MB in AlabamaSTOP COMPLAININGHow is it that so many people find it easier to complain than they do to focus on the reason this Podcast exists? “Too many ads, app is too hard to use, how do I know where to start!” Jeez-O-Peet people. For those that would rather not hear the ads, simply hit the fast forward button. For those that don’t know where to start, how about starting in Genesis 1 and set your place by hitting “Unplayed,” for those that complain about the app, you’re just looking for something to complain about. The Bible In A Year is incredible because of the message it delivers and that’s all it needs to make it an incredible opportunity for anyone that commits themselves to hearing God’s word. Stop complaining.

YclijtAds galoreAds galore. Sorry Still searching for a non catholic Bible in a year comparable to Fr Mikes!?
-
AikenDrum33Bible in a YearThe stories are cool—if you can find them. Not much in support of a functional Bible in a Year program. It’s not intuitive to find and it starts in October (?)…also, it’s hard to keep track of where you’re at or how many episodes you’re supposed to listen to in a day. For the price these people ask, you’d think this would be something that seeks you out….Ascention’s is free and considerably more organized. I could do without the chaos of this app.

KidFromBigDCould do betterThe advertising load is 40% of the podcast. And when the 60% of content plays, it is a dramatic re-telling of the Bible, not a faithful reading of the text. Lastly Jack Graham’s voice is AI synthesized meaning he doesn’t even participate! No thanks

Chad in OhioThank You!This podcast by Pastor Graham is such a blessing to my life. Thank you for providing this amazing resource!

-
Djcoak6071I used to love thisThe number of ads is just insane. If you have CH ministries as a sponsor then why is almost 50% of this podcast ads?
-

dmg1313What a blessing! These stories are brought to life with such detail. Thank you for bringing Gods word to so many in such a simple form.

HalfDozenPlusOneWay too many ads! There are so many Bible-in-a-Year apps, there’s no reason to listen to this podcast where almost half of each episode is ads. I like Jack Graham, but two episodes were enough for me.
-
Host~ The Cherie Rickard ShowIncredible Biblical TeachingThis podcast is my 1st go-to! As a podcast host myself it’s so important to have this platform to spread the word of God and Jack Graham does a fantastic job!! Thank you 🙏🏼 for inspiring and teaching me daily! Cherie Rickard (The Cherie Rickard Show) ❤️

pissedkffjoeTruthI truly enjoy these dramatized retellings of these biblical events. I’m ok with liberties that are taken to make the events exiting because they are not distorting the biblical truths. I am so happy I found this site and this is how I go to sleep at night now.

RGP is awsomeThank youThank you so much!!!!! These days it’s so hard to find reliable sources to listen to the Bible!! Thank you so much for your hard work and determination!!!!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Paul & PITALove this! When I get up in the morning to get ready, I turn to this podcast first thing. It helps me get motivated for my day and for further reading / studying of the Bible. The retelling of the stories is energetic and brings light to God’s word on how things did occur. Whomever the narrator is, love his voice!

Brian1975$&@Way too many Ads!I’ve been listening to this podcast for awhile but have seen the time spent in ads is getting to be too much!
-
tiffani76Love this appI really enjoy this app, makes listening to the Bible easier.
-
Sg2313In a yearDon’t really understand how it’s in a year. When there’s not a new episode everyday.
-
Yomills50Bible in a year Jack GrahamI am listening to Bible in a Year with Jack Graham on the podcast and I fell in love, but I do not see new episodes. I’ve listened to April 29 twice already. Why are there no new episodes? Very frustrating.
-
ifly737fa18Advertisements starts at 2 minutes into programAdvertising? Seriously? Ads starts to run 2 minutes into the program? Way to commercialize God. You cannot serve 2 master but in this Bible podcast they certainly try. No thanks.
-
ports&palacesGreat Idea - terrible planThis is something I was so looking forward to listening to. Listen to the Bible in note size chunks with commentary to help me understand it better - sign me up? Unfortunately there are more ads than actual content. Hard pass.

Blackwater3400Part of my Morning RoutineThis is part of my morning routine. I love how theatrical each story is. Jack Graham voice is comforting like a father or uncle so I enjoy his recapping of the story and what the message means. I recently found this podcast and glad I did.

