Great podcast for all of us
We all grew up in a whole different world than our kids are growing up in now and I appreciate Sean’s perspective because he sees the kids for who they are and what they need. Not who we want and need them to be. I’m constantly getting new ideas and ways to speak to my son in a way I feel he listens.

    Great podcast!
Such incredible insight. My parents were great, but times and society has changed so much that we need different tools and tactics in order to raise well rounded children. I love Sean’s TikTok too, as it’s a daily reminder for me to listen and to work on my patience.

    Solid advice
Found Sean on IG, making it a point to try to only follow accounts that speak life! his account is definitely that. Solid advice, given in a way that is easy to understand, not patronizing or annoying… just speaking truth and being real. Normal Mom going through some challenging teen years w one son, as well as parenting 10 year old, I appreciate it the guidance 🤙🏼

    Ads
Love the content, and totally support needing to monetize, but 4 minutes of ads on a 9 minute podcast is crazy. I learned more from the ads than I did from the podcast and they are placed mid sentence, so it makes for a poor listening experience. Please try to do planned ad breaks instead of random drop ins. If I wanted that I’d be on YouTube.

    I’ve learned so much!!
I’ve listen to every episode and they are amazing! Always sharing them with my husband. Definite five star material. My only regret with this podcast is I didn’t find it 20 years ago.

I am a retired elementary school teacher and stumbled on the family coach through instagram. I have learned so much and share his advice with my children and grandchildren. It is so helpful to have the words and tools to deal with all relationships and dynamics in an extended family. Now I can offer advice by sending a link to my family! I wish I had had this guy when I was raising my children!

    Thank you Sean and Jordan
This podcast gives a realistic view to the many parents that are struggling. I love the advice that Sean gives but for me, it’s Jordan that makes the show. As Sean coaches, Jordan asks the questions that we are all thinking in our head. The open dialogue between the two makes the podcast feel like you’re involved in a group counseling session instead of making you feel like you’re listening to a parenting audio book. Thank you for your advice and encouragement because as we know good parenting changes the world!

    Thank you
I’ve always wanted a family and I’ve always wanted it to be great. Four kids in and it is tough. I can not thank you enough for helping me and our family through life and becoming better at it every day. Thank you.

    Helping a struggling dad
Your podcasts have really helped me put in perspective my kid’s behaviors and that parenting isn’t as easy as some people make it out to be. I work in a mentally and physically taxing job where my patience and tactfulness is depleted by the time I get home. Listening to your podcasts have a way of calming me to where it reminds me of the importance of being present and looking into why my kid’s are reacting the way they are and how I need to assist them in mirroring appropriate self regulating of one’s emotions or moods. Thank you and keep it up.

    Most Relatable Podcast there is!
The most relatable podcast you can find. Not only are we in the same age range as Sean & Jordan, we have a large family, twins & a LUCKY little guy the same age. I came here for parenting advice but have left improving my marriage, and myself through every episode.

    great parenting solutions!
every time I listen to Sean, I take with me a tool to help my family and our closeness. thank you for your passion in such an important topic!

    Too wordy
The advice is good but it’s very wordy like being a third wheel on a date with two old friends.

    Has potential
I love the idea of promoting positive parenting. The idea of connection before correction. However sometimes there are snarky comments about other parenting styles and family’s deeply personal hailed beliefs. (i.e. comments about religion and making nasty comments about people that use timeout) Timeout may not be the most effective way to parent but I think it’s important to give parents credit that most of the times timeouts are a parents way of finding a better alternative to hitting. That comes from a good place and it should be recognized. Overall, this is counterproductive if the goal is to change peoples minds. If you feel attacked then you are less likely to be open to change and feedback m. I hope this part of the podcast falls by the wayside because it has a lot of potential and I really want to love this podcast.

    Easy listen, really impactful
I found Sean on Tik Tok and loved his content and tips which I've implemented. I'm so thankful for the podcast and topics which give me what i want and NEED to hear but in bigger doses. The rapport is fantastic, conversational but resonates in a way that is relatable and helpful.

    Gratitude
So thankful for these guys!!! They’ve helped me to see what I was doing wrong in parenting and not just passing blame on my kids and their negative behaviors. I realized the way my daughter was reacting to me was exactly the way I’d respond to her when she angered me. I was forgetting she is a child and I’m the adult. If I can’t contain my negative reactions how was I expecting a 14 year old teenager to do so. Also great to know we’re not alone in the journey because sometimes it feels that way. Keep up the amazing work you guys

    Gives you different perspectives
I had talked on the phone with him briefly and really opens your eyes to new prospectives of parenting and being a father, and a husband. Excited to see what new content he comes out with in my journey to becoming the father/husband I want to be.

    Strong willed daughter/Sassmaster
One of your videos came across my page as I was scrolling one day. It had to do with how to deal with disrespectful children. I have read so many books, been to therapy with my daughter for years, spent countless nights feeling like a failure, no one could really give me anything that I can put into practice that would work. The video I watched gave examples of what not to say and why (yes I had said almost all of them) and then gave examples of what to try. It wasn’t long before I had the opportunity to put it in to practice…it worked. She stopped immediately, it was unreal and I think it surprised both of us! I can’t thank you enough for sharing your knowledge. I’m looking forward to learning more.
