Such a wealth of knowledge! 🧠
This is one of the most insightful podcasts that I have ever come across! Rachel does such a great job of sharing her wisdom and I love how she leads meaningful conversations with guests who bring so much experience to the table. Highly recommend checking this show out - you won’t be disappointed!

    Great tips!
Short to the point helpful tips! Thank you so much Rachel!

    Thoughtful insight, great tips!
Rachel's content is helpful and practical. I love the length of the show-- quick and packed full of awesome nuggets. Rachel's examples are clear and I feel like things I can put into practice immediately. THANKS!

    I prefer Stever
Content is basic, but it became less attractive with the new host, sorry, she is trying her best, but I am listening to this podcast less and less
  • frissjan
The Content is Good, but the Host speaks in such an unnatural way!
I can’t bear the way the host speaks. She’s sooo stilted and unnatural. I tried, but can’t handle the lack of personality.

The new show isn’t for me
I used to love this show when it was the Get It Done Guy with Stever. The new show is longer, less engaging (to me), and the production quality isn’t up to what I expect from this network. I wish Stever all the best, but I’m sorry to see him go. I have unsubscribed.

Good words, utterly useless and impractical
Basically if you have read any books or blogs about how to be productive, you can pass this podcast. It is just a copy and paste of the ones in the textbook. Of course they might be useful, but if you ever found them work, you would not be listening to a podcast on productivity. No actual useful suggestions. No practical tactics. Like all the other 99% books about productivity. You may find it inspiring in the first hour after listening to it. But I am sure you wouldn’t use it at all from the very next day.

    Invaluable, Actionable and Entertaining
Stever and his world-class guests give listeners an unfair advantage when it comes to prioritizing, systematizing and staying focused on what matters most. I feel completely at home here - bowled over by brilliant advice and nourishing conversations. If you want the knowledge AND mindsets to not just reach your overall goals, but do so in a more efficient and intentional manner, Get-It-Done Guy needs to be your go to resource! 🙌

    Good intentions but
Far too campy to take seriously. He has good intensions but there is so little topic discussion and mostly campy comedy talking about zombies and using strange analogies like a zombie body replacement center? If Stever was to say up front he is a comedian it wouldn’t be so hard to listen to the attempt at comedic relief. Suggestion...less campy analogies and more direct real life situation scenarios do your advice can be applied I. The real world.

    Great show
    Very good work

He tries to be funny and interesting, but the humor is very simplistic. And PLEASE stop saying “Schmoopie”...it’s stupid and annoying! Nobody finds that charming

Love the topic, don’t care for the distractions.
The podcast is about making more efficient use of time yet the host goes off on a tangent every third or fourth sentence. His incessant attempts at jokes make it a challenge to follow along. I wish we could get the same great content without the superficial fluff.

Get it done guy is fun & helpful!
This info has been useful in college, internships, work, grad school, & my personal life. Not only that - because it’s so funny & entertaining, I’ve even shared it with my family (who despite very differing tastes, like it a lot).

    Lots of humor
I enjoy listening for two reasons. The first is the humor, he makes me laugh in each episode as he brings his reality to the points he’s making. The second is the various topics, especially productivity hacks. I’m a fan of being effective and getting more done with my limited time. Because he keeps the podcasts short (thank you SO much for that), I can quickly listen and I learn fast.

Work/Life tips with a wry wit
The short, tight episodes get the information across in a manner that makes me laugh, but also see the benefit in what's communicated. Suggestions that can easily, cheaply and quickly be implemented are the hallmarks of this podcast. Most unique perspective of all the programs I've listened to. If nothing else, listen for the ongoing saga of the owner and employees of Green Growing Things.

