I stumbled across this podcast about a year ago, and boy was I impressed. Don Shor has a knack for picking fantastic tracks that take you back to the days when music literally spoke to you. Each week’s show is a fantastic aural journey back in time. Keep up the great work.

I love the idea that a jazz expert is sharing the best of jazz to an audience. It’s great that the host shares the music and then plays it for you. It allows me to appreciate it more.

Now this is the show I’ve been searching for for so long! A wonder host takes the listener through remarkable selections of jazz that can satisfy any jazz mood or preference. This show is absolutely a gem of a podcast, I recommend this to all my friends!

I bought the albums. I bought the cassettes. I bought the CDs. But none of those will play on my iPad. Thank goodness this podcast exists. But, we need more, please. To pay again for streaming services is the last straw.

I downloaded several episodes of Jazz After Dark in preparation for a long trip because I knew I’d be away from my beloved hometown jazz station. I’m so glad I did. It was the soundtrack for my travels and I have been a dedicated listener ever since.

I own many vintage jazz records. Painstakingly collected over the years. Why did I bother -- I could have just subscribed to this! I discovered Jazz After Dark entirely by accident. Thank you KDRT and Don Shor for creating this show.

It’s a good way to enjoy jazz

Great jazz podcast. However, there seems to be problems with the way it is setup that it does not automatically download on iPhone podcast app. All my other podcasts download the new episodes except this one. I have to check the available episodes every week and manually add them. Please fix the problem. Other than that, one of the best jazz podcasts available.

Great insight and has been a way for me to discover new music and artists. Thank you for the show.
