    Good podcast
Iā€™m only 10 but, I like this podcast. but usually, I fall asleep before the episode end.( Iā€™ve been doing that since I was a baby). Also, you should make a hockey episode. You have over 2,000 episodes, and the best you have is a Zamboni short stuff. Donā€™t know many websites for research, but Inside Out 2 is pretty spot-on.

    The quality of research varies
I loved this podcast until they did an episode on one topic that Iā€™m already knowledgeable about. When I listened to their homeschooling episode, I was shocked to hear it described in only neutral-to-positive terms. Homeschooling can be done in a way that is beneficial for the child, thatā€™s true. But homeschooling is loosely regulated, and children mostly arenā€™t required to come into contact with mandatory reporters. Abuse and neglect (educational, medical, and otherwise) are rampant in homeschool communities, especially fundamentalist religious ones. The state often doesnā€™t even know some of these kids exist (two of my friends were home births and didnā€™t get a birth certificate until they were 7 and 8). With regards to history, the hosts failed to mention that a major part of the rise of homeschooling in the 70s-80s was white flight following desegregation. Homeschooling is largely a right-wing phenomenon, with a lot of parents pulling their children out of schools to avoid ā€œindoctrinationā€ or ā€œliesā€ like evolution. I know the hosts have a researcher but itā€™s impossible to do quality research when youā€™re putting out this volume of episodes, but this episode soured the show for me. This info isnā€™t niche by any means, and I canā€™t really trust what I hear on the show anymore. Source: I was homeschooled, also The Coalition for Responsible Home Education, Homeschoolā€™s Invisible Children, and the John Oliver segment on homeschooling

    A review
This podcast is great like amazing I have been listening to this podcast for 1.5 years but sometimes when I look at the reviews they say ā€œthey get off topicā€ and other stuff like that but I think all the stuff makes it better. Itā€™s kinda like youā€™re there with them and having a topic on some random facts or other stuff and I feel like thatā€™s great. youā€™re not being dragged along like other podcasts but youā€™re having a conversation with them pretty much . So what I guess what Iā€™m saying is donā€™t change from what you two have going on. P.S. you guys are the best!!!!

    Transcripts
Now I know this probably isnā€™t your fault, but it makes me sad that the transcript isnā€™t allowed on your newest episode. I love reading it while listening! It helps me remember so much from the episode, also just wanted to let you know that my uncles and I have been listening to your podcast for 2 years now! We love it so much. From Douglas Baker

    Dandelions
My aunt and uncle started a winery in Dover, Ohio 40 years ago. Itā€™s the gateway to Amish country, so itā€™s considered Amish Country wine. Anyways, they always have made a dandelion wine which they add honey to so itā€™s the sweetest wine they make. It definitely takes the bitterness away. Just a little tidbit for you.

    Facts Optional
These guys act like authorities but cannot get through a single show without major factual mistakes, embarrassing mispronunciations, and swirling into woke indoctrination. The show DRAGS with them talking about themselves but congrats, Comrades, because youā€™ve been around long enough to make this your day job, youā€™ve convinced millions of people that you are sharing true tales, and you spread your propaganda in a cute & gosh-darn folksy way. Who needs fact when you can be manipulated instead.
  • kachens
    Lazy storytelling
They canā€™t even be bothered to have narrative flow. Sounds like Iā€™m trying to tell my friends about a lecture I half-listened to ten years ago.
  • lahlah408408
    Too many errors
I used to find the misstatements and errors somewhat funny and charming, but itā€™s just too sloppy.

    Lifeboat
Lifeboat idea is great and the movie ā€œlifeboatā€is a great example of the tragedy of the commons. One of Hitchcockā€™s early pieces.
  • Hughes225
    Really good
These are a well presented fun/light discussion on all kinds of things from history to science. If you are interested in the topic, give it a listen.

    Gotta boycott
Ads for Zyn on a show that is otherwise family friendly and wholesome isnā€™t cool.
  • PopTaco24
Love the show, hate the new tobacco ads
This is a show I often enjoy listening to with my child. Itā€™s really disappointing to suddenly hear a tobacco ad at every commercial break. The cheery, upbeat voice and frequency of the ad serve to normalize the use of smokeless tobacco which is not something I want for my kid. I understand podcasters donā€™t always have control over ad choices, but It would be great if you could switch it out. Itā€™s not a great fit for a family-friendly show. Thanks.

They lost me with big pharma ads
Iā€™ve adored this podcast for many years. Itā€™s been an escape from the drone of television. A space explore new ideas. But the big pharma advertising is too accosting and offensive. Adieu.

    Lovely!
These two know how to properly co host and not stray too far from the topic. Banter and chemistry are quite impressive. Very professional job guys! Really great podcast!

    This.is. Amazing.
I still canā€™t believe that you have 2k episodes! So happy it is clean rated and could you please do an episode on the Vietnamese mossy viper. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Love it
Interesting- engaging and they donā€™t take themselves too seriously but the do, however take their research and knowledge they are talking about very seriously.