    Always useful tips!
I have listened to Stever Robbins and his podcast for years now. I have even participated in a few of his get it done action days. I enjoy his humorous presentations and I always pick up useful tips that I can immediately put into practice in my day. I still use his tips regarding email backlog and computer distraction. Keep up the good work, Stever!!—A very loyal fan

I like the way he presents his tips. Helpful and funny

    Yikes
Ehhhh, I wanted to like this podcast! I’m a fan of others that are produced by the same team. It’s a bit distracting that there’s at least a 1-2 min ad on a 7 min podcast. 😩

    Consistently great
I've been listening to this podcast for at least 6 years and am finally reviewing it. I think what sets it apart and keeps me hooked is that Stever doesn't pursue productivity for productivity's sake. He sees the big picture. Also love the humor and how he isn't afraid to call out nonsense when he sees it. His book is similarly excellent.

    Practical and Humorous
This podcast is both helpful and funny. I enjoy listening to get it done guy. Not only have a instituted some of his tips, but also have become an office favorite by sharing this podcast with co-workers. Since this podcast refrains from profanity, I am much more comfortable sharing the goodness. Thanks again!

I love this guy. Puns. Humor. I'm not even putting him in my 'ashamed to listen to' folder with all the other management, business, motivational stuff.

    enjoying this podcast
    thanks

    Has value but flawed
Because each episode is short, the stupid sarcasm and analogies are sufferable enough to get to provide value. But just barely. His tone deaf sense of humor detracts from his objectives. He recently advertised his own seminars, but the thought of listening to him for longer than 7 minutes makes my skin crawl. At the same time, many recommendations are useful. I wish he'd stop effing them up. Otherwise I can't stay with it much longer.

    Fun and Practical!
My family and I love this podcast! Stever is able to provide great tips for increasing productivity and present it in a fun-to-listen format. While I don’t work in an office setting, I have been able to incorporate some tips into my home life (like organizing files) and also enjoy his summary on the Kon-Mari method of organizing the home. My kids and I listen to this in the car - my 13 year old son loves Steverr’s presentation and I think it exposes my son to ways to increase his productivity at school.

Great Advice on Business, Technology and Life
I found out about Stever Robbins, the "Get it Done Guy", while researching E-mail Overload articles for my doctoral dissertation and found an article he wrote many years back for the Harvard Business Review. It contained more helpful and insightful information on the topic of Email management in one article then I had pulled from dozens of much larger academic research studies. He got to the “core” of the issue quickly and provided real-life, actionable advice, not academic pseudo-babble. I subsequently read a copy of his book and subscribed to his podcast and now regularly follow him on his website, twitter, and facebook accounts. Stever has a perfect combination of humor, insight, and advice and I often finding myself agreeing (or laughing) out-loud as I listen to his podcasts (luckily which are normally in the privacy of my car). Stever provides great business, technology, time management, inspirational, and life advice. He is a great talent that, like a fine wine, that just gets better and better (ok.. maybe more like a good whiskey…).

    Good advice, lame jokes
Good advice, annoying host. His jokes are dumb and inappropriate. I cringe every time. He needs to ditch the scripted cornball jokes and just give us the tips. A little more quick and little less dirty.

    Best Podcast period
Stever provides helpful tips with humor and verve. Worth the time. Since he stays on topic and is not redundant like a lot of podcasters, his podcast are concise.

    Not worth it
Like all of the Quick and Dirty Tips podcasts, this one started out as a good idea but quickly turned into 50% filler content and 50% annoying advertisements. Not worth the time, even though it's only a few minutes lone.
  • AnnasCat
hard to peel through the layers.....
...to ascertain the helpful advice. There is so much "humor" and promoting that I tend to tune out before the actual helpful advice is imparted. The heart-attack-inducing intro and end music does not help, either. I would appreciate it if the podcaster would re-think his approach.
  • Masha0306
    Some really useful tips
You can learn a lot of really great tips from Stever. It's not just the obvious things like make a to-do list. He goes a lot further with really specific advice. The one thing I don't like is the silly segments, but I understand that that's how he wants to make the show.
  • Sail_Boy

    Entertaining and very helpful
Robins is very enjoyable to listen to. He has excellent advice for those wanting to actually "hack" their time to get more done. No fluff here, this is all actionable advice that you can compare to your current way of handling a problem.
