    Very Informative
    Always an enjoyable listen!

    Oh, the vocal fry
Between the annoying fry and the lazy made-up answers (“I get the sense that…”) to fact-seeking questions…I just can’t.

    I love WIRED Magazine
I had no idea Wired had a Podcast. I love listening to the commentators. Wired has very articulate and intelligent editors, journalists, and guest experts in their particular fields of comment.

    Not a tech person
Lauren and Mike are super accessible for even those of us who are out of the loop with tech but want a splash of the latest information and discoveries. Feels like you are in the same room with a few smart friends that have cool jobs, and great recommendations. Also, they help inform me just enough so when I’m in conversation with my techie partner, I will know what I’m talking about, and maybe even have a few insights!

Not a huge podcast person, but…
I really enjoy this one. Lauren and Mike regularly talk about what I’m thinking and reading about anyway, but they’re smarter and have more information. Also, Lauren’s pronunciation of “button” brings back CT memories. I had a 4th grade teacher who would respond to the same with “Whaddayou, from New Britain?”

    Accessible and entertaining!
I recently turned 30 and realized I’ve hit the point in my life where I’m less focused on nonsense and “fluff” on the internet and instead wanted to shift my focus on more real-world news and topics. Having worked in the IT field for 10+ years now, I wanted to realign my hobbies and interests into the latest trends and news regarding all things tech. Mike and Lauren provide a very knowledgeable, accessible, and entertaining solution to my recent ambitions in a format that is easy to digest and comprehend for maybe someone not as versed in the politics and terms like myself. They also bring on guest speakers and make them feel welcomed, heard, and appreciated on the show which I admire. Another area of note is their voices. This might sound odd to contribute, but I find their voices soothing and in not a terrible, cringe ASMR way. Lastly, they usually end their shows with a “recommendations” section that I find very enjoyable and personable. It’s not often people break away from the corporate talk and business to just ask “hey, what have you found enjoyable in your life lately?” I absolutely recommend this podcast and hope it provides the same entertaining, informational, and soothing experience that it has for me!

    Thanks with a recommendation
I have been listening to your podcast for the past two years, it is a welcome treat to my commute! For Michael Calore, if you have not read ‘The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto’ I strongly recommend. 1. Best book ever, 2. Brought me back to music.

We are loving Gadget Lab, make more seasons please!

    I love this pod!
I listen to lots of tech/science pods so I wasn't surprised to find Lauren & Michael to be smart, insightful & slyly funny. What I didn't expect is their intertwined charisma that comes right over the digital "airwaves." I love this pod. There's much to learn & like on Gadget Lab.

    Don't like "LIKE."
Please, Please, Pleeeezzz instruct your presenters to eliminate the word "like" from their spoken vocabulary.

    Delightful Podcast
Such a great podcast! I love listening to this during my morning commute. Easy to listen to and great topics being covered.

One of the best tech shows
This is easily one of the best tech shows. Not only do they cover gadgets, but also the social impact of technology. I absolutely love the weekly recommendations at the end.

    Peace Out!!!
Now former listener her. They have a very tenuous grasp on their own concept. Too many episodes that aren’t about gadgets or tech. For example the reasoning for The Case of the Not Stolen AirPods, was that because a court proceeding happened involving AirPods it was fair game to be on Gadget Lab. The episode did a deep dive on whether or not law enforcement should be able to ticket students in at school. There was no tech or gadgets in the story beyond AirPods being involved. Don’t even get me started on their recommendations of the week. Keep the PodCast, but rename it Social Issues Lab: Weekly News from WIRED, sometimes related to tech.

    Great show!
Been listening to this show for about two years. Just listened to the future of Hollywood episode, and I felt compelled to leave a review saying that all the journalism majors (and non-journalism majors) at wired are people *who* do know things about tech!

    Want help With Site…!
LOOK! Hey, Gadget Lab. Please, let me start by saying - this is easily a 5 star show. I absolutely love the topics, the host’s friendship-chemistry is incredible, and the audio is wonderful! All are superior! So, why the 1 star? It’s a last ditch effort, tbfh. Because I loved this show so much, I tried to sign up for a digital and print account on Wired.com. This has been an absolutely-crazy-awful-failed experience. It’s so, soooo GDF bad. I have wrote to customer service and that has done nothing. I have searched the SE’s, nope also. Then I tried calling - hung up on. For being a tech focused business it’s incredibly ironic how piss poor the website’s UI/UX (also then counting the Customer Service) is. What’s most sad… I wanted to get a sub to help support this show. The end result has been: - Wired took my money - Wired won’t let me have my purchased sub - I can’t read most material since the paywall is active - I have a very, very bad experience opinion of Wired. - (worse of all) A stellar podcast gets a 1 star so I can last-ditch effort get help… Please, again, I am sorry. I hope someone can work with me on this. Being this is public, I won’t share my PII here. I hope you are authorized to ping me somehow… I don’t know what else to do…

    Relatable technology news great recommendations
No murder, no politics, no bros, I learn interesting things every week and Lauren and Mike are great podcast hosts. The recommendation segment is greatly appreciated too.

    There Are Better Options
I’m really into the material — tech, platforms, phones, streaming, etc. — but the hosts don’t have the personality and expertise that I expect from Wired and that I get from The Verge, The Ringer, Puck, etc., podcasts.

    One of my regulars
Michael and Lauren hit just the right mix of tech product comments with non-tech recommendations at close. It's like grabbing a cup of coffee with friends once a week. Happy 2021 New Year guys. 2023 update Still a five star podcast for me. I look forward to a weekly visit with Michael and Lauren. Thank you guys!

    Nice podcast!
I like tech and this is a great poadcast!

