Updating my original review below to add that while I mis James on the show, I’m really appreciating Brad Copeland on the show — his technical knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to nerd out on Dave’s level of nerdery is awesome. Excellent, intelligent, informative, funny. And that’s just Dave Rome. With Ronan and James added to the mix, adjectives fail me. A must listen for anyone with even a passing interest in bike tech and, of course, tools.

Gave 5 stars for Ronan because he recently said he didn’t see a lot of them and his articles are great. Gave 5 stars for James because he is also a fellow TWT alumnus. I started working there a year after he left so we never got to meet, but he was a legend and everyone at the shop always read his articles. Gave 5 stars for Dave and his Threaded newsletter. It’s not helping my bank account since I like good quality tools, but such is life.

The bike tech reviews are in-depth like no other, Dave, James and Ronan have a wealth of insights and experience that they love to share. This is an excellent resource for the community and worth your time to give it a listen, even if Dave's puns are sometimes terrible (they have their moments).

If you’re into cycling tech and equipment this is the podcast for you. It’s informative and entertaining.

I always look forward to Thursdays when this podcast drops. I not only enjoy the great content, but the comaraderie of the hosts. I’m a huge fan of Escape Collective generally and highly recommend subscribing. The quality and depth of their product reviews is unmatched.

All the latest bike tech news, but more importantly deep dives into the minutiae of bike tech and tools. Like so deep you have to be a real bike geek to care. All with the proper level of humor. Everyone on this show takes themselves the exact right amount of serious. Which isn’t very much.

Very knowledgeable hosts, and I appreciate the different perspectives they bring each week. Keep up the good work guys, it motivated me to become a member last March.

Escape Collective has some fantastic bike racing content, but there's a lot of it on the web. By comparison, I have not seen anything that rivals the level of depth, expertise, and insight into bike tech provided weekly by Geek Warning. I was saddened when "the other place" shut down, but thrilled that the Nerd Alert band was brought back together and the product is better than ever. I do enjoy Placeholders, Pretty Serious Bike Racing and Wheel Talk, but to me, Geek Warning is truly what sets Escape Collective apart!

A really good blend of bike industry information and maintenance talk. Oh, and tools. Lots of tools.

Top notch conversations about tech stuff. Some of my favorites are all together on this show- geeks, consider yourselves warned. While I’m not a road rider anymore (and this podcast is mainly road) I will still listen to every single episode.

I have listened to the MADE, Shimano new GRX episode about three times now, and I am resisting the urge to roll a whiteboard into my dining room to take notes. Such a great episode packed with so much information. It’s just hard to get this sort of insight anywhere else. Geek Warning, you guys are great! Please keep it up. Thanks for all the effort. These guys are great. Probably the best English language journalists in cycling, always dishing out interesting stories about the things you did, and didn’t know about bikes.

This team of cycling tech experts really, REALLY know what they are talking about. Also, if a product is not performing as advertised …they are not afraid to say so. There is no substitute for the amount of collective cycling tech experience this team bring to the weekly discussions.

A go to for anyone who likes bikes and wrenching on bikes. Lots of interesting material! Highly recommended
