    A Life-Changing Podcast for Over a Decade!
I've been following Cliff Ravenscraft's podcast for well over 10, maybe even 15 years, and it has been an incredible journey. I first stumbled across Cliff when I was contemplating starting my own podcast, and I've been hooked ever since. Cliff covers a range of topics, but what stands out most to me is his deep dive into what it takes to run a successful business and his focus on mindset. His insights have profoundly impacted both my personal and professional life. Through his podcast, I've learned the importance of continuous growth and self-improvement. Attending his workshop several years after I started listening was a pivotal experience for me, as it not only expanded my knowledge but also connected me with like-minded individuals. While many episodes have been valuable, the recent ones have been particularly great, although I can’t single out just one. Cliff's style is both open and honest. He is transparent about his journey and genuinely aims to help people shift their mindset, especially in the business world. I've had the pleasure of interacting with Cliff directly via email and social media, and I've attended two of his paid events. The first workshop was enlightening, revealing that I had a lot more to learn, while the second event, FREE THE DREAM was simply awesome. For anyone considering starting to listen to Cliff's podcast, I highly recommend it. Whether you are looking to start an online business or need to change your mindset about various aspects of life, Cliff's insights are invaluable. I've even found ways to apply lessons from his podcast to my non-online job. This podcast is a must-listen for anyone serious about personal and professional growth. Thank you, Cliff, for all the wisdom and guidance over the years!

    Tone down the ego
Listened to just a handful of episodes and in each one, Cliff just couldn’t help himself by boosting his own ego and making others feel less than. It would probably be a good podcast otherwise, but it’s impossible to get over his superiority, it’s too bad.

    Not that mindset!
I don’t know much about Cliff himself, but I’m always interested in hearing the mindsets of other successful people! Hearing about the gold in the lives of others can be a source of great inspiration… so long as we’re focusing on gold! That said, the first episode I listened to was a successful-sounding gal who’s story was that she was “the single mom who made it against all odds”. Fantastic! How wonderful that a woman who (in my mind) had her husband walk out on her was successful anyway. As the interview goes on, the story starts to fade from a story of success into a story of ongoing and seemingly-planned tragedy. She starts talking about how she would have had found the man of her dreams to have 10 kids with (Yay!! Fantastic!!) and would have worked, building her dreams while she did it (I mean, I guess the “man of her dreams” would stay home with those poor kids, and everyone would miss mom, but okay… that could still be great success). Then she starts talking about how she wants more NOW (wait … the single mom? Maybe she got married…) and that she’s looking into *embryo adoption” (😳🥺😭) and I just couldn’t listen anymore. You know when you’re hearing some story about how innocent people are being carved up with machetes during a civil war in a remote part of the world, and a dad is found dead on top of his kids, after having tried to shield them from a murderous attacker, but was unsuccessful? It was like that, but completely avoidable. This is success? More kids who don’t know who their parents are, growing up without parents, so you can “have more kids”? I’m all about success, but I don’t think that success and selfishness belong in the same sentence (unless you’re telling people they don’t belong in the same sentence). I pray for the poor children who have to live this way, and I pray for their mother!! May she see that the world already has enough parentless kids, and there are orphans (see war reference above) who need her love. May her eyes be opened that she can truly see what a family is and who her children are to her, and may she see and feel — with her whole heart — their need to have a loving mother to care for their every need. 💔

    This dude is insane
Do people know this guy is a crazy religious fanatic who thinks the Earth is 10,000 years old and dinosaurs walked with man? You’re taking business advice from a moron. There are folks leaving reviews asking Cliff to go back to being who he used to be. They are complete morons. If you couldn’t tell he was an egocentric narcissist from day one you are an idiot.

    Spiritual Insights in Business
I really appreciate Cliff’s inclusive and informative style, including his live Clubhouse episodes. I especially enjoyed his affirmations episode, which thoroughly explains why they do work for some but not for others and how to solve this issue. Thank you, Cliff, for positive vibes and leading by example!

A ride into ego and overpricing.
Cliff used to be so informative and helpful on a journey to establish a podcast, but he threw that entire business model out the window in order to copy the Tony Robbins business model. I would call him the poor man’s Tony Robbins, but when he wants $5,000 to hang out with him in San Diego for 8 hours, or $15,000 to work 1-on-1 in his home in Kentucky, you quickly get the feeling Cliff has fallen into a self-absorption fueled by an ego that few will rival. He was a wonderful listen when he was the podcast answer man. Now he’s a self-help salesman in a saturated market that LOVES himself some Cliff. Sad evolution of a once great podcast and genuine guy.