This show is full of factual errors
I was listening to this year‘s review of the consumer-electronics show, and the host said that all of the sleep apnea studies that have been done are on men. This is blatantly false, but the show host was using this to promote a new product at the consumer electronic show. This show has factual errors like this all over the place. The reason? The show hosts listen to marketing people, and don’t do follow up research. If the hosts of the show cannot get basic information like this correct, what use is this show? Where is the editorial process in this? This show is an example of the worst kind of tech journalism. Clean up your act, Wired.

    You guys are awesome
I’ve only been listening for a while but you guys rock you guys are so well knowledgeable…

    Beat around the bush buddies
Michael and Lauren were taking positions against Elon and Twitter, talking about hate that didn’t align with their hate. Michael didn’t want to read about the left deception and left cover up. Not to mention FBI intrigue and election interference and Hunter’s drug addiction and laptop information. That’s pretty big stuff to ignore. But doesn’t fit their narrative. Biased journalism is just propaganda. We are starting to recognize th ineffective vax and Fauci fraud. Where is their FTX outrage that he’s getting a free ride because so much money was sent to the Dems. He’s getting better press than Elon

    Enjoyable
I enjoy each episode and usually learn something new. Sometimes they make me laugh which is awesome, too. I also like that when a physical product or experience is being discussed one of the hosts has had a hands-on experience and can speak on it.

Opinions on tech by people who seem to loathe it
Over the years this podcast has really fallen off the wagon, the hosts seem to hate the content they cover as part of their job. They frequently bring so much snark to what they’re covering (ie “it’s time to talk about X. Ugh do we have to??”), why even bother?

    Great podcast
I love this podcast, it provides a great mix of information, humor, and good sense. Thank you

    Awesome podcast 🤩
This is a good podcast. It is very informative and helpful.

    Uninformed, Unresearched, Inaccurate
WIRED is a legendary tech magazine. So when you hear their journalists talk unrehearsed, you’ll be shocked at how little they know about tech. Their musings are unresearched, uninformed, and often inaccurate or flat out wrong. If you want to listen to a group of millennial English majors try to talk about tech, this is your podcast. If, however, you want good tech journalism from trustworthy sources who know tech, look elsewhere.

Most weeks this is the podcast I enjoy most
Lauren and Mike are inquisitive, clever, and often times make me laugh out loud. My favorite episodes are ones where they look at big concepts for the future of tech, which are most of them. They always cut through the buzz with a sharp blade of skepticism. The conversation is focused, yet it maintains an atmosphere of levity that makes me feel like I’m chatting with (or eavesdropping on) good friends. I wish it was produced twice a week.

    A really great podcast
This is my favorite podcast. Love the hosts and appreciate hearing their opinions & stories. Topic selection is spot on for me, I feel caught up on tech news & issues & gadgets. I like that they cover all the major tech conferences, and interviews are usually pretty interesting. And I love the recommendations segment. All in all this is a very enjoyable podcast for me. I’ve been listening for a few years now. Thank you Mike, Arielle & Lauren!!

    Great Podcast. Bad production.
I love the content of this podcast. But, I listen to most podcasts while running with my airpods. So far, this is the only podcast I've found that has issues with sound leveling. One person will be talking quietly, so I have to turn the volume up. Next person talks and nearly blows out my eardrums. I'm constantly jockeying the volume up and down, which is very annoying. Please figure this out, and once you do, send me a response. I'd like to give you five stars.

    Good with Goode
Glad Lauren Goode has found a podcast home again after leaving The Verge.

    My best friends
This is such a great fun and funny podcast about the biggest tech news of the week. So glad I don’t need to read the news anymore and that I can just catch up with the jokes and puns of Mike, Arielle, and Lauren. 👍👍👍😘

    Too Political
If you’re seeking a tech podcast without an extreme political bent, this is not your podcast.
  • eastmankodiak
    Needs an Audio Engineer
The most recent episode released a few days ago only has the audio of Lauren and not anyone else so it’s a lot of silence and awkward pauses.
  • zdbdc
    Great topics, need different hosts
The topic selection is great, but I always come away disappointed with the content. Latest example: sleep paradox. Would have loved to hear more about the tech / gadgets rather than the hosts cats sleeping habits. I find the hosts rambling, unfocused, and tedious to listen to.

    Best podcast
The best podcast about technology period. I love all the co-host from the show since the beginning.

    I'm a New Listener & I Love This Podcast
My title tells you I've not had a ton of experience listening yet, but the experiences I have had have been excellent. My favorite episode to date is the one that’s sort of a review of the best tech in 2017. I got a lot of great tips and advice from it as well as an idea for a birthday present for my son! If you don’t have a lot of time to stay on top of tech news I think this podcast is a really good method for doing that!

Less is more, and clean it up
There are some nuggets of good information here but way too much filler and the profanity is jarring and unprofessional. Some younger pod casters are under the misimpression that throwing in the occasional obscenity lends authenticity to their work. But it is like nails on a chalkboard to listeners trying to glean useful information about tech trends. So use an editor, and acceptable vocabulary and you might have a podcast on your hands.

    Great
These guys are very entertaining and informative. I have used many of there recommendations and have not been let down yet!

Really great tech show. Hosts are LOL
Hey all you broken URL haters...Stop taking it out on this awesome podcast and subscribe like a normal person.

    Great stuff!
I look forward to Friday's for these guys. Their every week schedule with guest themed shows since the new year has been a nice shift. I'd only ask that they add some news to the podcasts more frequently, if only for a bit at a time, I like hearing their opinions outside of articles. Keep up the good work!

    best tech
i listen to about 4 tech podcasts but this one is by far the best

    Dedicated Listener
I really enjoy that both of the guys don't stop at "This is good" or "This is bad". They actually, with education, say WHY they think one way or the other and what they think the future will be. And I get some really cool ideas or new toy ideas.
