My all time favorite podcast. I keep checking back to see if there’s a triumphant comeback

Just stumbled upon this pod 2 hrs ago. Sheer delight! Imagine my surprise to learn it’s over…it’s all over. However, I look forward to exploring the catalogue! Peace and love to you & yours ☺️

When you don’t care enough to know the pronunciation of victim’s names

I realize I’m late in the game because this podcast is over. I really love Kristin and Brandi,but cringe every time the ENTIRE law enforcement community is harshly judged. There are terrible people in EVERY profession, but law enforcement is constantly on video, camera, etc…, for the whole world to see. Unless you’ve worked in the industry, it is not fair to make judgements about how certain policies and protocols are followed. I have worked in law enforcement for close to three decades and have only worked with very professional, law abiding, caring men and women, who put their lives on the line to protect the people in their communities. All I would ask is to not be so judgmental of people unless you’ve walked a mile in their boots.

Simply because these are the types of white girls that I prefer. The forced laughter that lasts a little longer than it should! The witty inappropriately placed jokes! I’ve never laughed so hard, except at Kevin Hart. I’m going to subscribe to this podcast and tell my two friends about it.

I had been listening to LGTC for only a few weeks before Brandi decided to leave to spend time with her family. Such a hard decision, but I totally respect her for it. Now I’m listening to Norm and Kristen on OTP, and I love it just as much! I’m glad they found a new project. I will miss LGTC though. Bob Moss for life.

Really love most of it!! Their friendship is so fun and the cases are well-researched! But…. can we get a podcast without politics for once? And then they joke about how people don’t like the politics… hilarious?

I keep listening to the old episodes because I really miss this podcast in my rotation.

These two ladies are so funny. I listen to and from work and their show keeps me going and laughing all along the way. None of their jokes or funny moments seem rehearsed. Brandy’s laugh is infectious and Kristen’s wit is so sharp. And you can tell they’ve been close friends for a long time.

But maybe skip to episode 15 or so if the audio quality is hard to hear in the beginning- it gets better quickly! I started listening about 2 weeks after the show ended, and they quickly became one of my favorites. So happy both ladies are thriving and so excited to dive into an old timey podcast!

Look, it’s a comedy podcast. They’re going to laugh! If it’s not your cup of tea, move on. It seems like the people who trash this podcast are mostly conservatives who hate that they’re liberal. A one star review because they’re pro-choice? A one star review because they’re “cop/military haters”?? One star review because some weird lady is mad Brandi wanted to spend more time with her kids? Really?? REALLY?! Come on, people! Get a hobby. I love this podcast because i love the tangents. I love the cases. I love their friendship. I’m not as big of a fan of the new podcast but i hope it does well! Thanks for all the laughs, ladies!

I’ve listened to the entire LGTC collection, compendium, catalogue-call it what you will- MANY times over and still love it. I started listening to them right before the pandemic hit and then their humor and grit helped me make it through on the days of isolation when I felt the world was falling to bits (still is, but that’s for a different podcast review haha). The chemistry Kristin and Brandi have is a perfect blend of smart, sassy, and compassionate. I noticed over time how it became a bit more about the murders and less about the actual court cases awhile ago, but still greatly enjoyed listening. I have yet to find anything that grabs me in the same way this podcast did (yes sorry, Old Timey included) so I will just go and relisten to all the old LGTC podcasts for the….6th time through. Love to all of the skeezy skunches and juvenile bigfoots <3

Team Kristin for life

I loved LGTC and now love this podcast! What could be better than learning with humor and a soundboard! Love Kristin and Norm! They are so fun and it is clear how much love and respect they have for each other while also giving each a hard time. I highly recommend!

It depresses me that I found out about LGTC only two weeks after it ended. I’ve been binging the episodes ever since and this podcast is just non stop entertainment! The podcast has this cozy feel to it while finding a good balance between seriousness and comedy. Brandi and Kristin have a chemistry only long-term friends can achieve, and I look forwards to listening to the rest of the episodes. I regret that I didn’t make it in time to be a Suuupreme Court Justice, but I will make do as a Pig Butter Investor instead! Great job on the pod!

Edited for An Old Timey Podcast: still a 5 star show. I love the deep dives. If you think Kristin sounds high (🤣), listen at 1.25 speed. LGTC: These ladies have the same conversations my friends and I have. I drive an hour home from work and these ladies help me leave my work behind so I can show up refreshed for my family, of course laughing all the way. Chop and Steel was my first ep and is still my favorite. I love listening at 1.25 speed.

Omg how did it take me this long to find these ladies! I’m truly obsessed, they are hilarious. Feels like I’m chatting with my besties!

Brandi clearly brought the charm and the actual humor -no way Kristin will thrive without her. She is insufferable and Norm lost his likability factor. My ears are bleeding.

Found this podcast long after they stopped recording, went all the way back to the beginning and have listened to all their episodes. So sad they are no longer still recording, one of my new favorite podcasts!

I discovered LGTC approximately 2 months before they closed down shop, but I don’t regret a thing! They are so funny and I love listening to all their old episodes on my commute… gonna be so sad when I finish them all 😔

Seriously laugh every episode when I listen. My coworkers think I’m insane. I’m so sad that the podcast is over but I’m so happy that I still have 190 episodes to listen to.

I have laughed hysterically listening to this podcast and then thought omg I’m laughing about murder. These ladies are hysterical but also respectful. Their friendship is authentic and a true joy to listen to. I keep hoping Brandi will change her mind and come back bc I am a selfish ho. Much love and I truly glad Brandi is following her hearts desires. <3

I’ve been listening to podcasts since the dawn of them and have never bothered to review ANYTHING ever. I found yours in January and it’s my absolute favorite. I know it’s over, but wanted you to know it’s been so impactful during some hard times, keeping me smiling and I wish you both the best. Ps Brandi I work for a pro haircare line and I’m a little upset you never mentioned us in your recommendations.

I’ve been bingeing this podcast since the great ObsessedFest debacle of 2023. You ladies are the BFF’s I never knew I had! I laugh out loud at every episode! Good for you for doing what’s best for you and don’t pay any mind to the scorned scunch that left a 1-star review to complain because Brandi decided to be a MOM…I’d leave a crappy review just for her being a cringey human but she said more than enough for everyone to figure that out. Just because us ladies can do it all doesn’t mean we have to! Anyhoo you ladies are lovely and I’ll miss Brandi’s laugh but I’ll be listening and re-listening to these meaty boys and looking forward to seeing what Kristin does next! I’ve only been a listener for a couple of months (came here during the Wine & Crime hiatus) but I love it so much! I was sad to hear that the pod is ending, but so happy that Brandi is following her heart. I will listen to literally anything Kristin does so I’m looking forward to continuing along with her podcast journey!

I recently started listening and am sad to know that the podcast will end at some point. I love hearing the cases you present and your laughter. Your laughter is contagious and makes me laugh super hard as well. I guess I’ll have to start over for the beginning when I come to the end of your amazing show. Found this podcast last summer. When I heard two women laughing so hard they couldn’t speak while discussing murder, I knew I found the podcast for me. Being a bit of a nut, I had to listen to all the episodes in order. Haven’t yet caught up, but getting close. Thank you for your hard work and sharing your lives. This is hands down my favorite podcast. I’m currently on my third re-listen. Brandi and Kristin are absolutely hilarious. Feels like I’m hanging out with my best friends. I’m devastated to see it come to an end, but all good things have to at some point. I will continue to listen as long as the episodes are available!
