Best podcast to listen to while you’re slow dancing a pineapple apart

I have a long time love for this podcast, but it annoys me that Tig bullies Fortune and Mae for being boring and then Tig’s contributions are way more boring on average than theirs. If Tig would be more vulnerable and shut down the other hosts less (or do so in a funnier and less self-ignorant way), this would be a better show.

I always listen once and enjoy you all in my rotation. What you don’t know is y’all sleep with me a couple of times a week. surprise! I love my reruns with you a couple of times a week.

My husband and I were really enjoying this podcast- we’d even bought some merch. last summer I had to go to a carnivore to combat SIBO. I had to stop listening because veganism (and specious information regarding its benefits to one’s body and the environment) became a constant drone. My husband continued for a while but eventually gave it up as well and for the same reason.

I fell in love with this podcast months ago. I’m a pretty little lady and I can’t get enough of their content…podcast, standup specials, etc. I’ve been a fan of Tig and Fortune’s for some time, and loved meeting Mae through this medium. Can’t wait to travel and see them in Austin, live!

I am a big fan of Handsome. I also enjoyed listening to Tig Notaro on Don’t Ask Tig & True Stories. I’m sorry to say that her continued friendship with Cheryl Hines an and Robert Kennedy JR. is so disappointing and disturbing. His stance with Trump policies to suspend cancer research and cancer trials is shameful. Vaccines, CDC support, and USAID are saving millions of lives. I had breast cancer in 2020 and now incurable Multiple Myeloma beginning in 2022. Were it not for Cancer Research and the miraculous protocols my oncologist prescribes, I would be dead or very ill right now. All of us, particularly people with a public platform need to speak out about the atrocities this President and his cabinet minions espouse. It all about power and money and certainly not about people who are suffering. My anger has no bounds for this dystopian and vile administration.

… or at least indicate at what point in the pod you will talk about orgies so that one can fast forward through that part. I’m all for sex positivity but this is weird and you talk about them a lot. It’s tiresome. Love the pod tho .

I came in only knowing Tig NOtaro’s work, which I love, but I can’t get enough of the group together. Such a great dynamic. I love that they are in different decades of life. Also I think my inner voice is turning into Fortune Feimster now and that is a pretty cool bonus.

I listen weekly but it’s mostly out of habit at this point. I love these three individually, but together there’s not much spark. Thinking about Tig on True Story versus this, she has a totally different energy here. They don’t understand each others styles of humor so there’s not much riffing. That being said, I’ll take whatever I can get haha

Tig! My favorite dessert date recipe: mix tahini, vanilla and maple syrup, fill the date put a piece of walnut in the center and then press the top of the date into sesame seeds. It’s so good! Also, you changed my life with frozen broccoli in my morning smoothie. You were right, I can’t taste it. My wife and I have been vegan for 9 years, and I love to hear when you drop some vegan tips on the pod! Thanks!

I love these handsome humans. They make me laugh so hard and I smile thinking about them every day. I am super grateful for the joy they bring!

This podcast is a little mini vacation every week. I’m a busy stay-at-home mother of five, and I hang out with Tig and Mae and Fortune with my ear buds in while I bake bread or fold laundry, or whatever other glorious task I’m doing. My daughters have walked in on me multiple times, asking me what I’m laughing so hard about. I try to tell them how much I just love listening to three lesbian comics riff off their own friendships on air. It’s so great, and I’m more grateful than is probably reasonable for the time I spend with this show.
