The best of Judaism in a nutshell
I look forward to every new episode. The moment I hear the first tones from the opening theme I’m immediately in a more calm present place. These brief meditations highlight the very best of what Judaism has to offer the world: a way to appreciate the many blessing we have and be a better person because of it.

    Heartfelt Thanks!
I began saying the Sh’ma before bed many months ago. Your talk about using each word for a breath exhalation was so useful, as it instantly was relaxing and meditative. I’ve been using it to slow my mind and body and release myself to begin a restorative sleep(hopefully). Thank you!

    Perfection on many levels
I’ve been listening to this podcast regularly and it’s helped me take pause and get perspective in many areas of my life. I’ve recommended it to other Jewish friends and they love it too. Thank you for this podcast. It helps us get deeper, more mindful, and more appreciative of who we are.

    Insightful Nuggets
I’ve been really enjoying many of the 10-12 minute sound bytes on your show! They’re perfect. A great combination of insight, Jewish teachings, real-life examples, and are easy to understand. Sometimes I feel like certain lessons are reinforced for me by different people if I didn’t get it the first time around or didn’t internalize it or wasn’t listening…and so other ways of delivering the same materials or values have been helpful and here on your podcast I am able to find that for myself. You also have a nice voice and I come from a musical family so we’re tuned into sounds and notice the nuances of it more. Thank you for creating these episodes! I have and continue to learn a ton. And am new but immersing myself in Jewish culture, wisdom and community. It’s wonderful.

I’m getting so much out of this podcast!
OK, so all cards on the table, I’m not Jewish. I am a Christian, but I stumbled across this podcast the other day and thought I would give it a listen. Oh my goodness, the principles that this rabbi helps those who listen to practice is so helpful and so needed in this day and and age. It’s good for everyone of all faiths and perhaps those who don’t even believe or have a faith. Anyway, I go away feeling definitely more mindful, closer to God, and better for having listened to it. Thank you Rabbi Josh. I sure hope it’s OK that I’m partaking even though I’m not Jewish, lol! Keep them coming because we need them out here. I only wish you could produce two a day!

    Amazing Podcast
I just listened to the most recent two, listened to the meditation on RAIN, thought it was helpful. I’m a Detroit Tiger fan, live in Michigan, have two boys, 11 and 14, older is a devoted travel baseball player with expectations of playing in college. I’ll continue to listen, please continue to make more episodes, I’m starting from the most recent and going backwards. We are a Jewish family in West Bloomfield. Thanks, Michael

    Excited for this new podcast
I am excited about this bite-sized meditation podcast. It feels like something I can actually implement into my life. His voice is easy to listen to and the music complimentary without being overwhelming. I appreciate the personal story at the beginning. It feels like we are in a journey together “, not being talked down to from on high.