    Love these guys
So todayā€™s listen is Automats. In 1969 ( math moment, I was 15) I had a meal in a Lindon automat. The way this one worked was that you could see through the whole thing ( window by window) into a kitchen in the back with white-apronā€™d workers setting up the plates and refilling each slot as it emptiedā€¦ still think it was a great thing, very proletarian, very inclusive, and, ā€œbroke the frameā€

The alpha and omega of podcasts.
Just saying; Iā€™ve been a fan since there was only one podcast as far as I was concerned (and that wasnā€™t far off). In the many years since: some podcasts have tried to reach SYSK status in my heart, butā€¦. ā€œThey tried and failed?ā€¦ā€ ā€œThey tried and died!ā€ Lol. Dune quotes aside- Josh and Chuck hit the sweet spot; the goldilocks zone of infotainment listening pleasure. In my heart they will always be the first, the ultimate, and all the many years in between: best of the best. Like an old friend but smarter: like family but without the therapyā€¦. Thanks for maintaining the goods so solidly for so long. Xā€™s and Oā€™s Larz From Mars

    Just A Delight
I adore Josh Clark and Charles Bryant as much as one can adore two people one never has and likely never will meet. Should they see this, thanks for the knowledge and the laughs. Dillon

    Great podcast
Hi, Iā€™m a person from California that loves the show, I just listened to the Simpson spectacular and so far Iā€™m really liking it. The only problem is itā€™s really hard for me to find new episodes because I have listen to so many great podcast and I would recommend it to a lot of people
  • Pablo PDH
There is a movie about that!
Regarding WWII Sabotage Spotlight: Operation Gunnerside, thereā€™s a great Norwegian movie titled ā€œNumber 24ā€ that tells the story of a similar operation and the Norwegian resistance.

    this canā€™t be legit
After the corny banter the one that sounds like he was made for radio states ā€œThe Gary Mathis case ā€¦ thatā€™s what they call itā€ this is why Crime Junkie stays on top. Holy ā€¦ šŸ®

    Educational, Fun and Funny
Love the podcast! Iā€™ve been listening for years and have learned so much! I thoroughly enjoy Josh and Chuckā€™s banter and itā€™s rare that I listen to an episode and donā€™t laugh.

    Favorite podcast, favorite podcast hosts
Thanks for so many years of entertainment. Iā€™ve been listening for about 10 years. I love the chemistry that these guys have together. I find myself laughing at least 1-2 times per episode, even during what should be a dour episode on some grim topic. Even the most boring and lack luster themed topics that I want to skip are made to be interesting and Iā€™m glad I did not. They also appear to be good human beings which seems to be becoming more and more rare in recent years. Thanks again. Reed from rural Arcata California
  • Yeti & me
A lot of informative and fun episodes
These guys come up with a lot of episodes on uncommon topics. There is a lot to learn. When there is a little mistake that mistake is corrected in a future episode. Iā€™m very surprised there are a few one star ratings. I guess you canā€™t please everyone.

    The absolute best
This is the most fun podcast ever. The chemistry between Josh and Chuck is awesome. Donā€™t miss out
  • dutchgirl75
    Fun
Instead of listening to more and more murder podcasts (which can make me paranoid) I thought I better try to learn something. I keep learning more stuff and I love it. These guys are funny. This show can make you an interesting conversationalist.

    Interesting info and witty repartee
So glad I found this podcast. Josh and Chuck do a fantastic job of covering the topics in a very entertaining way-love the ā€˜playful banterā€™. :-) Thank you so much for all your efforts. The only thing I might mention is that assuming this podcast is heard by a broad, varied mix of listeners(because itā€™s so good), it might be good to not disparage political figures. Since the country seems fairly evenly divided , you could be offending 1/2 your audience. Keep up the great work!

    BEST PODCAST EVER!
I have listened to all past episodes several times. Iā€™ve several times Iā€™ve started at the beginning and listened to every episode in order. Itā€™s amazing how much you can miss the first time! Highly recommend listening. Josh and Chuck have great rapport. Jeri does an amazing job with editing. Best trio around!

I love these guys! The unique topics, the obscure details, the corny jokes. A refreshing break from True Crime and Politics (which are increasingly becoming the same thing)

    Helps me sleep
I always listen to this while I sleep and itā€™s always the same energy that calms me down and I risk my battery life to listen and if I donā€™t listen to this I probably will die lol, anyway question for them. PLEASE DO A PODCAST ABOUT CATS!!!!!!

    Hard pass
Would be great if there werenā€™t moments of unapologetic misogyny (Barbie episode aka ā€˜dumpy womenā€™). A real shame - Iā€™d like to believe they could do better. Wonā€™t be sticking with them to find out.
  • Sportsmobile
    Inaccurate
This show was interesting until I realized some of their ā€œfactsā€ are incorrect, so it lost the appeal as I donā€™t want to get bad insights.
  • KingMax2013
    Stuff you should watch!
