Was excited to find them again, loved Martinis & Murder, but this is just not it.

You gained a subscriber after I listened to your Face to Face episode and episode 156 with female defense attorney Sara Azari. I watched the A&E Scott Peterson documentary years ago and thought that there was absolute reasonable doubt. Recently I watched the Netflix and Peacock ones. Both should be watched. I am pretty appalled at how much evidence was not followed up or disregarded… also shocked that during the recent discovery hearing, 1/17 pieces of evidence was permitted to be tested. The orange van and bloody mattress, the sightings, the Croton watch, the Aponte/jail tips, the LA reserve officer witnessing a pregnant woman being shoved into a van, the list goes on. I appreciate your intelligence and investigate nature. More work needs to bel done in this case. Test all the evidence and that will serve as further confirmation of whatever the outcome was! Loved your thoughts. I shared many but also learned a few things while listening. I hope you keep covering this case in the future.

“When Natalie was found floating in a lake”??? Natalie Wood died off the coast of Catalina island. And it’s not “the Natalie Wood.” Just didn’t want to even bother listening. Also Natalie Wood was not a “promising young star” when she died. She was a veteran, award-winning, middle-aged actress. It looks like an intern who has no idea who Natalie Wood was wrote the episode title and description.

It’s pronounced vy-OH-la. Mark Christie did not die in 2017 in prison, he’s still alive and serving his sentence. Maybe you should think about performing more in-depth research before you make a podcast episode.

Love the duo but it’s sooooooo hard to listen when they can’t be hard on crime.

I just listened to the Scott Peterson update. Not only do they not contribute anything new. They don’t even have the facts correct for the things that have been out in the media for years! Also, the male host referred to Lacy Peterson as “young, pregnant, blonde and jogging near the San Francisco Bay.” Seriously? Do your research or at least watch an episode of Dateline!

I was willing to overlook some things until Daryn now says she thinks Casey Anthony is innocent. This really make me question everything she says now. I won’t be listening anymore.

The stories are good but I don’t see how listeners can stand Daryn’s voice, it’s like nails on a chalkboard..I don’t mean to be cruel but listening to a podcast, it should at least be hosted by someone with a tolerable pitch…

Love this show! It’s very interesting hearing all the cases, some are just crazy. I have a lot to listen to, since I haven’t been following for too long. But will catch up!

Love the show (was also a M&M fam), but I love it more now that Daryn’s audio is clear and the same volume as John’s. 🙂

I have been with you all since Martini’s and Murder. It was actually my 1st podcast I started listening to. I love you guys, the content and show overall!

Just two entitled millennials who think their existence entitles them to a show. Totally annoying personalities competing to hear themselves talk. Sloppy storytelling - factually inaccurate. Regurgitated cases from networks and other podcasts who do an infintely better job than they do at creating interest and compelling crime narratives. Here, crime exists to give them an excuse to hear themselves talk. Get a real job, Guys.

Love Daryn’s voice, can listen to her all day lol. I must say this podcast > than MAM. I definitely don’t zone out and loose Interest, always look forward to a new episode. John and Daryn’s chemistry is E V E R Y T H I N G. Keep it up guys!! <3

I’m subscribed to at least 3 shows with Daryn as host but as an OG fan of Maritinis and Murder, this is my favorite one. I love the relaxed environment with the continued amazing quality. They are so well spoken with such a fun banter. Keep bringing us those true crime stories guys.

I used to love M&M but this podcast has gone down hill! They have zero passion about their stories, and don’t seem to have much knowledge about it before they record. Their stories seems to be really short as well lately! There has also been many times that their facts have been wrong. Also, what is going on with Daryn! She seems angry all the time about cases! John tries to give aspects of cases and police work the benefit of the doubt and Daryn seems not care about that! I’m in law enforcement and there are aspects that are wrong and needs to change but just because some people do those things does not mean that everyone is. She used to not be like that…..

This is the first podcast I listen to when new episodes drop! I love Daryn and John so much!

Enjoy listening to the storytelling but specially the way the off road.

I liked the older episodes and Martinis and Murder. Lately (as of 8/30/21), there are way too many advertisements, too many tangents and off topic discussion, and they seem less prepared for the crime they are discussing. I’m all for free podcasts getting revenue on ads, but the least they could do is interject them during a pause in discussion or one of the (many) topic changes.

Love these two. Like listening to old friends chat…except about horrible things like murder and missing people. They do their research, present the facts and sprinkle in fun commentary ans insights.

I’m not sure how true crime can be funny, yet tasteful, but these two manage to do it. Informative, terrifying, and suspenseful-this is hands down my favorite true crime podcast. Keep it coming Mom and Dad!
