chuckfranceTwo Stops Over is gemIf you’re wanting a podcast that speaks to Directing, Cinematography and the overall filmmaking process this is the one. So many podcasts are mired in all the technical nonsense. This podcast is from two industry heavyweights that provide insight into the creative process, relationships and how to “make it” in the business. Vance and Nigel have a different senses of humor (which is great). It’s like an ongoing conversation among two best friends that have been in the business for years. They both know tech but as we all know tech comes and tech goes. It’s the creative processes, the relationship building and such that is invaluable to industry folks, folks wanting to get into the industry and folks that just love movies, music videos the creative process. Insightful, knowledgeable, funny and just a joy to listen to.

AzmoleeJeff AlderHilariously funny, fantastically fun, impressively informative, and tastefully produced by a couple of guys who directed, shot, edited and produced tons of hugely successful and artistically awesome, popular music videos together. They team up on their podcast as impressed, wide-eyed fans, as well as well-informed kindred spirits of Paul Cameron ASC, their subject in this first episode. After covering how Paul approaches lighting and shooting on numerous major motion pictures, they trade more of their entertainingly enlightened insights into other pop culture phenomena, like movies about rock stars I look forward to more.

brooksontheroadFantastic!!!Two Stops Over is brilliant! Vance and Nigel are responsible for many of your favorite images and music videos from the early days of MTV, and bring a humorous, technical, and raucous insiders insight into the process, and this podcast should be required listening for any music, film, or general entertainment fan. Very highly recommended.
