Makers13Such a fun showWhat a great podcast. Even when Joe is alone on the show you feel like you are doing it with him. If you don’t know GI Joe is is still presented in a way you can jump on board. Recently found the podcast and now I am going through old episodes and it has been a fun journey through the world of GI Joe.

GreecosuaveGREAT PODCAST!Listening to this podcast is as much fun as playing the action figures. Thanks for bringing back this part of my childhood in such a fun way. It’s good to see all the “Die hard” fans supporting this Podcast. GREAT PODCAST! A++++++

X98lbwussTurn down the “you were saying”Love the show, hate the “you were saying” and the other ridiculously loud audio clips. Lose them, but if you insist on keeping them adjust the audio to be more in line with a jet engine or say a mild jackhammer.

Allen-LaneCobra La La La La La La La La La!I’m so glad I found this podcast! I had just finished rewatching the entire Sunbow series. All throughout, I kept thinking that someone should do an episode by episode podcast review, but for sone reason never actually thought to see if someone had! Joe does a fantastic job and I am now binging all of the past episodes in order to catch up. I’m glad to see that the podcast goes beyond the Sunbow series (I’m now currently rewatching the DIC series). I hope to see Joe continue with Resolute, Sigma Six and Renegades - I’m fine with skipping Extreme!) Joe has a great knowledge of the cartoon, the comics and the toys. I was young enough to collect the first two series of toys, was a rabid fan of the cartoon (religiously recording it on VHS each day) and read the comic for the first 5 or so years (reading the rest of the initial Marvel run decades later), but I still learn new things from Joe and his guests. Joe always approaches the series with a great sense of reverence, but has fun pointing out the ridiculousness of it at the same time. Whether you have fond memories of the G.I. Joe cartoon and are planning on rewatching it or are interested in seeing it for the first time now, this podcast is a fun companion piece to your viewing!

Danny PyrateEntertainingVery entertaining and a joy to listen to. Keeps my mind busy. Perfect entertainment for a Joe fan who drives all day for a job. Keep up the good work! I have a lot of episodes to choose from since I discovered this podcast a few days ago.

WJWA Fun Joe Show!I am relatively new to listening to this podcast, but I have grown to love it very quickly. Joe and his guests offer good commentary on the old cartoons. I am sure I will only like the show more as I listen to future unreleasted episodes and to past archived shows.

P. SiddowayMore than just nostalgiaDon’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of nostalgia, too. After all, it’s a guy named Joe watching 30-year-old cartoons. But a lot of the guest hosts have never seen the show before. And a significant amount of the commentary is making sense of what’s going on from an animation or story telling or real-world military perspective. Mostly they’re making sense of real human emotions, experiences, and other things that totally passed me by as a kid. Joe and his guests are “average Joes”. They’re (mostly) funny and smart and 100% down to Earth. And that makes this podcast super accessible. Many expressions of fandom take themselves very seriously and aren’t really accessible to any “outsiders” - or even many insiders who aren’t into that particular aspect of the fandom. Not so here. That makes this the best G.I.Joe podcast I’ve ever found. Also, it helps that his production quality is decently high considering he’s funding it himself.

darrel TNostalgia!!!!Talk about taking me back to the good old days! Great show

Joe-sephineReally fun and knowledgeableI never watched GI Joe but started listening to this podcast after hearing Joe co-host on the Star Trek animated series podcast. I went to the beginning and started listening and learning all about Snake Eyes and Cobra Commander and all the other Joes. It has been fun but largely because of the sheer boy delight of host Joe. I have to smile when hearing him and guests talk about their boyhood experiences. My brothers and I are a bit older than Joe growing up in 60s and 70s so our cartoons were different, (I loved the original Jonny Quest) but the joy is the same. Thanks.

Stache BigginsJoetastic!I’ve renewed interest in GI Joe after watching Netflix’s The Toys That Made Us doc. I purchased the complete Sunbow series and scout d for a podcast to get into. Joe on Joe is loaded with Joe and Cobra info and great guests. Some great insight on, not only the animated series, but the toys and comic books as well. Which is great since I’m reading the old Marvel / Hama series now. Highly recommend this podcast! I started late and have been playing catch up. The episodes are a good length and the host is easy to listen to , a kind host, and beyond enthusiastic for all things GI Joe.

Bjorn from European Joe'sA must listen to podcast for G.I.Joe fans!I listen to this podcast on Grover Podcast for Windows, but made an iTunes account just to leave a 5-star review for this show! Joe on Joe takes you back in time with the right amount of humor and keeps you looking back fondly on your childhood. The cartoons (and our own imagination) made the toys come to life and by listening to the show, I remember every battle and every figure/vehicle as if I’m ready to go out and start playing. It’s nice to hear a great variety of guests that grew up with G.I.Joe and even guests that learn to love G.I.Joe during the podcast. This show is a great addition to the G.I.Joe community and helps us to keep the brand alive! Now you know and knowing is half the battle! Keep up the good work and YoJoe!

Andrew.-Great podcast for any GI Joe fan!Joe does an excellent job of reviewing an commenting on these classic GI Joe cartoon episodes. He always adds the right mix of Joe knowledge and humor to make each installment of the podcast fun. He also interviews a guest before starting each GI Joe episode, and some of these interviews can be even more entertaining than the cartoon itself. I highly recommended this podcast to any GI Joe fan. It’s a great way for me to revisit a show that was a fun part of my childhood and gain some new GI Joe knowledge in the process.
