breaktimeThe Best?I understand experts selling themselves as “ The best music and post production tips, tricks and news on the web,” At best they’re another voice in the crowd. The podcast looks abandoned as they use to update weekly. The were some pretty “weak tea” episodes especially on things that “impressed” when they spoke authoritatively on items they neither owned or tried… well anybody including “non experts” can do that… I’ve grown tired of these experts and have moved on, I invite you to do the same.

Fellow Camera NerdGreat PodcastBut....when they do have women on they barley let them talk. They'll ask her a question and before she's done answering the men cut her off and go on their own rambles. At first I didn't think much of it. Until I noticed it happening on many many episodes. I recommend asking your lady colleagues what they think.

Scott`s new MBpro-I absolutely love Production Experts podcast!Again! I absolutely love Production Experts podcast! I have learned so much from Julian and friends through these shows. It’s like hanging in the room as everyone tosses productive conversation/fixes/Tricks as well as entertaining content. Thank you so so much for Production Experts!! Scott Brundage Sarasota Florida

Art.EiExpert ConversationEach episode is driven by a question of the week, rich conversation with real experts, ends with a find of the week. I find it very useful and informative in contrast to the ever-changing quick bits elsewhere.

BigBagsStudioGot to do betterAlthough I recently graduated with a degree in this industry, I had lost the desire to work with the people in it. I started listening to this podcast with hopes that it would show that I had the wrong idea about those people. Sadly I was mistaken, I was very disappointed by the lack of a few key things that I do no care to put in this review. But I will say thanks for confirming my thoughts about people in this industry.

Michael CarnesRotating cast assures broad points of viewOver the years, the cast of hosts has grown for Production Expert. The show now includes people working in TV/Film post, Radio, Mastering and various music forms. There is also useful input from many other figures in the audio industry. Each host has significant experience and, because the mix of people (usually 3 per episode) changes, no particular approach dominates. The subjects might include Atmos mixing, microphones, cleanup techniques, billing customers, product announcements or workflow. There are always useful surprises. No matter what your own interest might be as a listener, there’s always a lot to learn from people working in another corner of audio. The tone of the show is unfailingly civil and supportive. It’s an hour well-spent each week.

jcknight19Love this podcast, it really is the best out thereWhile the majority of the people in the podcast are pro tools users working in professional studios, if that doesn’t describe you in a home project studio like me, definitely don’t let that get in the way of getting some of the most experienced and nuanced commentary on music production in a broader sense. These guys know their trade in and out and are absolute gentlemen freely sharing their views with us. I learn new things and bits of historical context all the time. Thanks, everyone!

HeyChrisGNot just for Pro Tools usersIf audio production and recording is your thing, you need to subscribe to this podcast. I am not a Pro Tools user but the information I get from this podcast keeps me informed about what is current in the world of audio production. Plugins, interfaces, computers, and methods of working are not unique to the pro tools community. Even when the information from a community member is about specific upgrades to Pro Tools 12 etc.. I find myself learning still from the thought process that go into making good decisions. Listening to this podcast should be among the weekly habits of everyone in the audio production field.

BWV565Aptly TitledThe guys are very knowledgeable the content is intended for people well versed in the topic. So, not much here for beginners. The reason for the 4 star rating is that this podcast sounds like an advertisement for Pro Tools. If you’ve already decided to buy Pro Tools 11 and want your buying decision reinforced, this is your podcast. If you are looking for balance and critique, then you’ll need to look elsewhere.
