rybeebsJackpot!I haven’t been into wildlife photography for too long but I’ve been CRAVING to learn more. I’ve found it hard to find answers to my questions. However, after just listening to one episode, I’ve learned WAY more than I have anywhere else. I immediately subscribed to Photo Wild Magazine. So if you’re like me, craving to learn more, not getting the best resources yet…STOP what you’re doing! Listen to this podcast and subscribe, you’ve just hit the jackpot. Can’t wait to keep learning!

Lewisbholmeslots of insightsA new favorite, I enjoy the stories about adventures in beautiful places combined with detailed and helpful tips for nature photography. I have learned more in the first few shows than I have in longer courses and books. Much appreciated!

PufferPointsGood To GoI found this podcast a couple of weeks ago. I have listened to them all, and can not wait till the next one comes out. Loved the podcast so much I had to subscribe to the magazine as well. Just so I could learn even more.

BobGPhotoEpisode 16“I like to plan what I can control to give me the freedom to be spontaneous with what I cannot control.” I had never heard a rationale for planning described like this, but it definitely resonates with me!

Attila722Great PodcastIt’s always a pleasure to find a podcast where the hosts stick to the topic, and don’t laugh, joke and play around. This is such a good professional run podcast. I listen to a lot of podcasts, and ones like PhotoWild are few and far between. They provide a great amount of information for improving nature photography. It is a pleasure listening to Jared and Annalise.

fotogcwLoyal followerI have been a fan of Jared Lloyd since I saw him on Gardners wild photo adventure. I joined journal of wildlife photography because of him And I now switched to photowild as well. And have stopped following the journal. I think he is a fantastic resource because of his experience and knowledge.

LoganCasey212Great podcast that helps right awayStumbled upon this podcast on a road trip to a bird photo workshop in Florida. Glad I did because it changed everything about how I photograph birds in flight. My instructor was trying to get us to use the Eye Autofocus but I stayed with Jared and Annalise’s settings and came back with more tack sharp and in focus than anyone else in the group. You can tell they are both passionate about their craft which makes the podcast easy to listen to. I learned more from the podcasts than I did on my Florida photo workshop, so my next workshop will be with them. I wish they came out more than every other week.

RickGroveExploresSimply OutstandingThank you for filling the void left by other wildlife photography podcasts. Excellent instruction and guidance from working wildlife photographers with frequent dives into natural history.

JBoninPhotoWILD is a well-rounded podcast for wildlife photographers!Jared and Annalise have addressed numerous topics in just six episodes, from 'pivoting' a photo workshop based on weather and wildlife behavior (being naturalists) to pre-production and selecting gear for a trip. The episodes have a theme yet still cover many matters, from broad issues such as understanding your subject(s) in the wild to the importance of white balance in the snow. Engaging, humorous, educational, and a great listen!

nofastpassingComplaint-The complaint I have is that this podcast is so captivating, I was listening to it in my car waiting to go into work, and I got so engrossed in the episode that my staff came out looking for me and I was late to work! (The green sloth episode!) I am a veterinarian, who enjoys wildlife/bird photography, has interests in environment and science- this podcast literally checks ALL the boxes!!!! Thank you both so much!!!!

Neil JerniganWorkshop in a Podcast! No other podcast like it! This information is what people pay thousands of dollars for on location during a workshop, all for free! Great work and can’t wait to hear more!!

mommyhadadreamPhotoWILD: knowledgeable, technical and entertaining! As a photographer , I have approached my craft in the past from an artistic viewpoint. However, Jared and Annalise, with their wealth of knowledge, have taught me not only how to photograph wildlife artistically, but to understand the living animal that I am photographing - the how and why of certain behavioral patterns of different species…And once this is understood, I can then anticipate an animal’s next move and my next shot. PhotoWILD is both informative and entertaining while being extremely educational. Technical aspects are explained in an easy to understand way, and this podcast makes you feel like you are having a discussion in your living room. I highly recommend PhotoWILD podcast for every photographer!

beartoothgurlThe dynamic duo!Jared and Annalise are extremely talented working photographers, as well as experts in communicating the very technical aspects of wildlife biology, wildlife photography, and gear in an easy to understand way…not to mention entertaining! They bring you right along with them on their journeys, and the stories will leave you wanting more! You know you are hooked when you find yourself retelling their stories at dinner parties! Hands down, the best podcast out there for any photographer!

Jared and Annalise have a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to photography & wildlife. Not only are you learning something but they make you feel like you were there with them in the field with the great stories they tell. And they play off of each other well, adding a little humor.