Texas BoymomLoving this!I’m so thankful to have found this podcast. I’ve been wanting to learn more of the Bible. I’ve been a Christian my entire life, but I’ve been lazy about diving into the Bible; and my lack of Biblical knowledge is embarrassing at this point in my life. I realize he isn’t reading the Bible word for word, but he does a great job of preaching it. I can literally picture every story in my head as if I’m watching a movie. This podcast is just such a great way to learn (or re-learn) the stories in the Bible whether you’re a new believer or a lifelong believer. It’s more like an overview of the Bible in a year. Regardless, we’re still learning the Bible! Also, I’ve seen some reviews mention the “inappropriate” ads. I don’t think the podcast has anything to do with the ads. Those are set by Apple (or wherever you listen). Or maybe based on your algorithm. The ads I hear are from local radio stations, for things like Uber Eats. But honestly, I skip through the ads anyway, so it’s no harm no foul.

OhcomeletusadorehimPlease stop rated R movie adsPlease stop playing ads for the rated R movie The Omen.

IslanddollGreat listeningReally enjoying this podcast. When I wake up, I’m eager to listen to the series and become mesmerized by the dramatizations. Although there are ads, I just quickly fast forward through them, no distractions for me. Whether you’re new to the Bible or just want a great recourse, this is an awesome podcast to follow.
-
charmwxlEasy to understandI decided to listen to this podcast many years ago when I accidentally touched the button. So eager to know more about God, and to study his words, I continue to listen. The more I listen, the more it feels my heart this preacher made things come to life. Versus me reading the chapter he breaks it down in a way that even a child could understand. If you need to know more about God and you need to get closer to God, listen to his podcast.
-
Csp_2013Too many ads and not enough contentIt’s sad you hear more ads than content from the Bible!
-
Chak1700The MOST simplified scripture synopsis! This app is THE MOST Beginner-friendly Bible app that I have ever used! It breaks the scriptures down and simplifies them in cinematic form, keeping you engaged! As the words in the Bible can be challenging at times- this overview allows you to still receive an understanding of what’s taking place in the scriptures and follow along with ease!
-
LadyRED1Hey simplistic, but beautiful start! If you're seeking an introduction to the Bible and its teachings, or if you simply want to brush up, this app is perfect for you. Despite having four other apps on my phone, I find this one the most enjoyable, especially for its storytelling.
-
bbbbbbbbbbnnnnnbnnBlessedI wake up each morning and one of the first things I do is listen to Bible in a year on Prayer.com, the chapter verse reading for the day is read with such vivid stories and truths, after the verse the narrator explains what meaningful purpose and it has helped me when reading the chapter.
-
hernando momI’m learning so much!!I have heard the stories all my life but not in this much detail. Thank you for bringing me closer to God ❤️
-
MelandtotoThis lesson is awesome!!If you wonna draw closer to Jehovah, this Bible app is the way to do it! I love all of its features! I have grown so much listening to the Bible in a year lesson and it helps me stay encouraged while living in a dark world. Please give it a try. The daily prayers also help you. Jesus is coming back soon. We must get ready!
-
karlnethAdsI understand that you need people to sponsor your podcast, but I feel like the ads are too excessive.
-
sdawn17Thought it was going to be posted dailyIt is not posted daily. So it’s technically not Bible in a year.
-
KristymfNot the actual bible passagesYou immediately lost me when I realized what “inspired by the Bible meant”. Listening to the first show, I was wondering what bible translation you were reading from because there were lots dramatizations and extra flares that are not in any bible I’ve ever read. Why would you not just read the actual bible passage? The point of this is to actually read the Bible and then get some help to understand its meaning and significance. Bible in a year with Father Mike Schmitz is much better.
-
maci7Truly blessed to have come across this app!I have tried a lot of apps to learn the Bible and dig deep and this is truly the number one app I would refer to anybody who is trying to learn more of a scripture and stories, and grow in their faith. It’s a life-changing app easy to understand, and an overall true blessing. I wish I could have a PDF format of these teachings/readings so I can do as a Bible Study.
-
DianeS2024InterruptionEnjoy the story but the commercials are a major distraction. I’ll find a different Year in the Bible to listen to.
-
BrianVintageToo much fluffIn a 20 min program it’s basically 5-7 min of dramatic story with no actual biblical text rest is ads and explanation of story which is a waste. Better to put a sermon on than listen.
-
K1y2l3eOkIt’s ok
-
$@n@yYou should listen! This podcast is so interesting
-
KiliGirl'10AdsI understand that you might need sponsors to help support the podcast but wow I’m listening and then bam, 3-5 ads come on . Totally takes my mind away from the Bible. I had just done the whole Bible in a year this last year, I start every morning with it, they did not have a single ad all year, so I wanted to try a different person and their interpretation. There’s just some instances where you don’t take sponsors, and listening to the Bible is one as you would never think of someone jumping in with an ad when you’re at Church!
