This podcast has undoubtedly become my all-time favorite. I eagerly wait for each episode to drop and often find myself refreshing the page repeatedly, just to get the latest content as soon as it’s available. The hosts are fantastic—three main voices complemented by a rotating guest from a circle of friends. The chemistry among Matt, Chris, and Mikel is authentic, with a perfect blend of comedic timing. Each host brings valuable industry experience to the table, yet the show remains independent, which allows for captivating and original stories. I cannot recommend this show highly enough!

My week is not complete if I don’t hear Matt, Chris, and Mikel talk about the latest games, getting all up in my mom’s guts, and being my step-dads.

Antista is very funny and relatable, Mikey is great live his parent views , Mikel is the glue that holds everything together. I pay for two things to listen too this and Howard stern on Sirius. Laser time has been giving me more entertainment value, I get absolutely lost in these shows they are very good. I like 30 /20/10 too .

As a gaming podcast its awesome. Just less politics please it will always alienate half of your audience.

Vidjagame podcast ever

I listen every week. I am a lady gamer and I appreciate these guys. Even if they are discussing a game I have no desire to play, I like hearing them. The chemistry between hosts leads to charming and funny banter. There is no obnoxious dudebro boys club going on here. When lady guests are on it feels authentic and not token.

Love this show and the people who make it! Lots of great discussions and reminiscing about vidjagames.

The weekly “Top 5” segments make this stand out from other video game podcasts. After so many shows it might have grown tired and gimmicky, but with the hosts keep finding creative new themes to build ranks out of. Look forward to it every week.

Been following them since 2008 and don’t see going anywhere else honestly. They got me through my 20’s and now they’re getting me through the pandemic into my 30’s. Love you guys.

I really like this show for the hosts, that I was already a fan of, as I am in the same age bracket

I think the podcast is great. It’s a lot of fun. The only reason I’m rating it a 4 and not a 5 is because the ads, clips and sound effects are significantly louder than the normal talking volume. Sometimes it makes me jump when they put in a clip or sound effect. I turn it down, but then I have to turn it back up again. I have only been listening since July and some episodes are better than others for some reason.

It’s always an entertaining listen and each one of the hosts is likeable in the way where if feels like you and your friends are each having a fun informative decision about video games each week.

Come for the top fives stay for the news! It’s an all in one video game magazine that you can listen to and I never miss a week.

Very funny and fun to listen to. It is also a good way to hear about video game related news and new releases. A great addition to the Laser Time network and no other video game podcasts can compare. Really love the host Mikel and the usual co-hosts Chris and Matt, plus their guest. Just really great.

Mikel, Matty, and Chris are always a delight to listen to but lately the shows have been especially engaging as they bring up the relevance games have to wider world events. They’re all really passionate about the field and spotlight all sorts of interesting titles on the top 5 lists that I personally missed so there’s always something new to hear about even beyond the news elements. They’re excellent commentators and really delve into stuff in interesting ways

Anything Lasertime related is always entertaining. The hosts all have backgrounds in video game journalism and the industry so they have great insight and even better senses of humor.

I’ve been listening for a few months now and I realized today that I just can’t do it any longer. Chris Antista is such a loudmouth bully that he singlehandedly has ruined the show for me. He seems to have this need to make outrageous angry statements and create arguments for no reason. I feel bad for the rest of the hosts.

I have been a listener for a long but don't have Apple products, so i had to dust of the ol' computer tower and boot up the Dell to write this review. Anyway, I love this podcast and will continue to be a supporter of the whole network

Always entertaining, countdowns every week is a great format. Plus news and more. Really funny hosts, not annoying like many who lean into the nerd shtick.

I happened upon this show by chance really early on (ep 2 or 3?) when I was looking for more videogame podcasts to listen to, and though I've fallen off all the rest, this one continues to be one of my absolute favorite podcasts period. The hosts are always great and the show is positive, done by people who love playing video games and are incredibly knowledgable. I'm not great at reviewing, but I wanted to share a score and just a few thoughts about a thing I love relentlessly. Even when I get too busy and miss several episodes, I always go back and listen to what I missed, because even when the news and new releases aren't AS relevant to me, I always want to hear their thoughts on the matter(s). TLDR: if you want a well-crafted videogame podcast run by people who know games and the industry, that is overall positive and won't drag down your mood, this is 100% the show for you.

The top fives are well thought out and interesting, the rest is angry video game bros.

I love everything about the shows on the Laser Time Network. The cast is highly-entertaining, insightful, and actually has made me care more about things I didn't know I even cared about. I wouldn't call myself a Nightmare on Elm Street fan, but I find their An Elm Street Nightmare podcast riveting, without even having any context. Good shows all the way around.

This is the only gaming podcast I listen to anymore. Mikel and the Laser Time crew always put together great episodes. Even with the news being out of date on older epsiodes, I still like listening to them for the Top 5s

I feel like I'm with a group of friends discussing games whenever I listen to the podcast. It certainly helps kill the boredom.

Don't always agree but love to listen the LaserTime crew is unstoppable, hilarious and a must listen

The show sometimes has some legitimate clever/funny moments and opinions about games and pop culture, but it is a chore to listen to its (very loud) cohost, burping and cursing to get there. Sprinkle that with (sometimes uninformed) political commentary and drugs references you get this show.

I use to love this show so much but Chris's immature rants on politics and everything else he have ruined it for me. Dave and Michael are awesome but they can't cancel out the annoyance of Chris anymore.

Great podcast from a fun group of people that really know their stuff when it comes to games. There are lots of video game podcasts out there, but none more entertaining than VGA.

I've been subscribed to Laser Time's Patreon for many months now and love all the content they make. An excellent vidja game focused one, this is.

Mikel Raparez and the Lazer Time network come up with the BEST top 5 lists every week to discuss nuance and minutia in video games in a thoroughly entertaining way that always gets me laughing ever episode. Thanks for the hours of entertainment this past year and I'm a guaranteed to listen to every episode from here until the end of the internet. Happy 200th Episode!!!

A slightly more controlled version of Talkradar and it's fantastic.

This introduced me to the Laser Time people, and it is a great listen. More structure than the 4 hour "chat" shows that dominate this genre, but still hilarious and casual.

It reminds me of 1up podcasts from yesteryear; vulgar beyond belief and willing to take some heat in order to profess opinions. only halfway through the backlog as I currently work a minimum wage job where podcasts are the key to maintaining my sanity, but unless something seriously wrong happens, I see my current opinion about the show holding up through the present episodes.
