing with every day shame that has been ingrained in us. The host focuses on the how, rather than platitudes. It’s like a really good therapy session. But entertaining.
-
JuliMc1231Love!I love this podcast and KC's TikTok and the book. Even recommended my therapist follow you, and she did, so you're actually part of my therapy now! Also, this is killing me: is your theme song part of Adam Lambert's "Whataya Want From Me"?
-
C.BadgerPermission to exist ❤️As dramatic as it may sound, KC has changed my life. Realizing how much a sense of morality is indoctrinated into me to mold my behavior, perspective, and environment to fit within a truly unattainable set of paradoxical expectation where boundaries between acceptable and unacceptable are both arbitrary AND empirical. She has given me the language to give myself permission to exist as I am, and transitively I am able to do the same for my partner, child, and everyone else in my life. Thank you KC
-
Charity 1990The podcast I needThis podcast has such amazing information. KC is a warm, funny, and intelligent host and the conversations with the people interviewed is engaging so much that the time flies by. Great for people who are trying to learn how to be better without shame.
