    Joel and logan are great
Joel and Logan are great…….. but the other two are absolutely terrible.

    Good stuff, mostly
Joel and Logan’s podcast is good but I’m not crazy about the hosts of the Dawg Daily podcast. That one went downhill quick after Neil Price left.

    Production needs improving
Only two of the shows actually have good production. The rest of the shows desperately need the hosts and guests to speak into their mics. They’re impossible to hear at normal volumes. Some hosts sound like they’re recording in their bathroom.

    Love, Love
I love listening to Joel and Logan even if they are not perfect! Their podcast are fun and very informative. I also enjoy Neil and the behind the scenes insight that he brings!

    Review
Just listened to the SEC Basketball Tourny first post game podcast. Ok, I’ve got to say this was MUCH more professional than the early DOS ones. No giggling all the time. (I had actually stopped listening last summer because of that) Sounds like you r working to develop this professional approach. Keep working on it as obviously someone had given u the same feedback. Also, try and let the interviewee answer and not give them a multiple choice question with the answers they can say. Some facilitation is good but not every question. Some humor is good but be more serious and informative. No use telling us what the Coach is going to say, then listening to him, then repeating it. Just intro them and follow up to sum up. Get your preposterous outline and points real organized and then go off that.

Great job by Joel and Logan
We have listened to Joel for a long time, even before he joined the Athletic Dept at MSU. He is very knowledgeable and does a good job giving information. Logan is a good companion for Joel and their show is well done. Keep up the good work!

    Grammar
Joel, I generally enjoy to our show. However a couple of things bug me. You are a MSU graduate but your language sounds like a kid from Ackerman who barely passed high school. Please stop saying “Me and Logan …. “. It should be “ Logan and I…” You don’t say “Me went to practice”, you say “ I went to practice …”. Lots of youth probably listen to your podcast. Please set a good example of how a MSU graduate sounds or speaks. One other suggestion, when interviewing a guest, ask your question once. You sometimes ask the question and then rephrase the question and then maybe do so a third time. Please just confidently ask your question and then let your guest respond.

    Hail State
Truly excellent insight and coverage of the Maroon and White. Borderline bromance with Matt Wyatt who tells it like it is. Keep it rolling Dawgs!

    Quickly becoming required listening
When I first listened to Dear ‘Ol State I thought it was a bit quirky. But it’s quirkiness is what I’ve grown to live about it. Joel and Logan make no bones about them not necessarily having “that” radio voice. But they’re full of insight and are having a great time. I love listening to a homer podcast about my most favorite teams. It’s great the things I’ve learned about my Alma Mater and how I feel I’m up to date with them even though I’m 1200 miles away. The only change I would’ve suggested was more episodes. But they took care of that for me. Is I can listen every day on my way to work! Thanks to Joel and his Junior Communications Tag Team Partner. Hail State!

    Rob Polk Interview
Absolutely love the Ron Polk interview. I didn’t even know a lot of what he had to say. What an amazing ambassador for Mississippi State, so glad we can claim him as ours. Wonderful job Joel and Logan!
