One of my favorite podcasts ever! I love Daisy’s clear and easy to listen to storytelling style and her dry sense of humor. Her voice is also so soothing and a great listen if I’ve had a rough day. This podcast just puts me in a better mood! Keep up the great work!

This podcast use to make me laugh and had great subject matter but, now not so much they are far reaching subjects about ghosts mainly also, not very good research a lot of the time. Makes me sad because this use to be 1 of my favs…

Terrible Just kidding! Best podcast ever

I really really wanted to love this. I love most of the shows from the obsessed network... but the host is completely terrible and insufferable. The jokes she tries to make either fall completely flat or are so politically one sided that they’re not even funny. The subject matter seems fun, but the writing/execution is terrible.

I adore the way you spinning a story. Your comments and interjections are just what the soul needs. I salute you, you goddess; and your soothing, magical elixir of words.

Maybe one day the author will mature enough to realize that interjecting her political conspiracy opinions in her work alienates half her audience.

why don’t you just call this a news podcast where you tell us your feelings the whole time

Daisy Eagan is a fantastic host and storyteller. I am always impressed with the care given to the stories and yet the sense of humor that shines through. The details and sources easily help those who want to learn more do their own research. This is an all around fascinating podcast.

Most of the topics covered on the podcast are interesting enough. But if you are a white, Christian, conservative, American male, just know you will be told numerous times throughout each episode you are the worst thing in the history of the world. Usually in a snarky and condescending tone. If you are able to put aside the hostess’s fringe political biases (because she clearly can’t), you may be able to enjoy some of the episodes. Otherwise I highly recommend Stephen K Bannon’s War Rom podcast.

A pearl in the sea of podcasts. I was tired of the usual Keith Morrison*, “ And then?” I wanted something fresh and honest. Daisy Egan does that. I like how she talks; we all know exactly what she means. I throw out the f-bomb a few times daily; why not her? “Not today, Bob,” should be a t-shirt. Every story has its twists and turns. Most still can't be explained, but we all remember a bit about them and have always wondered. Give her a try. I hope this podcast is around for a long time. * sorry, Keith, you still rock.

Hi Daisy. Love the show. You’re funny, witty, charming and smart. The show is interesting and entertaining and engaging. I like the personable tone. You mentioned on the crazy episode about the guy who could not satiate his uncontrollable hunger that you are not sure why you sometimes have unexplained hunger and a ravenous appetite. For me, this was physiological. Nerves, anxiety. It got out of control. I couldn’t work. I would eat a super burrito and a dessert and one hour later I would be starving. Like, shaking, stomach growling, unable to focus, feeling weak and light headed like I was going to faint. I started getting muscle cramps and insomnia. I was eating like 4, 000 calories a day and losing like 6 pounds a week. I finally wound up at a crisis center and then a hospital where I got help. I am happily on 200 mgs of Zoloft daily now, am 5’4 and 160 pounds and eat healthy, and exercise. This was an extreme case. But your appetite issues could be anxiety.

All I can say Daisy is I’m a self proclaimed tough guy. Your profound words at the end of this episode brought me to tears. What you said was so brilliantly stated that I shared it with both my boys. Your podcast is beautiful and eloquent as are you. Keep up the good work. Ive looked forward to your podcast every week since the beginning.

Daisy is an amazing story teller and tell stories no one else is telling unless she feels passionate about a case that needs to be told again. She is funny without making fun of a victim. Daisy is just such a good person and it makes my heart happy to listen to her podcast.

She’s hilarious

I have been listening to this podcast since it premiered. I love Daisy and her special sass when she’s telling a story. In the beginning it was like listening to a friend tell a story about something spooky or Strange and mostly Unexplained. The stories matched the description in the About section. Stories about UFOs, strange creatures sightings, ghosts and other unnatural phenomena. Recently however, the stories have changed. They are more about unsolved crimes and things that are political in nature. It’s rare that it’s about its original content. I still listen because she does have those stories on occasion. I tend to skip the other topics. I wish they would go back to their original stories. Maybe do a separate podcast for the other stuff.

Daisy does a great job of finding interesting topics to research and tells the stories in a factual, but very entertaining way.

This is one of the best palette cleansers when you’ve gone down that rabbit hole of sinister, dark, twisted crimes and need to come back.

I love her podcast she makes me laugh when she has her opinions. It’s sad when people complain but she does say you could leave a bad review. I also love her voice actors!

Daisy is AWFUL. Completely insufferable. The host interjecting herself and politics for absolutely no reason is unbelievably distracting and annoying. Stories have potential but are brought down by the awful presentation.

