NC77389Less Feminism and More True CrimeThis used to be one of my very favorite podcasts, but I just cannot listen anymore. The constant male bashing and overtly feminist comments have overtaken the podcast. I cannot listen any longer.

ColdZero5150No more electric voice pleaseLove you girls. One of my favorite podcasts. But please. No more dumb electric voice. It’s like finger nails on a chalk board. Pretty please. 😵💫😵💫

MaverickAbundanceI LAUGHED SO HARD/EPISODE 90!This is a “Listener Tales” the last story is so FUNNY I wet the bed!!!!! Highly Recommend!! I use to skip “Listener Tales”, then went back through and heard them. Love Them Now!
-
Beton21793No longer a listenerI used to listen to this weekly and reeeeally looked forward to it, but it’s been about a year or more since I last listened. When these 2 first started, I thought it was such a unique podcast because of the fact that Alaina was working as a mortuary technician (I think that was their title?) and that brought an incredibly fresh perspective to the genre of true crime podcasts. Those details from her day job made their episodes so interesting! And Ash brought fun commentary and they had great chemistry. I noticed over time they stopped mentioning their day jobs and it felt like them getting big led to the loss of what made them so unique. I hope they reconsider how they operate given all of the recent feedback. Would love to come back to this show!

ej33zy🥰Love y’all,y’all are great…. I got one for you I don’t think either of you have covered Joseph “Jody” Hamilton it’s an early 1900s one!!!
-
megbc28Love it!This is by far my favorite podcast and when I listen to a new podcast I feel like I’m hanging out with my girls. I’ll be a forever listener!
-
ChachameA couple of blathering idiotsWay too much editorial commentary. I couldn’t listen for long. So disappointed- Wondery is my go to for long distance driving
-
blancaxbananaStephany Flores RamírezI absolutely love the pod! I just finished listening to the Natalee Holloway episode and I wanted to request if you all would ever cover more of Stephany Flores Ramirez. The only time she’s ever discussed is in regard to Natalee Holloway and I get why, but I think she deserves for her story to be told as well. Also, thank you for always presenting these cases in a very respectful and victim forward manner! You guys are great!

Lamathews86Good But Too Long of Side TangentsThis used to be one of my favorite podcasts - but I feel like it’s gone a little off the rails lately. I agree with other folks about how the jokes will go on wayyyyy too long. They basically just repeat the joke over and over and laugh hysterically for a minute straight. And it happens ANY time either of them make a joke. They can just say it, have a little laugh, and move on. It’s to the point where it’s making it a lot less listenable to me. I think with some more editing, it can be brought back to what it once was!
-
GorillamullinsHere for the whole episode!I enjoy the topics being discussed, and absolutely love the banter!! True crime can be heartbreaking to listen to, I’m happy that Morbid brings a vibe that veers into the hilarious in their discussions. This podcast is something special

alicitamonita6 year fan and going on strong!Omg where do I begin with these amazing ladies. I have been a long time listener for 6 years, and I have shared this pod with all the ladies in my life! I first discovered this podcast when I was a junior in high school, and now I am a grad student (love an early college system haha). Ash and Alaina put so much care into researching and respecting the victims of this cases, and they give such a refreshing look into true crime. Not only that, but they use their platform to highlight important topics and advocate for better justice reform. They have truly become a comforting presence in my life, and I am so thankful for stumbling on this pod all those years ago ❤️
-
sarasnookI love morbidThank you ladies for all you do. You are my self care. I hope you know how valuable your voices are in this crazy world. ♥️

katkayeTOO MANY ADSUsed to be my favorite. Listened for years. So annoying to listen to with all the ads runs now. And no, I won’t for another another subscription to listen to them via wondery. I’m done.

Marshall U ATOThese Ladies are AWESOME!Haters gonna hate.

