    30% ads 50% useless chatter
Only a tiny fraction of the show is valuable, and that too going over news articles. A lot of wasted time. But that’s just me.

Tom and Scott do an incredible job leading conversations that cover a huge breadth of topics related to the ins and outs of building a thriving career in data security, and life you can be proud of - from leaders who’ve actually walked the path. Great for those not in digital security weeds as well those who are
These guys are my favorite source of risk info in the wild! As a business consultant in the security industry, it helps to use real world stories to explain potential security risk to someone not in the weeds. Tom and Scott are fun to listen to, they have some excellent questions for their guest speakers, and the mild dose of paranoia relief is always a key takeaway from this show. I highly recommend you tune in for the weekly blaze or their longer format to arm yourself with useful information no matter what kind of work or hobbies you have.

    Great listening.
Scott and Tom are enjoyable to listen to. The Social Media Security Website is a great adjunct to the podcast.

    Promising
I've been looking for a podcast on the privacy and security issues that I deal with in Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. This podcast is promising. The first half of the first episode is geared a little too heavily toward people who work in the Internet security field, but the second half talks about breaches and privacy issues that everyday users of social media like me deal with - and fear. For example, they talk about Facebook applications that can steal your private information or that direct you to malware sites. The two podcasters are obviously very experienced in their field. I feel like this podcast could evolve into serving an audience of security experts or evolve into a great source of information for everyday users trying to educate and protect themselves. I think it's pretty obvious what I'm hoping for. For now, I'm giving the podcast three starts, but I hope to upgrade my opinion as the podcast develops. (If I had the option, I'd give them 3.5 stars)
