HeytinyInteresting but podcasts aren’t a visual mediumI really like the topics, the information, I even like the cheesy jokes. My only complaint is that they took the discovery channel show and just made it into a podcast so a lot of the visual moments are just weird “swooshing” sounds or music with NO context. There are a lot of times where I’m wondering what’s going on or what something looks like because there is no description… because this was made for TV.

MoMatt77Promising but disappointingNormally a show about this kind of subject matter would be right up my alley, but this wound up simply being the audio portion of a video. It’s clearly not intended for an audio-only experience. Nobody describes what they are looking at. The narration cuts in and out to focus on stuff that a viewer would see, but we can’t. Not worth listening to at all in my opinion

AndroX4Awesome!I love this show, i realize it’s just clips from the tv show but i always miss that so this is a great way to listen. He’s very descriptive anyways and I have no trouble imaging what he’s doing and what it looks like. I need a new episode!

Usercc1154Rating of “clean” not accurateCurse words were bleeped out for more recent episodes. However, earlier episodes did not have curse words bleeped out and my boys (under 10 yrs old) had to hear the f- word twice and two other curse words in the first 12 or so minutes. Had to turn it off. Cursing is fine if that’s the kind of show you want to make - just don’t advertise it for kids and put the rating as “clean.”

Mickeyray6Should be on History ChannelThat title is not a complement. I listen to podcasts, this show needs to be watched if it is given any attention at all. Reminds me of some of the Ghost hunter shows. Learned nothing , this guy just wanders around and wastes people’s time with stupid questions. Just looked Josh gates. I realized he is the host I hated on Ghost Hunters.

B0B709It’s okIt’s good for any body looking for adventure but uses clips of the show. Josh tends to use visual clues that show important details we can’t see that’s why it’s only 4 stars. If you’re done here I need to tell you about someone who has a crush on Josh even tho he looks like my 5th grade math teacher

P1BKNot bad, but…..Love the tv show, and this was certainly an entertaining listen. BUT……since it’s just a replay of the tv show audio, there are way too many visual cues and references. Not sure it works 100%.

Teamfatman76Lazy podcastingI love Josh and his show. But this podcast is just lazy. These are classic episodes in audio only format (minus the beeps for cursing). I would be much more interested in a podcast from Josh and a co host (like Evan the camera man), even if they just rehash the trips and stuff from old episodes that would be far better than this. Maybe provide us with updates on projects you've worked on if there isn't enough to warrant a follow up episode.

GNXgypsyYou call him Dr. Jones! Doll!I love this guys Indiana Jones approach to his show. Probably because Indiana Jones is my childhood hero for sure. I’ve never owned a TV my entire life. But I have watched the show when staying at hotels, which I do often for my job. So I’m happy there is now a podcast version.

Dude296Good Content but you’re listening to a TV showI can imagine this is a great show to watch on TV but this is not a good podcast. Lots of references to visuals that are not explained. I chose not to continue with this podcast, but I would if it was done in a podcast format. Pretty sloppy to do a TV show and then try to slamming into a podcast.