Myrtle Beach 198830 minutes for 1 minute of storyThis podcast gets bogged down in long winded tangents, personal opinions, and irrelevant commentary. I don’t mean to be overly critical, but it’s become impossible to listen to. The frequent injection of a judgmental, left leaning tone is also distracting...something I could overlook if the storytelling were more engaging. The last episode I listened to took 20 minutes for 1 minute of story.
-
jen callahanGet to the story! You know the endless paragraphs you have to sift through BEFORE you get to be recipe…that’s this podcast. 10-12 mins of talk about everything except the story you want to listen to. “Jump to story” is needed.
-
BeckkkkkkkkkyPod is great.. but! This pod is great but please tone it down with Boston love 😩 also use your platform to cover cases that are not getting attention. Robert durst !? Come on.
-
susannjLosing its edgeUsed to enjoy this podcast. But the banter is way too long—15+ minutes in today’s episode. Also I’ve noticed some slippage in the research.
-
St.VenYikesI want to like this podcast but the self awareness is inexistent. Please stop repeating each other back and forth. A lot what you’re saying isn’t as funny as you think it is and repeating it over and over just makes it cringy.
-
Nikkinick6114Over It!I enjoyed this podcast at first. I love hearing different takes on history, and the hosts definitely have their own style. Some of the jokes landed, some didn’t ,but I was okay with that. What ended it for me was when they started adding their political views. I listen to podcasts like this to take a break from all that, not to hear more of what’s already on the news and social media. If I wanted that, I’d find a show focused on politics. So, I’m out. Time to find another true crime podcast that sticks to the story.
-
user17828goodi ike this podcast but they bring up politics/religion almost every episode…. sick of it
-
BrandiH1980I LOVE MORBID!!!I had a friend recommend this podcast to me within the past month, as I’m into everything Morbid. Been hooked since I tried this podcast out. I love I have something to listen to while working besides just music. 🥰
-
CML73@TerribleHosts are annoying, uninformed, not funny, and the amount of swearing is unnecessary. Using the f-word over and over is just an indication of their lack of preparation, knowledge and non-existent communication skills.
-
MomCallsMeNicholasSolidSolid podcast and the girls ARE funny but they often try too hard to get laughs and it borders on cringe inducing at times.. They just need to dial it back a hair and I wouldn’t miss an episode.
-
SubVariationsHalf of my being is this podcastI keep these two lovely ladies playing almost constantly. They are my safe space. They are my absolute favorite people to listen to. I love listening to the early episodes and skipping forward to hear how far they’ve come with research and content and flow. Their humor is my humor. They cannot do wrong, they are perfection and are doing everything RIGHT. If I’m having a bad day I turn it on and they immediately lift my spirits.
-
Anarchy9997The best podcastI started listening to this podcast years ago during a hard time in my life, I struggled to find a podcast that I could actually get to entertain me and shut my brain off from the rest of life. Ash and Alaina are absolutely amazing to listen to, they make the podcast feel like you are just talking with friends about a shared interest in true crime cases. Years later I have listened to lots of podcasts but this is the only one that I tune into for every single episode the day they come out, and I own morbid t shirts and Alaina’s book, and have even turned other people to the pod as well. Thank you Ash, Alaina, Mikey, and wondery!
-
WatsonmommyNew bestiesLove these ladies and their amazing banter
-
SparkleCamelWho enjoys thisI don’t really get it. This is like listening to friends who can’t spit out the core details of a story without saying a million words of unnecessary context, but worse because there are commercials.
-
Sjcolby6Stop with the politics talkLove when a true crime podcast talks politics. Jk. Can we not?
-
b3@Ncarlsoni’m hooked!i really enjoy the tone of this podcast—i listen often and i will admit i do prefer the more modern cases but thats just preference. The research and delivery of the cases is well performed and i enjoy the reactions and commentary of the hosts thanks yall!
-
Alli R03Best ladies everSuch a fun podcast that dives into true crime. If you don’t like their side convos, go somewhere more boring. Love ash and alinas dynamic and story telling. Keep it up gals!
-
Queen bee energyLess fakeUsed to be really good. Seems tired, boring and uncaring. Still like them a lot I just haven’t been able to listen for a month + because it’s boring serial killers from the 70s. They need a refresh for sure
-
crookedmoth28Great coverage- one suggestionI feel like each case is covered respectfully in great detail and I have a firm understanding of what occurred. As a psychologist, I have one important note- referring to people as having something “inside you to begin with” that is unleashed paints the picture that every child is born with tools to be a killer or not, which is not the case and can skew how people view each other. Rather, I’d suggest changing language to that people are born with a sensitivity to certain stressors- that may combine in a way to create psychopathology. This is true whether it’s violence, personality disorders, anxiety, or depression. (It’s called the diathesis stress model) Regardless, love the pod.
-
Truecrimefan503I heart MorbidI love this podcast! I enjoy the stories, the side banter is what makes it entertaining and keeps me listening and often makes me laugh out loud. Ash and Alaina keep doing what you’re doing!
-
This is very gooderLess male hate please!!!!Foist of all love yall so much I listen to every episode that I can on my way to work, and I agree lots of men are COMPLETE pigs but not all of us are and it breaks my heart to see men as a broad name being slandered, and I’m allready ashamed enough about the Oval Office (trump) being mostly male votes. However since his election most female social are all male hate and for me the sort of turning me away from most people what you guys don’t understand is that male hate actually brings some men to hurt themselves or others and no one asks or we don’t say anything because were supposed to be (according to societal norms) emotionless slabs of stone. I love your banter tho and i hope you see this comment.
-
BigCat415NorCal namesLove you ladies and this show, but some of the pronunciations in the Zodiac killer episodes were driving me nuts! Someone already caught Marin, and it’s Ben-ee-sha, not Beni’cka (Benicia); and Melvin Bell-eye, not Belly. I grew up in SF and love how much work you’ve done on the NorCal cases tho! If you ever visit definitely get an It’s It. Trust me 😊
-
hahdhdhshjaGreat show!Just started watching a couple days ago and I am so picky on true crime podcasts but I listen about 25 hours a week so I run out of episodes! But I love this show now, love the stories, frequent releases and long episodes
-
Halloweenqueen3131I wish I could skip all of your side conversations and tangentsToo much side conversation, get to the point!! Stay on track!
-
Army wife 05Ash and Zodiac… good job!Y’all should watch the Netflix documentary on the Zodiac and the link to Arthur Lee Allen. I believe he was the Zodiac.
-
wakeupbakeupMy favorite podcast!I started listening to morbid in 2019 and haven’t stopped! They have some really morbid stuff and some lighter spookier stuff to listen to so if you’re not a total weirdo like me who is fascinated by the gruesome gritty heinous details of true crime you can find something chill like listener tales! Or one of Alaina’s old timey tales :) Ash and Alaina do a great job giving trigger warnings before getting into the more disturbing cases. They’re also hilarious and have the most adorable relationship as an aunt/niece but they have a more sister/sister vibe. :)
-
Will StopLow IQsAs each minute of listening past, I could feel myself getting dumber.
-
rxspctPeople have eyesIf they cover a woman serial killer, the killer had such a bad life and needs to be given the benefit of the doubt. If they cover a man serial killer, the killer is scum and should be stoned to death😂😂
-
podcastlistenersTamla H caseI went back to listen to the Tamla case in 2020. These ladies are so blatantly biased. Obvi this case is sketchy but all their interjections with their opinions doesn’t make the case more sketchy… liberal idiots. Glad I never hopped on this podcast bandwagon
-
PiperJJfrankMarinKindly look up the pronunciation for California towns and names. Marin killed me.
-
Nonnyab77YikesIdk a minute in- not for me i dislike “silly” females…4/25/25 hasn’t gotten better

