The Rich Keefe Show

Christian Arcand is a native Bostonian who began his sports radio career hosting at WGAM/ESPN New Hampshire in 2011. He soon added weekend update duties at WEEI to his resume, before joining ‘Planet Mikey’ with Mike Adams and eventually hosting ‘WEEI Late Night’ before moving to The Sports Hub in 2017.Arcand ultimately rejoined WEEI in November 2022, serving as a part of the ‘Jones & Mego with Arcand’ and ‘WEEI Afternoons’ shows before taking over as the full time 6p-10p host in 2025. Arcand is also the station’s primary voice for Red Sox weeknight pre & post-games.

    As much as I enjoyed Arcand in the afternoons, him solo is probably the best full sports show on EEI. You’re not going to get pop culture or drama. You’ll just get Boston sports and sometimes that’s what we want.

    Love the show, too many episodes uploaded each day
    I love this show, but whomever uploads the episodes really spams my feed each day. I don’t think you need more than 4 episodes a day, and could probably consolidate down to 2 uploads. What we don’t need is the full hour, plus little highlights that are already in the full hour episodes. I don’t need half my feed to be this show. But keep it up Rich and Andy, you guys are great.

    Keefe is the best Boston sports radio host ever. He has a great way of blending in the important Boston sports topics with light hearted fun. Fitzy and Hart are the perfect compliment to keefe and they play off each other well. Not to mention the occasional Davey Eyeballs appearance.

    Have been listening to Keefe since he was added to the Dale and Holly show. Great opinions and just a funny light hearted host. Also listen to his other podcasts (#Dork) and it’s ridiculous he was taken off his afternoon show with Greah (great tandem). His move has caused me to listen more to the night show (sorry, wasn’t a huge Mutt fan) but he should and deserves to be on prime time. Will take him with Fitzy and Hart and though.
