    Great Show! Highly recommend!
Looong time listener and big fan. Great for people new to personal finance, but also great for those wanting to continue building better financial habits. Love the content and format (except for Doug’s lame trivia 🤣). Keep it up guys. It’s important work! One recommendation, add time stamps to your show notes so frequent listeners can skip straight to a segment if they are only interested in that segment for a particular episode. See ya!✌️

    Good for 101
I’ve listened for several years. Overall quality is deteriorating (guests not as good, new Friday guy not good at all, not enough Paula and no more Len). I’ve gotten a lot from the show, and thank everyone but Doug for that. Give it a shot, you’ll probably find value. Stop once every episode starts sounding just like the last one. I’m taking a pause.
  • Bogle37
    Educational
Thank you so much for the practical education that is discussed. The trivia is the BEST, FUNNIEST esp when Paula analyzes her answer.
  • Tuned2Jazz
Smart & Practical conversations. Well run by hosts.
I’ve listened to 3 episodes so far. I’m finding it to be one of the best podcasts on financial stewardship I’ve listened to in a while.

    Good content
The automation show could have been shorter.

    Wanted to like it…
I haven’t heard a financial podcast that is so overstimulating. It’s like a morning drive time show. There are better options out there.

    Just right!
Once upon a time there was a girl looking for financial education. She went on the hunt for the right podcast. The first podcast she discovered was too boring. The second podcast focused on saving by way of deprivation. She tried 1 last podcast and found that to be a great mix of education & entertainment so she consumed ALL of the content. Thanks Stacking Benjamins for making a podcast that is just right!

Not half bad - actually more than half good :)
Joe and OG keep refreshing the show hard to believe nearly 1,600 episodes and 15 yes FIFTEEN years...hard hitting financial news this is not, but you just might learn a little in between all the laughter. OG is my favorite.

    Meh…
Like the morning talk show of Financial Podcasts, you will quickly find that this lineup of characters has little to offer you but personality tropes and half-hearted jokes. After OG is done lecturing for 15 minutes, and Joe finishes pretending to gush over whatever “coach” he is pimping, you have to ask yourself, where did my hour go? They can do better, but you have to load up a bunch of filler if you want to produce 3 shows/week. Also, don’t say any if this is the Facebook group because you might hurt Joe’s feefees. Keep looking, you will find better.

    Fire Paulette
I’m probably one of the few people on earth who would even care about such a niche thing, but her writing is simply atrocious. Either her sense of humor is awful, or she thinks the Stacking Benjamins audience responds really well to lowest common denominator garbage. I’m no prude, so it’s not like I’m offended by her comedic stylings. I am offended by how terrible it is, however. Here Joe, I’ll save you some money and write a Paulette esque joke for you: Joe: You know Doug, it’s been a long hard week with the markets tanking and the panic surrounding the collapse of crypto companies. Doug: You know what is also long and hard? My pe— Joe: Ok! That’s quite enough. Moving on. Doug: What? I was going to say my pencil. Hilarious right? It’s a shame because the rest of the show is great. The attempts at comedy are so so so bad. Maybe it’s not all Paulette’s fault, but they love giving her all the credit for writing what they say. Update: STOP SPAMMING THE FEED WITH OTHER PODCASTS!

Perfect amount of advice, info and, humor
Stacking Bennys gives the right amount of life and financial advice whilst peppering in a fair and equitable amount of dad humor. I’ve been listening for 6+ years and will continue to do so. I often refer to this podcast when chatting with others regarding financial decisions or for recommendations on movies, tv shows, and books. Keep up the fine work!

Best Personal Finance Podcast out there
I don’t agree with everything that’s suggested, but I love this show! A good mix of comedy and real life money strategies.

    Advertising Overload Now
I’ve been with Stacking Benjamins for many many years, almost a decade now. I’ve enjoyed the banter between Joe OG Doug and friends. However, the additional “You Might Like This” podcasts are too much. It’s to the point I am considering unsubscribing. If it was an occasional thing, it’d be one thing. It’s EVERY day, and annoying. PLEASE STOP THIS.

    So much work
What happened to two, fun guys reading headlines and talking personal finance? Listening has turned into a slog fest with the hope of finding a nugget of new information in these cluttered, 80-minute episodes. I just can’t will myself to push through my backlog of unlistened episodes. I wish they’d go back to more simple times.

    Entertaining and fun!
I listen to all of the podcasts and they are a good mix of information and fun. One of my favorites!

Learning how to save one Benjamin at a time.
One of the best investment podcasts out there! I have been listening for a few years now. Full of fun and interesting trivia as well as great advice for saving and investing for personal finance.

Good content - please minimize the chit chat at the outset
I like the concepts and content. It's just hard to hang in with the chitchat.

    Brilliant! Not “Brilliant”
I’ve been listening to Stacking Benjamin’s for almost 2 years. As a younger listener, i love their 101 approach to personal finance. They keep it simple, lighthearted, and fun. Even though OG can be a curmudgeon, I enjoy his practical, no nonsense approach.

It's like chatting with friends over coffee
I feel as though I’m in the room with these fine folks. They give great entertainment while keeping me on track with my finances. Having been an over-spender, I listen to this podcast to keep me focused on saving and not spending. Thank you to this team for putting together interesting topics every week!

So much more than just $Money!
Joe and OG, I discovered your podcast 2 years ago and I absolutely love it! I don’t miss an episode. I’m 50 years old, father of 4 boys. In trying to maintain the delicate balance of daily life, I find so many useful tidbits through your show, and it’s super fun and entertaining as well! One question I have is…do you have a list of your favorite shows from the past? Maybe you could make a Top 50 list for the first 5 years?? Do you already have that and I haven’t found it? Thanks for what you do guys! Skip in Omaha

    Informational and Entertaining
Do you want to learn more about personal finance and have some fun while doing it? This is the finance podcast for you. They have fantastic guests and discuss all kinds of topics, some that might not appear to be financial related but are very informative and helpful for personal growth. There is a reason they are still around for so many years.

