I freaking love KJ & everything she is doing! She gives detailed information so that people can be aware of the dangers always surrounding us!! Has nothing to do with who you identify as but that people of all types, shapes, colors, religion, etc. can be dangerous!! Stay alert!! Keep it up KJ! Love your passion!!

I have NEVER been a podcast girl…but unspeakable is so amazing. KJ’s podcasts are like being on the phone with your best friend and talking about an unspeakable crime. The ONLY podcaster i can and will listen to. She truly cares about these victims, her listeners, and doing what she loves and it shows!

I can’t get enough of KJ. She tells us like she sees it. She gives us information that we probably don’t know because of her expertise. I appreciate that. She has a great sense of humor that adds to the truth she is giving us.

KJ is the all time best at true crime story telling, you can feel her pain as she digs deep into these cases finding out as much as she can about the victim, I’ve never listened to an episode and got bored, I’m always intrigued and wondering what’s going to happen next, I’m always surprised at how cruel people really can be and Kelly’s passion for helping and recognizing people is unbeatable. I wish I would’ve had a teacher like her in school but for now I’ll educated myself with every episode the woman drops and then some. If I could give ten stars I truly would.

KJ use to be my absolute favorite podcaster because I love her “tells it like it is” attitude, BUT lately, it seems like she focuses too much on someone’s looks and goes as far as body shaming people. That’s NOT ok. Also, if you listen, be prepared for her ads/sponsors to pop up mid sentence. There isn’t any warning whatsoever.

Look y’all, I am a listener and actually enjoy KJ’s story telling. However……..I’m wondering if she can’t stop and think about what she says sometimes. She seems obsessed with body types and what people look like and seems to prefer the societal norms. The reference today was describing lesbians. What happened to you as child to have you think this way?

I love this show, I love KJ’s storytelling. I understand that there is a lot of work that goes into podcasting but it is super frustrating to be listening along and mid-word or mid-sentence an ad is thrown in. Many shows wind down to a spot that lets you know an ad is coming. At the very least…can we finish the sentence and then throw the ad in??

Updated review: Really disappointed that the white girl syndrome is perpetually proven in these stories. Why don’t you go as hard for women of color that you just went for Laken? Food for thought. All missing and murdered are IMPORTANT. I love the description of the parties at beginning. I don’t know why but it tickles me how detailed it is. Wonderful reporting!!

I have listened to so many podcasts, where the hosts just talk the whole time. It takes forever for them to begin telling about the case. Kelly is an awesome storyteller, and I love that there’s no filter with her! She tells it like it is. You have gained a new listener!!

Can you guys look into doing the case of Antoinette Venditti Bruce? She seemed like an amazing and lovely person with a huge caring family —she was stalked and killed by a coworker of hers. There is no podcast coverage of this case and barely any news articles about the person she was. There’s one 30 minute tv show (the killer beside me) that covered it quite a long time ago. I just think she seemed like an awesome person and it’s definitely a good example for others regarding stalkers (to take it seriously) and especially when it happens in the workplace. This tragedy shouldn’t have happened and her story deserves more than a blip in the media. It fell through the cracks a little because she lived in Connecticut but he killed her in Rhode Island because he followed her there when she was on a work assignment (specifically to get some space from his escalating behavior unfortunately). It happened in a small town in RI with not much coverage really because she wasn’t from there. It’s an improvement story for everyone to hear because there were warning signs and now this lovely person is gone. You said you lie cases that have been adjudicated and yes thank goodness he is in prison now. I think your audience would really enjoy hearing about the kind person she was. It was because of that kind nature of hers that she ended up giving this dirtbag too many chances. (In my opinion) It would be so nice to put attention on this one due to her personality and likability—along with a situation that maybe someone else out there is struggling to deal with. That one show is really the only thing I’ve seen in the media about her case and it was quite a while ago. I’m sure it’s painful for her family. Your show would be a good place for people to remember HER and the event that never should have happened—thank you

KJ your retelling of horrific crimes is commendable. I think it’s important to tell/hear as close to possible what victims suffer through. I remember hearing about Laken Riley’s murder when it happened but you put the emphasis on how unjust and tragic her murder was. I cried, had chills, and I’m angry. What a beautiful lady with such a bright future unfairly stolen from her family, friends, and community.

I love this podcast and I just found it. Host is really into the story . Sorry I didn’t find it sooner.

Great podcast. Kelly is impossible to not love! She’s got so much personality and tells it like it is. My only complaint is that there are so many ads for AI intelligence and it just creeps me out. Every commercial break, they play this ad for AI. Very distracting and just kind of creeps me out.

