Love this show!!! One episode title needs correction
I love this podcast so much!! I do have a suggestion for an edit: on October 11th, 2024, the guest is listed as “Jane Fonda” but it is Jane Goodall that was interviewed! Very important distinction!!

    Trump
Did not win the majority vote look at the votes cast he won more than Pamela, but he didn’t win the majorities. A few other people win votes also

    Why
You have so much talent and yet since you’ve left Comedy Central,I’ve been wondering why you didn’t bring your comedy skills with you. It’s my opinion that your head got so big that you became the “Ham head”. Honestly,You went from hilariously clever to mean…and there’s nothing funny about being mean.
  • dojoos
    Sans Monologue
Why is there no monologue? Three stars for that reason alone. Otherwise, I mean meanwhile… it would be five.

    Becca & Stephen
Love hearing both Becca and Stephen chime in and share everything that they can about the biz and so on 🙂

I love the show AND the podcast!
I listen while I am doing household chores and I depend on the humor of the Colbert show to get me through the mundane tasks of the day!
  • GemaVAA
    Thank you!
I can’t watch the show, but I love that I can hear it on my way to work! It’s an opportunity to listen to something that makes me laugh out loud, and it’s a great way to start my day!

    A good time
I’m really loving the interaction between Stephen and his cohost. Young people! They’re just like us! No seriously it’s fun to hear SC’s more natural self without the requisite playing up to the stars.

A Daily Dose of much needed humor!
Grateful for the podcast version… Stephen Colbert 💯💯 From one Charlestonian to another, Thank You!

    John Dickerson episode
I understand and I to was upset about the election results. The question about advice for a 14 year old post election was so disappointing and sad. I can’t believe you or your guest did not mention the impact this election is having on young girls. Your interview only proved that this country is so backwards.
  • Pieliker2
Does he just have the one writer?
Steven ain’t what he used to be. I can hardly watch his monologues anymore. He’s both sides-ing so much he’s sounding like Jay Leno after he was homogenized
  • Numidia124
    Late night phony
This guy is so bias and irrelevant at this point.

    Time off
I love the show and when something cool happens in the news, I think oooooh Stephen is gonna have fun with this (guilty x34). And he is off for the night……looking forward to Monday
  • driven2review
    LOVE the show
UPDATE: Has the monologue gone soft? Stephen used to be angry at Trump. He refused to say his name. Now it feels pandering like old school Leno. It’s weird. Anyone else feel this way? ORIGINAL REVIEW: Love hearing the show while I’m doing my work! Miss the show opening music, though. Thank you !

    Voting
Sorry. I know this isn’t the right place for this but……. If you nor Jon Stewart won’t step up and become our president, will you PLEASE endorse Jill Stein. She IS the best candidate for the presidency . WE NEED YOU!

    Just not good
I don’t know who is listening to this, but this is just objectively not funny or entertaining. Colbert hasn’t been relevant in years.
  • Ser Athena
    Good
Colbert and guest's voice are to low
  • Haken69
    All done
This guy started to get weird a few years back now he’s totally lost it. There’s no redeeming your self after dancing and singing with syringes

    No monologue
This podcast lacks the best part of the show. Please include the monologues.
  • Kerri Bassett
Such a great interview with Paul McCartney!
I absolutely loved your interview with Paul McCartney! it really brought us into the heart and soul of Paul McCartney, and the “regular guy “ that he actually is! he was so modest and down to earth… And I love the way you brought that out in him. Great, great interview!

    What happened?!
C’mon Johnny boyyyy. What could have been.

    Monologue?
    Where’s the monologue?

    Love Stephen but…
I love The Late Show, and I love Stephen Colbert. I’ve actually been in person to see a taping and it is great fun. However, I hate, loath and despise his intro to Meanwhile. Such a waste of time and stupid I wish he would spend more time making jokes out of headlines than wasting the effort to write that nonsense he says going into the segment!
  • MusicIsMyMistress
    Very sharp!
Great writers, guests and delivery. But I echo what others have written about adjusting the volume to hear the show, only to be blasted by higher volume recordings of the sponsors’ commercials. It’s bad enough with car speakers, but God help you if space out that Colbert is going to a commercial and you haven’t adjusted the volume for your earbuds in time!
  • BabsKetchum
Colbert is 5 star but the audio quality is 2 star
The audio levels of the show are terrible. Sometimes I have to really crank up the volume just to hear Stephen Colbert and occasionally the guests, but then I get blasted by the volume of the commercials. This makes it very difficult to enjoy while driving.