Nobody cares about your political view stick to their story leave it politics and personal opinion about woke issues ! I engage out of your show because a lot of people that watch your shows come from different backgrounds. I’m not happy with that. Too sad me and my friends will have to quit listening to you Dayse

I adore Daisy’s humor & appreciate the fact that she does her research for each episode. Always look forward to the next one. Thanks Daisy for calling out the stupid, homophobia & racism that is still prevalent. Sign me, just trying to get thru the next 4 years!

This food episode was as amazing as it was sad and disturbing. I loved how well researched this show is and how Daisy finds these stories. I had an eating issue(wanting too much), but not like the poor and disturbed French man, thank gods, and found I had ADHD after testing due to other symptoms. I didn’t know my eating issues were based on my brain chemistry. I was not producing dopamine, over eating and wanting to eat all the time is a symptom. Getting treatment was life changing.

There is way too much interjecting of her personal beliefs that is completely unnecessary. I tried to push through because she is very funny and tells stories well, but it’s honestly about every..single…episode. It’s not just her personal beliefs, she actually attacks others with different viewpoints on a consistent basis. Before you say a thing, I do not disagree with everything she says, there is just a time and place. This is a podcast about strange and unexplained things that have happened, not how much you dislike our president or how white men are racist and misogynistic. If you want to talk all the time of your personal beliefs, then start another podcast about it.

she constantly brings up politics and social views. i agree with her on some and disagree on some, that’s not the point. i just don’t want to hear it on a podcast whenever you cant escape those things elsewhere. may be for some people, just not me.

10/7 didn’t happen in a vacuum. You mention what is happening in Gaza (where hostages were found) without speaking about the hostages??? You’re a disgrace to women and the human race. Women raped so badly their pelvis’s were broken but yea talk about the situation in Gaza some more. #bringthemhomenow

I liked this up to the point she started pushing her political beliefs on this. I’m here to be entertained not hear to listen to her political views. Unsubscribing.

Her show is really well researched, and evidently so are her views (I did research myself and found her “woke” views to be very well backed up)

Interesting and well researched but the hostess continues to insert her personal politics. People are sick of it. Stick to storytelling.

Update: I've been listening for a while and like this podcast more now than ever. Knowing all the MAGAs are being little crybabies about the podcast being too "woke" is just the cherry on top. Keep up the good work. I'm new to this podcast, but so far I've really enjoyed what I've heard. She sounds almost like she's explaining an in-depth research paper she wrote, but then throws in some levity and sarcasm just to keep the Listener's attention. I happen to like that style of hosting better than two people loudly guffawing over their own jokes while telling a story about a child who got murdered. Some of them are just so shrill, I stop listening after about 5 minutes. As for political comments.... Well, I haven't heard any, but I'm still new and skipping around, so that hasn't come up yet.

This girl is amazing at telling stories. I love her quirk sense of humor and the random stories she selects.

Love listening to this show while I do pretty much anything. Especially loved the episode with Daisy’s son!

Keep it up Daisy! Imagining the cult members with dried up testosterone, less melanin and even less education, completely enraged and beating up their sister wives after listening to the episode on the orange scr01um of a p*g is nothing less than 0rgasmic pleasure.

So woke you won’t be able to fall asleep after listening to this garbage. Just tell the story, not your personal trauma. By the way, Trump won. Do that episode.

Daisy, leaves much to be desired for a story teller. She constantly inserts political commentary, her progressive ideologies, and often victim shaming or belittling the listener for having any views outside her narrow mind. Seems like she’s getting worse with the pandering too. It’s become my guilty pleasure to listen now. Oh yeah, TRUMP 2024!!

This is consistently my favorite podcast every week. Daisy is engaging and hilarious and her takes are researched and skeptical enough that I feel like I’m having a conversation with a friend and not just listening to an urban legend. I love that these podcasts are scripted but not entirely narrated if that makes sense - they have a natural flow and cadence that makes them more conversation than lecture. One thing I do miss is the voice actors. Please bring back Ryan Garcia and Luther Creek!

I was excited about the idea of this podcast until actually listening to it for a while. They take stories that have already been done to death by other podcasts and present them as if they’re the first ever to tell them. It’s like they just plagiarized Lore and Generation Why but with dumber and meaner commentary. It’s so cringe. The host is offputtingly arrogant and annoying and a blatant rip off artist. Just a terrible show.

I thought I was going to listen to a podcast on Hitler. That’s what YOU promoted the podcast to to be. Even stated you needed an extra week to get things right. It was about Trump. You said Trump WAY more than Hitler. Who’s misleading the public now? Not much different from Hitler or Trump.