    Extremely Valuable!
I love his compassion, caring and passion to help people. What took me so long to find him?

    Cliff used to be great
Cliff used to be great when he was the Podcast Answer Man but since he pretty much abandoned what made him popular, the show has become an egotistical ride into the life of Cliff. He tries to market himself as Tony Robbins. He’s a great guy, don’t get me wrong, but I feel success has truly gone to his head and Cliff has become so self-absorbed that he only wants to talk about himself. Bring back the old Cliff! You know, the one who was actually interesting to listen to.

    Transformation answer man
Cliff’s personal transformation has taken this podcast to a new level. He walks the talk!

    Talks about himself too much.
Talks about himself 99% of the time. He will let you know how awesome he is.
  • App Rover
    too self-absorbed
He has great experience and knowledge but I have to agree with the other reviewers - he spends too much time talking about how great he is and his big TVs, big house, and big money. And then tries to convince you what a devout Christian he is. Kinda hypocritical and irritating to listen to. Update: can't take it anymore, deleted podcast.

    Open, honest, valuable and insightful!
I've been listening to this podcast for over a year and a half now. I've witnessed his changes in the show and as a podcaster find it very valuable. He's very transparent and loyal to his audience and I LOVE that. Plus he's funny and rather quirky which makes him fun to listen too. He has great interviews and gives great tips and information to help grow your online business and podcast. I highly recommend this show!

    Love Cliff!
Cliff is the podcast. No matter what the topic you get the real, raw Cliff. The fact that he isn't afraid to put himself out there (even though I know it can be uncomfortable) is the best part of this. He shows his highs, lows and all the learning in between. If you want someone who is authentic, then you really need to listen

A balance of podcast and life insights
Amazing show, I'm a Cliff fan for life! I found this show *after* the rebrand and I think it's fantastic. Too much tech and strategy and I start to get bored. But I love hearing the inspirational and motivational content, as well as behind the scenes of what's going on. I loom forward to every show on Friday. PS. Cliff's free podcast tutorial is AMAZING. Check that out if you're new and want to get started with podcasting right away.

    Hate the change
Used to love this podcast. Would listen to it religiously. That was back when it focused on podcasting. Every now and again Cliff would sprinkle some extra content in about his life and his businesses. It was interesting to hear those when they were once in a blue moon. Unfortunately, the new change makes the podcast less interesting. Am truly saddened by Cliff's rebranding of The Podcast Answer Man. Hope that he will someday return to doing a show only about podcasting because I would absolutely listen to that. In spite of my disappointment I do wish him the best in all things.

    Highly informative and motivating
Cliff does a fantastic job breaking down the art of podcasting. He gives great insight into what works for him, what has worked for others and what can work for you. He is passionate and knowledgeable; He is motivated and responsive. Everyone will get different things out of it, so just focus on what works for you and take the information as it comes!

    I’ll always appreciate Cliff
I give a lot of credit to Cliff for giving me the courage and know how to launch my podcast. I just can’t seem to get excited about his current direction, but I fully support his decision to follow his current interests. He has given so much that I feel nothing but appreciation.

He is the Podcast Answerman and Life Coach
I’ve been listening to this show off and on for 3 years. In-fact it’s because of Cliff and his authenticity, I started my own show “The J. B. Sisam Show.” Don’t listen to the negative reviews, they’re from people who want only the technical side of podcasting. But the truth of the matter is, Podcasting is more than a mixer and a Heil PR-40 (My favorite microphone). Podcasting is communicating what God has placed in your heart so that others may be inspired to stay motivated with clarity in life and take everything they do in life, to the next level. Thank you Cliff for such a great show! You have inspired me - so I thought I’d leave a review here. Bless you brother!

    It's gotten derailed
This show is no longer about podcasting, or business. It's just about a guy. Episode 441 was 48:35, no production at all just talk...about changing a user name. The show holds no value for anyone who isn't worshipping Cliff.
  • LiveLoveEatHealthy
    You inspire me!
Cliff's show has been a must-listen for me as a podcast or the past three years. Cliff, I apologize for not having written this review earlier… I have always intended to… Because your content is so helpful, so inspiring, and so well produced, I truly know a great deal of my podcast success and the traction of my tribe to lessons and teachings I've learned from you and from your show. Thank you for doing what you do!