When I first Kelly on a guest host on RLRC, I knew she was definitely made for podcasting. I live just over the MS line. Love local shows. This one’s the best!

I was a fan...I went thru the most recent casts and there have been 2 non subscribers. Not to mention that many others (like me) appreciate a heads up when you are about to play and ad...or three. I adore your cadence and your background in this field. Sorry to say from one KJ to another...I will unfollow if things remain the same.

I LOVE this podcast but…. PLEASE work on the editing. You will be mid sentence and an add starts. Its maddening! But I love Kelly and the stories she tells.

This review is more about the placement of ads than the show itself, which is both compelling and well done. I can hardly stand to listen to it anymore due to the ads every five minutes. And what’s most annoying is that the ads (at least in Apple Podcasts), come mid sentence during Kelly’s storytelling. She’ll be describing a crime scene and saying something like “and investigators found a skull-“ then suddenly, “CH-CH-CH-CH CHUMBA!” Kills the flow.

I’ve been listening to crime podcasts for a while. Recently started listening to you. You are the best. You’re passionate, funny and so fun to listen to , even though the subject matter Is awful Most of the time. Sadly I’m obsessed with crime stories. I think my husband thinks I’m nuts🤪

Your enthusiasm and attention to details are on point, l listen to you on the way to work, which is an hour drive you wake me up and sometimes have my blood pressure up by the time I get there, but that’s what a great story teller does, you keep my attention (even though I have ADD lol) Keep up your great work!❤️

Kelly has balls and takes no prisoners

The stories are interesting but the podcaster is annoying as other reviewers have pointed out. There are too many unnecessary details and she gets too hyped up. It would be a lot better if she stuck to the story and wasn’t so hyper and judgmental. Calm down.

I went back to the beginning and I believe it was on Season 2 she announced Patreon. I listened to that point, immediately jumped screens and became a part of the Crime Family, right away. Love the straightforward way you approach cases and are not afraid to express a REAL opinion. So many are too worried about Stars and ratings to express one way or the other. Whether I agree or disagree, I admire your honesty. Great podcast. And I don’t often disagree, btw.

Kelly, I’m a Michigander (Stupid term used by politicians in Michigan 😆 I LOVE Your Podcast ! I admonish your delivery of these very delicate , sad cases- that you report on. I LOVE your direct way (and, your cute accent) of telling the true story-with class and grace, and your “special language” allowed and encouraged for such cases! I will forever be a Loyal listener & look forward to every podcast you releas! The story choices are compelling, however, the host is aggravating to listen to. Runs off on tangents, ranting and raving and providing unnecessary theories and opinions that add no value to the art of storytelling or connecting with the audience. Relax, sis.

I really like the format of the podcast. She has the ability to be a great podcaster, but she’s way too animated. Please simmer down some. I get it’s your podcast, but we don’t need to know your opinion on every single thing. Just tell the story!! That episode on Douglas Perry was very disrespectful to trans people. You basically insulted them in every way possible. It doesn’t matter that you were “just talking about the perpetrator….” I’m not trans but even I felt disrespected. I lost respect after that episode. The Megan Kanka episode is way too animated. You don’t have to go into every single tiny detail like you think you do. I loved your podcast at first, but it’s starting to rub me the wrong way.

Great podcast IF you had actual interviews otherwise you’re no different than listening to a book that I call asleep to. Good luck

I just listened to the latest podcast where you said you were on Reddit and I think they got it all wrong. I love how honest and true you are.

I was hooked immediately. I’m only in the first ten or so episodes at this time, but I’ve easily become obsessed. And let me just say, when I realized that you and Woody are affiliated, I lost my mind. I’ve been bingeing Woody’s podcast for months and was so shocked to find someone as passionate as Woody with that same fantastic accent who experienced Bloody Angola. Thank you!!!

This podcaster is great at creating a storyline far from real true crime analysis. One sided storytelling that’s makes you think how truthful her analysis is. Telling the story with truth and honesty doesn’t seem to be her forte…

Just started listening to podcasts. I am kind of upset I found her! She is so good at telling these stories,I feel as no one else can even keep my Attention much less compete with this spitfire! KJ you rock and keep up the good work! You are the best, keep doing what you’re doing because it’s perfect!

KJ is one of the BEST!! She tells it like it is, with no apologies. I LOVE her style; she’s a phenomenal podcaster. She gives in-depth information, and is an advocate for the victims and survivors. If you want true crime told from an honest perspective, and if you’re not easily offended, she’s your girl!!!
