Dr. Rina BlissSmarter parenting with heartBeing a guest on Minimalist Moms jumpstarted my love affair with Diane Boden’s interviews. I have listened to her avidly for nearly two years, never missing an episode. And now with her newest incarnation of Clear Intentions, I’m more hooked than ever! As a scientist who travels a lot for research, keynotes, bookstore talks and broadcasts, and as a mom of three small children, I have little time for media. Clear Intentions is worth every moment - I listen to recharge and enrich myself!

ItsAubreezyMinimalism is more than you thinkI have been listening for years and I absolutely love this podcast. I can’t remember how I came across it but Diane totally changed my mindset with what I thought minimalism means. She provides the tools to live with an intentional lifestyle and as I am learning I am getting to pass that down to my kids as well. I am a super sentimental person and I hang onto a lot because of that. My mom died shortly after I turned 6 and there was never anything really to pass onto us kids of hers, no family heirlooms. In one of Diane’s more recent episodes she and her guest talked about how- you can let go of an item but keep the memory. That really stuck with me. Also how to be mindful of how MUCH I choose to keep because my kids will have to deal with it all someday when I’m gone so I keep them involved when I am purging, especially if I’m having a hard time letting go. Sometimes the things I want to save for them, they are not as attached to. Lastly, my favorite episode has to be the one where she talks about how to purge the closet! That is one I revist usually once or twice a year. Some people have a hype song, that’s the equivalent to getting me in the right mindset to get rid of items I don’t wear. I’m a stage 5 clinger with clothes and I can Marie Kondo every last item and tell you where I got it from and the last time I wore it LOL Diane has provided so many tools over the years and I share with everyone I know because it really has been life changing for me. I appreciate the length of her podcasts. Sometimes I feel like they’re not long enough and I’m usually left wanting more but she’s brings guest back all the time and I can get a whole podcast in on my commute to work. Truly no complaints from me! I love the bonus episodes too! Give it a chance, it’ll probably change your life!

theholmgrenfamGrounding podcastI’ve been listening to Diane’s podcast for a few years and have really enjoyed the tips and conversations about more intentional living. I’m a mom of 5 kids in a very busy season of life and this podcast is my little grounding pause each week to remember, recenter, refocus on what matters most and find simple ways to ….well, simplify! The experts she invites on the show have varied life experiences which I appreciate and also share the solidarity I’m seeking in their perspective toward a more essentialistic approach to living.
-

Marg0t:)Easy & fun to listen- so so relevant!Wow, just stumbled across this pod two days ago and have listened to a dozen episodes so far! First time mom here & I’m finding every episode sooo helpful! Topics ranging from loving your look to spending to organizing…I’m loving this! Easy on the years, upbeat, great and relevant questions and awesome resource suggestions in every episode! My TBR list is much longer already! Definitely a needle in a haystack mom podcast!!!

florohlerAlways InterestingThis has been a comfort podcast for me since 2020. I love learning about minimalism and how others utilize systems and strategies in their homes. Diane brings in interesting guests and each podcast ends with a takeaway. I have implemented so many systems learned from this podcast and my family is better for it.

cuppacoffee72Maximal minimalismI am loving this podcast as a mother and a minimalist. It is so hard to find balance with wanting to live a simpler life and having kids but this podcast is super helpful!

KBZ2008Content is good, ads overwhelmingThis podcast is great and the interview portion is fantastic but there is entirely too many commercials / advertisements and the placement of them is extremely clunky due to their length. Several episodes I listened to didn’t even start the content until 5+ minutes and had another 5 min “intermission”. Understand that ads are a necessity but they are very long so it would be greatly improved if shortened and I could spend more time listening then fast forwarding.
-
paigeamberbacaniPractical and Helpful!!I am so grateful for Diana and all the work she does behind the scenes to connect with such incredible people and offer such insightful interviews! As a mama with two little ones, I am so grateful for her practical tips in so many different realms of life! Mostly, I am grateful for her reminder to stop scrolling and start seizing! Thank you Diana, you are such a blessing!
-
JamochagirlSuch a gift to the busy mom!I’m so grateful for Diane’s true curiosity for learning and leading others with hope and respect. She is strong and yet willing to learn. My favorite part of her work is that she helps me to try little ways to get organized versus making me feel I have to do it all at once. Learning how to create margin is so appreciated!