    Great Show!
I discovered this Podcast about a month ago, and I have listened to the last 100 shows that are available. I am in the process of starting my show, and Cliff has been extremely helpful. I see a few 1 star ratings on here from people who seem to only want to hear the technical side of podcasting from Cliff. I completely disagree! Cliff still puts out helpful tech info, but he also speaks a lot about relationships and authenticity, which I have found to be VERY helpful in formulating a solid vision for my upcoming show. Keep up the good work, Cliff. I enjoy hearing about how your shows, and podcasting in general, have impacted your life.
  • AmanLawyer
    30 Minutes
Cliff, I know you are going through some changes here … whatever format you end up deploying, my vote would be to plan your content intentionally with a specific goal in mind for each episode, and keep it to 30 minutes. Just my 2 cents!
  • Awesome cod master
    Encouraging and Informative
Love the education and the "real life" Cliff brings to the show. I can always get the evergreen technical stuff by listening to previous episodes, so I don't need Cliff to constantly re-school me. He keeps the listener up-to-date with the latest trends in the podcasting world, while at the same time allowing us in to his world as a podcaster. It's important to know what the real life of someone in this business looks like so we don't get entranced in the false ideals so many other hosts promote. Thanks, Cliff. You're an inspiration.

Just get to the point, please. And you are not the point.
I really wanted to like this show. I heard so many good things about it. I even subscribed for over a year. But after I found myself saying again and again, “just get to the point, Cliff” and “please stop rambling about yourself” I realized the benefits I may derive from the podcast were minimal compared to the frustration being induced through taking 15-20 minutes to say something that could have been summed up in a tweet. it felt like consuming a pound of rice cakes to get to an ounce of protein. In the end, not worth it. Sorry Cliff. I may check back later to see if things have changed of if I have changed, until then, thanks for getting me started in podcasting, I remain in your debt even if not one your subscribe list.

    No Fancy Talk
I have seen quite a few not so positive reviews for this show and Cliff's style overall. In my opinion, just as others have their opinions, I think the way that Cliff talks to us without talking over us or down to us is refreshing. There is no doubt, and I haven't seen any dispute, that Cliff knows what he is tlaking about and that he lives what he speaks about. He brings value to a good number of his loyal following which helps us grow as individuals on our individual journies. I feel like I am repeating myself, but I also feel like it is all worthwhile saying. Thank you Cliff for the value you bring. I met with my brother the other day and we discussed several things about our personal lives as well as our lives professionally. As I left my meeting with my brother I listened to episodes 421, 422, and 423 which all had key points that resonated with things we talked about. I felt these episodes were so on point I needed to share with my brother so he could benefit from the insite that Cliff provided in these episodes. Bottom line, Cliff thank you for doing what you do and in the way you do it. Everyone has different styles and some will connect and relate and others will find this in others. I certainly connect with the way you deliver and share. Thank you for the value you continue to bring to us.

    Good info….eventually
Cliff is undoubtedly knowledgeable about podcasting as he has a lot of experience and tips to share. The issue, however, is that he can turn a 30 second answer into a 10 minute monologue. I constantly found myself repeatedly skipping ahead every 15 seconds just to get to the next topic. After “listening" to about 4 podcasts, I unsubscribed and just search and skim his site for answers now. If Cliff reads these reviews for honest feedback, I’d suggest dramatically shortening the podcast by getting to the points and moving on. The value of each tip is the same whether it’s 1 minute or 10…anything more than necessary is a reduction in ROI of the listener's time.

    Just another Podcast Evangelist!!!
Such a waste of time! Another podcast of a weak man using "inspirational words" to try and manipulate people to send him $$$ in many worthless forms. Please cliff be a man and stop leeching off of innocent people and get a "real" job. Wake up folks!!! Don't feed into this garbage!!!! Listen to 1 show and count how many times they say inspirational words . So comical.

A Great Resource to Those Looking to Communicate Through Podcasting
Cliff has been an amazing resource to walk his listeners through the life of podcasting and how to bring your message to the world. I have found him to be very honest, authentic and extremely generous. I have learned so much from him and would not be podcasting without his resources!

Cliff was my original influence for getting started in podcasting. Several years and three podcast launches later, I’m still a huge fan and loyal listener. Keep up the great work Cliff. You’ve impacted more people than you’ll every know.
