I listen for the interviews, but excessive gate keeping has been an issue for all genres. Some episodes are good, but please stop dogging on other bands, genres, etc. With so much negativity in the world we should strive to be more positive about music. Music is such an escape from it all. We metal heads should be squashing the stereotypes, not reinforcing them. Just because someone likes pop, indie, folk, polka, whatever… if they find a connection with it, we’re all the same in that respect.

I like the show, but every episode has someone calling in on what sounds like a phone with a bad connection. It’s a chore to listen to, which kind of defeats the purpose of a podcast. Even the guests sometimes call in for the interview and it’s hard to understand what’s being said. I don’t understand how they haven’t realized that this audio format ain’t workin’.

The audio quality is horrible.

I got to say this podcast get some great talent for interviews but it takes 30-40 minutes to get to it with all the boring personal views on news along with the co-host keeps cutting in and out due to bad connection. If you listen, probably just get to the middle of the podcast.

Love this show! Chime in on last episode 18 year old kids with 10,000 in tactical gear without out credit working at McDonald’s something doesn’t add up.

I’ve been listening to this podcast ever since the Chuck and Godless days, and the switch over to the new crew was a bit of an adjustment. While stylistically different, Petar, Brandon and Jozalyn are crushing it with the hilarious bits and pre-interview banter. There are even some occasional touching and heartfelt moments. For the interviews, Petar does an excellent job speaking with the weekly guests. And with that guys…listen to this podcast!

It’s really a shame when you take a podcast with so much potential, so many wonderful guests, and the rights and ability to play music in a high quality then ruin it with absolutely repulsive personalities. It’s a bigger shame people like me have to listen to it anyway because no other people can cover metal as a full time job and produce content on a regular basis. The least you could do is keep Jozalyn off the show and timestamp in the description when the actual interview is. Would save me quite a bit of time fastforwarding around the BS.

I've been listening to the MetalSucks podcast for quite a while now, and I really enjoy a majority of the guests that they have on the show. I enjoy the hosts and find them to be pretty funny. Pete seems to be a devoted fan of heavy music and is a great interviewer. I'm always excited for the next episode. Keep up the good work!

I love the MetalSucks Podcast crew! These guys and gals are longtime best friends and it shows. The banter, while it can be ridiculous, flows naturally and is hilarious. I love the skits, even the stupid ones, and only wish there were more. Nothing wrong with some metal news discussion and jokes before the interviews. I also like how Pete is able to keep the interviews from being formulaic, by talking about fun subjects such as horror movies, etc. No one wants to hear 30 minutes of "Our new album is really great." Keep it up Chicken Ds!

One of my favorite podcast, its entertaining, funny and informative. I have been turned on to a lot of bands because of this podcast. I think Petra does a great job of hanging out with guest like Joe Rogan does, wouldn't really call either of them interviewers though. Still, it is really good.

Amazing! The interviews go so much deeper than the usual “tell me about your latest album” type, and the news “discussions” are crude, sometimes disgusting, and totally hilarious!

These guys and gal are stupid but I love the bits. Most show I fast forward through the nonsense to get to interviews but they aren’t as annoying as others.

The hosts keep it light and fun and I used to just listen to interviews from bands I liked, but now listen no more what. Every week the hour flies by. Worth your time imo

The reviewer above said it all: stop with the mindless unfunny banter and get to the interviews. Whenever I listen to this show I always skip the first 10-20minutes of BS to hear the interview which - depending on the connection of the person being interviewed (skype, phone, etc) either sounds good or awful.

God the banter is unbearable. Get to the artist’s interview and let that be the show. Stop trying to be funny. Sounds like my dad and his friends trying to be cool in front of my friends.

Didn’t make it to the episode because I found the banter and hosts unbearable. Just one guys opinion.

Heyo out there to your Las Vegas crew from NYC. I enjoy the comedic bits you start the show with and the call back noise clips. Who doesn’t want to hear “boners in the mosh pit” on repeat, or that He-man era gemstone sound-that bit by the way was amazing! As was the piss drinker prosecuter this week! I do have some criticism though. Jozlyn was a great addition to the show, but she falls as a tokenization to me because her role is so limited. Petra does most the interviews, but Joz doesn’t have her own bits and never had an interview to date. I like her perspective on a lot of things so I enjoy having her on, but increase her airtime! Another note is that you are remarkably similar to Metal Injection out here in NYC because of your three person 2 dude cast. I don’t know who came out first and I prefer y’all, but gotta separate yourself from the herd. I think you do with the comedy you throw in! Keep it up.

The bits are a “bit” contrived, and the interviews are nowhere near as engaging as the old podcast. Agree with a recent reviewer, let the interviewee talk.

Hey guys I just wanted to say you both make a awesome and informative podcast. Both of you guys are hilarious and pair well together. Its hard to find a a good podcasts that just talks about metal, and gives some history about the band. Anyways my only problem that I have with your podcasts is the interview sound quality. I can hardly hear both you, but I can hear the other person just fine. I hoping in the near future you guys can fix that becuase I really do enjoy your show. Thats my only complaint. Thank you for making these podcasts.

I absolutely love the show, they have awesome opinions and really do lay down the truth, but the best part is the love they share with one another, they truly are a cute couple, Gooch is clearly the top, but Petar is a strong power bottom. Their affection and love for one another is touching. Petar may look like someone threw nair on his face and head, but he is like the dimwitted person that thinks they are smart, so he is worth keeping. Gooch has the voice of a god, but he would probabaly lose in a fight against Chester from Linkin Partk. Overall the best show about Metal. Hands down no questions asked.

A funny metal show? Sounds like a bad idea but these guys are good at it. They do produced bits at the start and it's just a different vibe. I subscribed primarily for the interviews but enjoy the hosts. Five Finger Death Crunch hahahaha
