Have tried to get into this podcast a few times. It's not as funny as Smith's endless laughing would make you think it would be.

We got old and tire early. 15 years ago the audience was younger, childless, hadn’t gone through a pandemic. A 10pm start time is a late 20s early 30s year old’s game.

These are two big personalities, and it doesn’t work. Ralph is too much of a voice guy, and Kevin is too much of a story guy. Kevin’s other podcasts work better because when he has a partner who is not as loud, like Moser or Marc. I tried a couple of times to listen, couldn’t do it.

Would love to see this show live but please don’t gauge us East coasters Peace & love from the Bronx

Listener since 2011. Love this show, did not realize how much I would miss it during Covid. Even the banter with the in-house audience is music to the ears after such a long break. Glad the show is back even if not as frequent as before.

I listen mainly for the hilarity between friends. ☺️

Week after week, I hit play or download and it’s always temporarily unavailable. What gives?!?!?! I love this show but I can NEVER listen to it

Hollywood Babble-On has always been my go to podcast on my hour and a half commute to my job, but now with the Caped Commentaries I’m able to bring the fun home! Such a great way to watch the Batman ‘66 series! 🦇🎙

Was once an avid listener of all viewaskew stuff. Stopped for a long time. Tried dining back to it. Not my cup of tea. Kevin seems a little old to be falling into all the Hollywood woke cliches. It’s impacted him and he’s just not as funny. :( glad he’s healthy even though he looks weird

of all of Kevin’s shows, this is the one where his weed addiction affects it the most. He constantly repeats the same thing every show - the girl in the atomic pile, Alfred is tall, they’re beating up a boy…

These episodes are taking me back to classic Fatman on Batman. Going in depth on not just Batman, but a specific aspect OF Batman, talking to someone who reveres the subject matter - although of course Ralph Garman is always a delight to listen to, no matter what he’s talking about. It’s also wonderful hearing the rambling - oft poetic and passionate - tangents the episodes take Super-fan Ralph and super stoned Kevin. I started listening to Kevin’s podcasts back in the day when I was at a dark, dark time in my life, and now with 2020 being what it is, how appropriate for the podcasts again to lift me up, via the magic of the dark, dark knight.

The only thing that has made me laugh/cry as much as their flour vignette are when Kevin and Scott read Canadian crimes.

My only complaint is they don’t do it enough! Love Hollywood Babylon and enjoying watching the back catalogue on YouTube but I need my Batman 66 fix!

I have never laughed so hard and long as I do with this podcast Doing the Caped Commentary is FIRE!!!!

I’ve listened to every show and I’m always laughing. The juxtaposition between Kevin’s lite, wide-eyed perspective and Ralph’s jaded and unforgiving attitude toward nonsense created great chemistry and moments. Plus Ralph’s many great impressions. Try it on.

Been a fan and listener for about 5 years, and have even had the Liam Neeson-sized pleasure of seeing the show live a few times. Any time I need a laugh and/or the best geek news updates, this show delivers. The way Kevin and Ralph can adapt the show to fit the times is fantastic, as the Capes Commentaries have been a great way to keep the weekly babble bubblin’, Batman.

I love the show and the hosts.

Big fan. Grew up a Mallrats kid, my brother bought Mallrats on vhs from the disc jockey at our local mall, which subsequently was demolished years later and now a walmart now occupies its hallowed ground. Loved the Clerks cartoons. Always wanted to ask if Kevin would do another toon series.

Hands down my favorite podcast! This podcast bred my love for podcasts many years ago. Kevin and Ralph deliver over and over again. Thanks for all the free funny!

The brave artist I enjoyed in my youth has become a cowardly pandering hack.

I've been listneing to Hollywood Babble-On for a few years now. I usually listen to it after a long Monday. Ralph and Kevin are always entertaining and do such a great job in delivering the entertainment news. The various skits and characters, especially Ralph's 8 impressions are memorable. They aren't shy of giving their opinions either. Give Babble a listen and Babble the **#* on!

Listen to one full show so you feel like you’re not missing anything. Then you can skip the 1st 25 minutes of repetitive birthday shoutouts and lame David Bowie impression. When you hear the celebrity death announcements you can start to listen again.

I love this podcasts. I’ve found myself plenty of times laughing out loud at work. I know the shout outs seem to be a qualm for some but I personally find them hilarious.

I started listening about 2 years ago and after reading so many of the comments I just don’t understand some of the pediness! I absolutely love everything from beginning to end! I mean some things are hard for the listener but makes me excited to see a live show! So thanks for so many free funnies!

Ok...big problem here is the shout outs absorb the show now. At this point, the audience writes most of the “humor” and it’s never funny. It’s all just repeated requests for something sexual, overused impressions and nonsense jingles. It seems like die hard Kevin Smith fans enjoy listening to this...but just seems only entertaining if you’re there at the live show. HOWEVER, the shows first 100’ish episodes are pretty much solid gold...but now they’ve been stripped away from iTunes and SoundCloud. The only way to enjoy them is by signing up for Stitcher Premium...no thanks. I love K Smith’s stuff but this is another example of milking your audience for too much. $4.99 a month is not worth a trip to the past for an audio experience.