    Money Magic
Listening to these guys is like listening to your grandpa and great uncles tell a story, not saying you are old, but wise. The jokes are edgy enough to make them funny plus it makes it entertaining while learning about money. I tune in every M/W/F to listen to the magic.
  • SuzyCT1970
    No shaming here!
I am relatively new to podcasts and have tried many different financial shows in the last year or so but I love Stacking Benjamins. It’s funny but always optimistic. No one is shamed for past mistakes and you come away from the episodes hopeful and informed.
  • Matthhjjj
    Good intro to money
This is a good intro to money - how it works, how to generate, how to hold onto it. I like the entertainment value, which keeps it interesting. I don’t like all the ads.
  • JohnnyBattery
    All Ads All The Time
This show used to be interesting and now you’re so overrun with ads it’s un-listenable. More than any other podcast by a huge amount.

    Savers without a direction
Wife and I started family, good paying jobs but didn’t know about personal finances. So easy to get hooked on these guys, very entertaining. We owe our comfortable glide into retirement, all the extra time we are choosing to spend with family rather than running the hamster wheel at work to so much we have learned here. Thanks to all and a definite thanks for Big D not being as creepy as that name sounds
  • MGB88
Great show but miss Len Penzo!
This is a great show where I laugh and learn. Only downside is when Paula Pant is on with her out of touch reality and knowledge of everyday person. Bring Len back!
  • Think45
What Happened to the After Show
I love the podcast! It’s so entertaining. I learn so much and laugh out loud every episode. Please bring back the after show!

    Great mix
What a great mix of information, strategy, entertainment and inspiration.

    Best personal finance podcast
Stacking Benjamins is the best finance podcast out there, it’s not even close. Shoutout to OG and Joe for all of their hard work to put good financial information in the hands of investors and retirement savers who need it.

    Great to See Fresh Faces
I know lots of people are talking about the “Len/Paula” episode (and it was epic…), but have any of these recent reviewers listened since then? That was over two months ago. Great Friday guests. I love the Mentor Monday shows (Hannah Cole was outstanding yesterday…where did you find her? I’d never heard of her before). And yeah…ads…but the second half of the show ad-free? I love how this show always finds a way to keep us engaged and finding new perspectives on money. Great job, guys.
  • Wendy1212!
    Bring back Len!
Honestly haven’t listened much since Len isn’t involved anymore. Disappointed in how that was handled especially since Paula has an unrealistic view of how most people live and responsibilities they have. Love OG though!
  • K2TF
    Being Len Penzo Back
I liked the podcast, but I’m very disappointed that Len is no longer on the show. The disagreement that Len and Paula had, some episodes ago, was very disappointing. Paula acted in appropriately towards Len with their disagreement. In my opinion, she was out of touch with reality.
  • MatthewPE
    Well done
    Please bring back Len Penzo!!

Joe and OG Know What They’re Talking About
I really appreciate the wisdom that the team brings to personal finance. Joe and OG aren’t just book smart, they’ve walked with people on their financial journey and dealt with life happening along the way. That perspective is invaluable and they share it in a fun and engaging way.
  • nbigs
    Show has fallen off.
I started listening back in 2018 and would listen to every episode. As the years have progressed, the show has added more and more ads to the point where it becomes unlistenable. The show notes do not include time stamps which always frustrated me given it is a variety-style show where multiple segments are present. The straw the broke the camel’s back was the departure of Friday round table guest Len Penzo. SB has fallen out of my personal finance listening rotation.
  • joe_2121
    Dissapointed
I’d much rather have Len than Paula. She acted super childish during their travel exchange. Joe should have moderated that segment better.
  • Maggie Gunther
Personal Finance but make it Fun!
Love the way Stacking Benjamins teaches us useful personal finance information and the great mentors they bring on… it makes learning about what could be a very boring topic, fun!
  • intheknow76
    Drop Paula
Drop Paula and bring Len back. She is so out of touch with reality.
  • A A 1313
    Disappointed
The show relies on to many guests that are chosen for DEI or woke reasons instead of professional content. Example P. Pant showed how unprofessional and angry she is on a recent episode. It is sad because some of the banter and financial information is very interesting.
  • teish8
    What’s Happened to this Pod?
This used to be one of my favs but lately the shows aren’t the same quality compared to even just a few months ago. Is Lisa not writing for them anymore? The advice is repetitive and superficial. Guests can be very good, but Paula’s perspective is preciously close to advocacy for the current Administration. Very disappointing
  • Bummerdudenatious
    Bummed you had Guilliam on
Bummed you had Guilliam on a recent episode with no warning about his awful content or any questions to him about his work. Checked out his podcast after the exchanges on the show. Was entirely insurance marketing with no actual detailed discussion of numbers or nuance. Extremely predatory. Don’t mind giving people a chance but would vet them, or at least ask them challenging questions if giving them the platform. This could really harm people if they fall for his pitch.

It pains me to say ..
Ouch. Recently listened to the Paula and Len exchange episode. Had me turning off this podcast. The 6 minutes of ads doesn’t help either.
  • Andy pandas
    Sabbatical
Love the podcast but Paula is out of touch with real families and raising kids.
  • NickRawr
    Ads and more Ads
Somewhere within the bowels of this show there is some great and entertaining advice but six minutes of ads right off the top… ouch.
