Recent take on the pats free agent press conference was spot on, an example of Nick never afraid to go against the tide of the prevailing media views - and many times he is a step ahead.

I’m not a podcast expert. I am a Boston sports fan so this is what I sought out when I started listening to podcasts. The results were varied, but I found a few interesting ones that I made a point to follow. The podcasts I found interesting are the ones that are informative and entertaining. Nick is great! He does terrific as a solo host and the work he does with Greg Bedard is excellent. It’s almost like he interviews Greg and he is the host of that show as well. I’m a huge fan of Nick Cattles and I have and will recommend his podcasts to many of my fellow Boston sports fans.

Found Nick through his podcast with Greg Bedard, as a Boston Sports Journal subscriber. His podcast with Greg is my favorite Patriots podcast and I love them both. Nick’s podcast is great because there’s 3 episodes per week, even in the off-season. Always listening to anything Nick has to say. Thank you!

Love how he focuses on facts, not drama

I love the Patriots turn of events — just when you thought Bill was gone, we get the rebirth. Vrabel is the essentially the same football guy, just not as grumpy and disdainful toward the press. Also really glad that Vrabel is signaling a focus on winning his “balanced” and “efficient” way — not trying to simply entertain the “throw it all over the yard” quant crowd. If I can’t have Bill, I’ll take the next best thing — someone who sees football and leadership the same way ;-) If this outcome doesn’t warm your heart, go report on one of the tight-pantsed coaches who continue not to win anything meaningful (i.e., 1 SB for just about 10 yrs of hype)… Welcome back Bill 2.0… PS: Now we need to have Eliot exited — no way he continues duck his portion of the responsibility for 5yrs drafting and personnel failure. He is the cockroach of personnel people — simply a mediocre or worse survivor…

Cattles is knowledgeable & fun to listen to. Adding: in afraid to be positive if the situation warrants, which is the mark of a thoughtful show. Avoids the easy path of sports radio lapses into lazily crying about controversies, or inventing them.

A great podcast if you want an in depth, insightful and passionate assessment of the happenings in and around the major New England sports scene. If you want to break away from the mainstream sports channels and their agendas, give Nick a listen and follow!

The podcast grew tiresome for me, so I unsubscribed. I still try to catch an episode occasionally. I appreciate Nick’s knowledge about the Patriots. But, I’d like to see him add other Boston sports to his podcast repertoire. Lastly, he goes way overboard pumping YouTube Super Chats and Patreon. It got old quickly.

Great pod for a Boston sports fan

Nick does a great job of gathering information from numerous sources so you don’t have to. He puts it all together and comes up with interesting views that the usual sports talk shows don’t. 4 stars because the pod could use a little less repetition.

Great fast paced daily podcast on the latest events in Boston sports. Give the guy a listen Boston fans. Better than most talking heads on local radio, and without all the cesspool of negativity. Keep it going Nick. You will get a bigger gig. UncleMarkNJ

This is better. So sick of sports media in Boston. Being a naysayer 100% of the time is not a higher caller than being a homer, no matter what the Felger types say (over and over and over and over again). It's ok to be a fan of your team and listen to someone that's a fan too. Frankly the rest are just parroting each other or only tackling the topics the local sports media machine gins up anyway (borrrrr-ing). Cattles is doing way more of his own homework. It's original observations and ideas, not meant to make you feel stupid for being positive about your team. Take them all down, Nick!

I cycle through a handful of Patriots/NFL podcasts, and when I heard on the Bedard pod Nick was doing a solo pod, I knew I had to check it out. Now it’s at least in my top five favorite Patriot podcasts. Big fan of how he breaks down and analyzes what’s going on with the team. I used to listen to the two major stations in New England. But it’s too much talking head stuff for me. Keep doing your thing, Nick!

The repetitive requests for likes/subs is brutal, if it continues I will not listen anymore.

Fair, upfront and reasoned Patriots news. And he’s entertaining too! You can tell he enjoys doing the show and speaking to his audience.

Can’t get enough!

I relocated from Boston area to Texas a year ago. Found Nick a great co-host on another POD so he when he started his own it was a no brained to give the show a try. Now Nick is one of the trusted few to keep me up on all things Boston sports. He is passionate about his work without the talk radio sensationalism and negativity out there today. Highly recommend this PODCAST

I have been going out of my way to listen to Nick’s content for years, and am pumped for this new show. With no corporate conflicts of interest, you can trust that Nick’s opinion are his own and that he has no hidden agenda.

Nick is awesome and it’s refreshing that he’s not a hot take hardo like most of the Boston sports media peeps. I listen to this podcast daily over 98.5 and WEEI because Nick is honest rather than constantly negative for the sake of ratings.

Nick doesn’t just have takes for ratings. He gives thoughtful commentary on Boston sports.

No nonsense Boston sports talk. Love your takes on what’s going on with the Patriots this year! Keep it up!
