Astounding pod

Just listened to these guys for the first time (second after they were guests on the Weekly Planet). I enjoyed them talking about Brad Astra and thought I’d give ‘em a try. I don’t know if I’m dumber or smarter for listening to them, but just like the non-magical genie, they create fun and imaginative sketches out of thin air. Maybe that actually means they’re non-magical magicians. You decide! However, I enjoyed it, and will tune in again soon!

It’s was many moons ago when Alasdair and I sat and had a beer in New Zealand and randomly in Melbourne, but the comedy shines through still. Conversation meanders from topic to topic in unexpected and hilarious directions. It’s a great look at the creative process of comedy brainstorming. Every episode has me laughing out loud several times.

I’ve been looking for a new comedy podcast, and this one is a delight! The hosts have wonderful chemistry and seem like good humans.

ATB and Andy Matthews are comedy geniuses and this is a great and weird podcast.

A little to political but nothing terrible. But one of the funniest podcasts out there. Drawing some of the ideas they come up with is the reason I’m not failing art class.

These two are hilarious. I’m a huge fan. Been listening since the first episode. Some of these sketch ideas have turned my mood around and made me laugh so hard I got abs. Haha Seriously though, if you’re looking for a wonderfully ridiculous podcast to brighten your day, this is it. 5 outta 5

These two are the funniest people I know. So much fun to listen to!

Totally recommend this podcast! I regularly laugh out loud while listening to these two guys, it’s especially awkward when I’m in public giggling like an idiot, but this pod is totally worth that experience. They have some of the silliest, surrealist, and fertile imaginations around, and I’m consistently delightfully surprised by the directions they take their sketch ideas.

Just some silly ideas to lift your mood. Andy and Alasdair are really funny. One of the best on Planet Broadcasting.

For those new listeners I offer the follow recommendation... Give it time. I started with their library of podcasts, beginning with episode 1 and have since listened to every episode, including the 11-hour marathon and the various side-tank content. The first few episodes will have yourself repeatedly asking, “What the what?!” But then, after the next few you will develop a feeling of pity as you realize they’re struggling “artists” slash refugees living in the greater Melbourne metropolitan area. One is from Tasmania, the other from Quebec. I still shudder at the idea of the hardships they endured during their respective upbringings. After the pity dissipates, mild frustration grows over the poor audio quality combined with their odd whispering phase. Both issues alleviated by the Good work introduced by George, a true godsend. After a long hiatus (possibly an incarceration of some sort?) they return and start getting love from Planet Broadcasting, Harry’s Shavers, Casper Mattresses, and the Tasmanian museum of modern cloacas. The 100th episode was an 11-hour epic that featured a rotation of local Planet Broadcasting luminaries and was truly impressive. They’ve recently added some new features: the King’s ear, a legit new logo (and T-shirt’s...allegedly), the Side Tank, the Sitcom Tank, and some guest appearances on other pods, including Prime Mates by their Gr8 M8 Matt Stew_art If you’ve managed to read this entire review and still feel like giving it a go, you’re up to the challenge and will be better for it. In all seriousness, I have a mildly stressful job and this never fails to set my mind right before or after work. Ps. They never fact check. Neither should you.

Listened to a few episodes and ready to download more. I enjoy the absurd line of thinking these to blokes riff on. And some of their ideas are so good and random, I consciously avoid appropriating them in my own works. Then again, imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

This podcast dabbles in such an extremely high level of ridiculous that it will almost definitely make you smarter.

I've now listened to every single episode of this podcast, including episode 100 in one go, and not one of the episodes was anything less than hilarious. Do something nice for your ears for once: subscribe, listen, and live your best life.

For comedy podcast, this one has funny.

If you Ever thought that two guys seated alone somewhere talking about practically anything and trying to make coherent story out of gibberish is weird... Then we'll you're right. It is weird. But these specific two guys do it in the best possible way. A fantastic listen that will have you looking to listen to all the Episodes wondering if they've been that good ever since the start... And Spoilers, They Have.

Amazing, Motivational, and Inspiring to the general public. Academy Award Nominee 1969. The tear jerking performance of the two lead actors inspires all of us to be better people. Nah, jk. But seriously this podcast is entertaining to say the least. Keep it up guys! I'll keep listening as long as you keep releasing :)