Alyssa SunflowerTrue Crime with Heart, Smarts, Your Spooky Besties, and a Sprinkle of Sass! This podcast is everything true crime should be—thoughtful, respectful, and just the right amount of unhinged. Ash and Alaina have created something that’s more than a podcast; it’s a hangout with your weird, spooky, hilarious best friends who just happen to be dropping deep dives on some of the darkest stories out there. Their commentary is both sympathetic and sharp, always calling out the real villains (including the haters who somehow still miss the point entirely). For once, I actually love the 5–8 minutes of intro banter—it’s cozy, it’s funny, and it makes you feel like you’re part of something. These two gorgeous ghouls have given us weirdos a safe, witty, and wildly entertaining space to exist in. Morbid is an ally, a vibe, and a gem. If you’re mad about that, you’re probably the kind of person they’re calling out. Haters gonna hate—but the rest of us will be here laughing, learning, and feeling lucky this podcast exists.

jaydeashleyI also touched the Titanic!I am new to this podcast and working my way through the back catalogue (only 527 episodes to go)! I listened to one recently where they chatted about a field trip to visit a piece of the titanic and touched it. I feel so validated. I grew up in the North Shore and have distinct memories of my school taking us to an exhibit with a huge piece of the titanic in a room with water running over it. We were told not to touch and of course I absolutely did. Not one person I have told this to believed me. I actually convinced myself I made it up and was just an imaginative child. The way I gasped when you mentioned this in an episode. Five stars for content and another five for the rush of validation.
-
MartionaaMy favvvvvI listen to my friends every night while falling asleep and i often don’t make it past the commentary before im in a deep sleep haha. They are my comfort people and i truly hope they never stop doing this. Been listening for over 4 years. Very informative and very respectful of the victim and their family. I love how the story telling is a genuine reaction from the opposite person and doesn’t sound scripted or like it’s being read directly from paper ( even though i know it is) 10/10. If you like true crime, you’ll love my weirdo besties 🖤
