I am so thankful to Derrick, the host, for using his skills to shine a light on cold cases. His insight is great and his exposure is even better. This is what celebrities should use their exposure for - for good. And you can tell Derrick truly cares for these cases and the victims/their families.

Finally someone who CARES about the VICTIMS more than the fame. Derrick is probably my favorite true crime host. He cares about the victims and their stories and doesn’t sensationalize their pain for his gain. He’s interesting to listen to and his opinions are based on case facts — they actually have value, not just some “maybe this [thing]”, etc.

Love true crime and BB so having Derrick Levasseur tell stories about true crimes is a win win! I am late to the game and have been meaning to listen for a while but just now starting! Starting from the beginning and I am hooked!

Derrick is a true asset to the true crime genre. His research is thorough and he shows so much compassion toward the victims and their families.

Fantastic podcast!! Derrick is not only knowledgeable but compassionate. He is well spoken and victim centered. Thank you Derrick for all the work you do with victims families.

Being from Rhode Island I’m a Derrick fan who watched him on Big Brother. I’m intrigued in true crime so this was an easy decision to check out this podcast. It’s worth a listen, Derrick does a great job breaking down each case.

I have been listening to this podcast on and off for a while now, but it is my go to. I appreciate the straight forward storytelling as opposed to other over-dramatic true crime podcasts. My favorite part is the analysis from a real investigator. Additionally, the audio quality is excellent, I can’t listen to podcasters that don’t have quality microphones. Thank you Derrick for bringing light to these horrific cases and bringing the victims’ families closer to justice.

I recommend this podcast to everyone I know because every case is very nicely done. Some are very sad but their stories need to be told. Justice for the voiceless

I have been binging for a while. I love the stories, his point of view and pentameter. He has a great voice for podcasts, or in general, and experience. He is not wordy at the beginning of each episode and keeps the facts simple. I can’t wait to hear more. Highly recommend!

I’m a true fan of this show and crime weekly etc! The format and delivery is great! Audio is a little muffled on the voice in my opinion and not as clear as I’ve heard it recorded on your other show but small fix I’m sure.

I don’t miss a single episode and love that he does episodes on crimes and missing people that need the help. He does not do the most popular cases or what is in the media now. I found this show through Crime Weekly and have been listening since the beginning. I look forward to these episodes every week and appreciate Derrick’s thorough coverage of each case and his unbiased, professional perspective.

I’ve enjoyed this show since day one, but the Missing Gabriel Johnson was especially good. Derek does a great job and is probably the most respectful TC podcaster I listen to.

I love detective perspective, Derek does an amazing job giving the facts then recapping with his perspective. It is a nice change to listen to a podcast where the host has actual detective experience. You can tell he cares deeply about each case!

Derrick brings a fresh and unique perspective to his podcast and it is great! Just him, so no sideways conversations. He speaks crisply and relays his story in an organized and clear fashion. In addition he steers away from “the usual” tales and brings new cases, as well as his insight, to the table. This became an instant favorite.

This podcast is one of the best true crime pods available. No foolishness by the host, he gives facts and his opinions (which I welcome because he was a detective) while he weaves an interesting story. The host’s voice is easy to listen to as well. All around a 5 star podcast.

LOVE YOUR POD!!!! can you please cover the Lindsay Buziak case? It is an unsolved case out of Canada where a young real estate was murdered while showing a million dollar home! Would love to hear your detective perspective!!!!!

Derrick’s intuition with the small hidden nuances of each case is amazing. His team that brings the stories each week are excellent. He does not force his opinions but gives the listener the ability to come to their own conclusion. I highly recommend Detective Perspective!

I’m a huge Crime Weekly fan and I’ve always admired the way Derrick analyzes cases. It was a little strange at first hearing Derrick read the facts of the cases instead of Stephanie, but he lays it out very well. I really enjoy the format of this show! Even though all of the cases are unsolved each episode ends with info on what we can do to help.

So most my issue is I listen before bed and you put me to sleep. Lol you should do sleep audio books too. It I love your content on here and CW and everywhere you go!