    Love Colbert, Hate this pod
First of all, can someone please tell the producers of this podcast that nobody is interested in several-year-old reruns of variety shows? I can’t remember the last time i heard something from even the last six months on this podcast. Second, why such truncated segments? No thanks, I have Youtube.
  • fifth gghffh
    Naturally funny
Even with the strike. I watch old monologues and still laugh after watching them a second time.
  • WEFlookitup
    Lame
Colbert Report now that was funny.

    Getting Boring
    Not on his game anymore.
  • communitynewspodcast
First time I have listened to your podcast.
Different than the TV show and I like the extra dimension. Can you PLEASE interview Paul and Sasha the cohosts of the hilarious news satire podcast "Community News with Paul and Sasha". You would be such a great interviewer of them because all 3 of you are so funny, quick, and smart.
  • Listen and work
    Really loud ads :(
The extra loud volume of the ad segments is really annoying and an old, cheap trick. The content of the show is entertaining, witty, and laugh-out-loud funny. Recruit advertisers that don’t demand this lousy double volume trick.
  • Heudjejsuxhdndbxhd
    separate politics from pop culture
i’m not interested in the pop culture part of the show. i wish they would separate the monologue from the interviews. or please interview more relevant people. i skip the actor/singer stuff and stick around for the public official interviews.
  • davidvlh
    Busted eardrums
Love the show and it’s great I can listen to the podcast while at work. But please, fix the volumes on the commercials and show. I have to turn the show way up to hear it but when the commercials come on the volume practically bursts my eardrums. They did this on TV ages ago and it’s super annoying.
  • No faking it
Came for the monologues, stayed for the interviews
Usually I just hit the monologues and music of my fav late night guys, but I have really been enjoying the interviews and the music on this show. Even a few guests I wouldn't have ordinarily enjoyed, Stephen seems to find the best in people and encourages some positive feedback. If you like a guest, you'll love the interviews. More Lewis C please. 💖
  • Dragon256
    What happened to this guy?
Colbert used to be one of the funniest dudes on television while hosting the Colbert Report. His “Formidable Opponent” segments would leave me in stitches. Even when his jokes were at the expense of things I supported or people I liked, I still found his humor hilarious. Now? I don’t even recognize the guy. It really does seem like he’s sold his soul to the corporate elites in order to host this show. The vaccine dance has to be one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever seen a late night host do on a tv show. Like, I got second hand embarrassment just from watching it on YouTube. What a waste of talent.
  • nshr152
    Can’t do it.
Can’t stand Steven Colbert. Don’t want to double tap similar reviews too much but, isn’t funny, never was.
  • Bob_W.
    Not Funny, Never Was
Hard to be funny when this malcontent lets his leftism blurt out constantly. When his late night career is finished, I’m sure he can continue to get low ratings on an MSNBC show.
  • Ingerrr
    Been waiting for this!
Love Colbert and so happy I can catch the show as a podcast when I can’t watch, even without the video. Podcast Colbert is better than no Colbert any day! PLEASE moderate volume of ads vs the show and never cut the monologue then it’s 5 stars (I refuse to engage when ads have jacked up volume & make a point to avoid those sponsors so quit it)!
  • sbart2692
    The worst
    Comedian? Not funny
  • Funcooker62
Colbert used to be funny at Comedy Central. Those days are long gone.
The Colbert report was so much fun to watch. This current product is made to appeal to a very small % of the population. Stephen has sold his comedic soul to the devil. I hope your large bags of cash make you happy, Stephen Colbert. You will likely never be truly funny again.
  • Mojyy
    Best funny podcast
    I love Steven Colbert
