    Less son more Mel!
Someone please, please, please RE-EDIT this show!!b He’s a lovely man with an amazing life but the son constantly gets in the way of the story! A strong editor could make this show so compelling.

    Respect for Melvin
I’m trying my best to make it through the whole podcast. I really have respect for Melvin. He’s wonderful at telling his story. This would have been better if it was more professionally done. I don’t think the son should have done the interview. The son is extremely annoying and asks irrelevant questions. I’m sorry to the son but it’s so bad …

Mel was was wonderful to listen to!
I found it sad the way Mel’s son spoke to his father. The snapping and interrupting was quite disrespectful to your father especially on a platform where thousands of people are listening.

Greg (the son ) interrupts too much
the Stories are fascinating and I love hearing the older gentleman Speak . It’s actually impressive at how many things he remembers in detail at his age . I just wish His son Stopped trying to interrupt his every sentence it makes it hard to enjoy ..

    September 2022 review
Just finished listening to each of the podcasts in this series. Mel was obviously one helluva guy with one helluva story to tell. Unfortunately, his son didn’t have the patience nor the organizational skills to make this everything that it could have been and should have been. Definitely a lost opportunity…

Mel seemed so sweet. His son was very rude and unkind.

    Mel - 5 stars, Son - 1 star
Mel was sweet and his story was so sad and touching - he seemed like a kind man. I’m sorry that his son was disrespectful and really didn’t express pity or sorrow for his dad. It did sound like they loved each other, but Greg was just so abrupt and unkind. Mel was 90 at the time of this interview - impressive!

I could not stand the son. Very disrespectful

I want to listen but the son!
I really wanted to listen to this speak and tell his amazing story. It needs to be told and recorded but his son absolutely ruined it. He arrogant and rude to his father. I couldn’t get passed the 2nd episode because his son just interrupts over and over. What a shame, this could have been done so much better.

Disappointed in the interview but pushed through out of respect for Mel Federbush.
I am 30 years old and have recently took an interest in learning more about the Holocaust. I am grateful this brave man took the opportunity and spent so many hours recounting and sharing his painful stories and experiences so we can better understand this terrible time period and the events that took place. Thank you Mel Federbush. While my hope is that this father and son have a great, unique and honored relationship, I am still disappointed with the way the son interviewed his father on this sensitive subject. He was so disrespectful and interrupted too much. I understand he was trying to glean as much information as he could, but he should have showed more grace to his father and just listened more.

    Disappointed
Such a disappointment, I hung in through the first two episodes but then could not listen any longer. It was such a shame because this survivor was so well spoken and I could tell he had an interesting life and know if given the chance he would have told a fascinating story of his experiences. However, the interviewer who was the son kept interrupting every few minutes and was a horrible interviewer. I wish that he would have just let his Father tell his story. The son was also disrespectful and dismissive to his dad, which is why I couldn’t listen any longer.

Great story but this son...he makes me angry.
Great story but this son is so disrespectful of his father. He needs to have some compassion and not be so degrading to his father. Some of these memories are clearly painful. I want to turn this son over my knee. Disgusting treatment of his father. Dad has already been through hell.