Emma’stempnameLove!Love this podcast. Thoughtfully structured and not rambling. I’m not religious, and love that she carves out “niche” topics on Christianity in separate episodes.

-
MrsSimpsGreat variety!I’ve been listening to the show for over a year and love the variety. Whether you are a mom or not, and whether you are a minimalist or not, you are sure to pick up some great tips on living a calmer, more intentional life.

CassieJean512Great show, needs better sound qualityI absolutely LOVE the content, guests and host of this show! It’s interesting, helpful, and always gives me fresh ideas. The one thing that would improve this is better sound balancing and quality. I am often turning the volume up and down throughout a show to better hear the guests, host, and ads. Additionally, on a recent episode the high tone of the voices were so sharp and muffled sounds of them talking were so loud I couldn’t even finish the episode. Investing in improving the sound would really take the quality and professionalism of this podcast to the next level.

Cozy GardenerGreat shower listen!I love listening to this podcast when I shower! It’s becoming part of my evening wind-down routine

ObrochtaOne of my fav podcastsI’m a big fan of this podcast. I have found it very informative and inspirational. I got rid of a lot of clutter and a few sentimental items and I feel so much lighter now. I appreciate how Diane gets right to the point and is not long winded. I highly recommend!

Kristy_WhiteFeels like chatting with a friend!I love this podcast, consistently great guests, helpful tips and the best part is that it feels like you’re just chatting with a friend! ✨

BGA9489Great infoThis podcast always has the best guests. One thing that is distracting is that Diane says “no” very frequently. It happens in every single episode while she is talking to the guest. She will say “No, I love that” or “No, that’s great.” It’s never contextually relevant or an answer to a question. It’s confusing and adds a negative connotation to the conversation. Other than that distraction I love this podcast and I am always excited to see new episodes pop up.
-
Katie H FConsistently my favorite podcastI absolutely love this podcast - it has been one of my favorite podcasts and one of the few podcasts that I consistently come back to every single week and have listened to (and learned from) almost every episode. The topics encompass so much about minimalism & intentional living, and it really resonates with me. she chooses excellent guests, and I’ve learned so much from listening to this podcast. LOVE IT!
-
Angela DelfLove this show!Practical and applicable! Every episode has a takeaway that I find valuable!
-
Sky$SkyNot bad, a bit tone deafGood variety of guests, definitely some good concepts in the episodes. However, the major flaw is that it’s a bit tone deaf. Minimalism being born out of abundance and the ability to over consume. Of course minimalism applies to everyone but most of the conversations are coming from places of abundance. One guest stated “it was fun” to be out of basic cooking ingredients like eggs and butter because it made her be creative in the kitchen. The sentiment may be true but comes across as ignorant to the many who live like this, not by choice, but by necessity. That being said you can definitely cherry pick inspiration for decluttering and staying more organized. I wouldn’t say this podcast is for everyone, however.

Mimi-JohnsonSo Helpful!I feel like every mom needs this.

Storybook Trips by MackenzieA Staple PodcastI was a maximalist mom drowning in items and overwhelm until I decided that I wanted to change to a minimalist. Not only has this podcast changed my spending habits and home, it has also helped me become a better mom, business owner and just all around a happier human being. I always appreciate when podcasters are raw & real and this show is the definition of that. This is the first podcast I look for when new shows come out in my library!
-
bellalucevidaOne of My Go-Tos!I love listening to the Minimalist Moms podcast while I am making dinner each night for my family. It always gives my husband and me so many great ideas to talk about while eating dinner. Thanks for the great discussion topics!
-
Mountain Mamma 2000Strong emphasis on Christian mothers (not for all mothers)I wish this podcast was for all moms, but the more I listened to it, the more I realized it was focused on Christian mothers. It’s not just a podcast for all moms that are aspiring minimalists. Not for me.
-
StacyCO123Years of great listeningI love this podcast and have been listening for years. Easy to listen to (not too rushed or loud or annoying talking like some others) She has a peaceful voice and nice pace to the show that allows you to actually learn as you listen. Great guests and I love that she doesn’t shy away from niche topics that include religion or homeschooling but rather just says ‘if this topic isn’t for you, come back next week’! I personally love the religious additions but for those that don’t I love that she doesn’t just erase talking about her beliefs/interests but gives well rounded podcasts depending on the week. Listen and enjoy getting rid of all the physical and mental clutter :)
-
