I have my doctorate in physical therapy and I’m an online personal trainer, health coach, and yoga teacher for women over 40. .My health has been a journey for me. After my first child, I remember feeling stressed and overwhelmed. I was having anxiety and heart palpitations, and I found out my cholesterol was high. .Then after my third child, I started to slowly regain the weight that I had lost. I remember going up a flight of stairs and being out of breath. This was a wake-up call and made me reprioritize my health. Through quick workouts and basic nutrition, I kept things simple and stayed consistent. Not only did I lose the weight and keep it off, but I started to feel better and have more energy..On top of this, just a couple of years ago I started having some autoimmune issues. I knew that lifestyle changes could have a big impact so I worked on improving my gut, increasing my nutrition, and lowering my stress and it worked!     A year ago, I had the fear put in me that I needed to focus on my health NOW. But where to start with changing so many bad habits was an overwhelming undertaking. Spending a fair amount of time in my car, I decided to start with a podcast, and after doing a search of something like, “eating healthy”, Healthy Beyond 40 jumped out at me (I’m in my 50’s). Michele had only been posting episodes for about 2 months when I found her. I quickly caught up, and enjoyed her positive approach to change, and focus on building a more healthy lifestyle 1 habit at a time. This actually seemed doable! The podcast led me to set up the free health coach call, and feeling we would be a good fit, I signed up with her. I have learned so much this past year through these episodes and through working with her as a coach, and have changed in so many ways. I am not the same person I was a year ago. I am so grateful Michele started her podcast right when I needed it and when I was ready start taking my health seriously.

    I really enjoyed the information in the podcast regarding the 10-15 minute workouts. I learned that instead of doing my two long workouts for strength, it’s better to do 3 to 4 shorter ones like you do when you’re doing physical therapy. Thanks for the information Michele!!!
